I draw this to your attention - but warning you that this is a two hour, rambling, live interview I did last night with my friend and colleague Edward Dutton (we wrote The Genius Famine together); which was pretty exhausting for me and no doubt considerably more so for the audience. As you would expect, young Ed demonstrated a lot more stamina and energy than yours truly.
Ed is an extremely droll, naturally witty kind of chap - who is also very well informed about all kinds of stuff; so there is a fair bit of me smirking and giggling at his performance.
The chat turned-out more politically specific, scientific, topical and materialistic than I would generally choose to do (or watch) nowadays - mainly in response to the comments and questions from people watching it live.
But I did sometimes take a properly spiritual and Christian perspective, as the framework. And at the end we talked about Brexit and Albion (the UK was supposed/ promised to leave the EU yesterday - but of course we didn't...).
I personally cannot face rewatching it as a whole! - but it is there for anyone who wants to dip-in or use it as background; or see why I mostly prefer writing to pontificating.

What is it the BBC was set up to do? Be educational, informative and entertaining, I believe. That was all three. 2 hours went by in a flash. I really enjoyed it.
@William - I'm delighted you liked it!
I watched the whole thing, so I definitely found it watchable and entertaining, it also explains why my interview of you just had a little viewing spike.
@Keri - Thanks - That you and William liked it - a few comments on the vlog itself, and a few personal e-mails - have convinced me that the exercise was worthwhile.
Glad to have discovered your work via the Good Mr Dutton! I wonder how many others have started searching for Bruce Charlton.
@Davd - No perceptible chnage in blog stats - I don't think. My interests over the past five years have been less scientific and more 'metaphysical' than sought by Ed's mainstream audience.
