Annual photo - atop Latrigg

I seem to have developed the habit of posting a photo of myself each summer - here I am atop the modest summit of Latrigg, above the town of Keswick in the Lake District; after a delightful family picnic with one of the very best views to be found in that delightful corner of England (as endorsed by Alfred Wainwright - who was in a position to know such things).

So, what sort of things does a person pack for a real picnic?

Nice photo. Nature and the hills, esp the nortumbrian borders, I love. many thing s I read, including laura walkers oraclereport.com, recommends when things get overwhelming, too much, going out into nature. I think the quite barren landscapes of Northumbria are beautiful. I am sensing more and more a spiritual presence in my life, snakes and ladders ups and downs, inner reflection, are leading me to realise this. nd also, im not making this up. I look at my phone, laptop clocks. So many times, too often, numbers 11, 33, are shown. 911 comes up too, when I glance randomly at the time
it is said this is evidence of increased spiritual influence, the higher self being more connected to it. Mathew Mconaughey tesserac interstellar prhaps?
Im not saying im some local genius far from it
But I wonder, your interesting articles on endogenous personalities, if im one o these? Characteristics about the endogenous personality, I really think I have them, many of them. Except, its not that I don't have any interest in women or sex. Its just never come naturally to me, despite my desire for women. Ill leave the comment here though I could go on. But endogenous personality article I enjoyed reading, reassuring to read, goodnight

You look very satisfied, and the view is lovely.

It pleases me to see that you appreciate what I delight in with my strenuous hikes into beautiful places. Keep at it Bruce and you will find joys subtle and grand in your travels. May the faeries whisper in your ears, telling you their tales as you gaze out upon their lands.

@Seijio - Luckily, I have covered that subject previously:

@Nicholas - Thanks - I mustn't give the impression of being an intrepid mountain/ wilderness walker - my arthritic knees restrict me to relatively gentle inclines and smooth surfaces (like Latrigg); but we take some kind of country walk of say 2-5 miles as a family every weekend; and what I do, I love.

We used to take the children out wild berry picking – blackberries and sometimes deer berries (a wild cousin of blueberries). Unfortunately it’s very hot and there’s the danger of snakes here in the American deep south. I’m jealous of your English climate.

@BB - You wouldn't envy us today - 10 degrees Celsius, a North Wind, steady rain...

@V - Strange and beautiful photo - is it a rain storm?
