I am increasingly aware of the extent of "intelligence" activity in some of the most unexpected areas of life - such as the esoteric/ new age and religious domains - ("spook spirituality", as I recently termed it - spook here meaning intelligence agent or operative).
I also recall that many who were funded by the USSR intelligence services before 1980 did not know that this was the ultimate source of their grants, and subsidies necessary for their survival - until after the fall of the Soviet Union; when their organizations suddenly went-under.
My inference is that something analogous but much bigger, is going-on with respect to current so-called AI.
Anyone who spends five minutes on understanding how the post-November-2022 top-down, totalitarian, global phenomenon of "AI" actually works; will know For Sure that such "AI" cannot possibly, ever, under any circumstances perform those core socially-functional activities that it is being touted to do.
So how come So Many people, including many self-styled Christians, fail this easy-peasy Litmus Test, and end-up supporting what is currently and by-far the globalist totalitarian's major strategic programme?
At some level; these AI-apologist people know they are spouting evil poison.
So why do they do it?
Best guess: They are on the payroll!
They are benefitting, or hoping or expect to benefit (maybe directly, probably indirectly; perhaps via one of the numerous multiple intelligence fronts); from the multi-trillion dollar program - benefitting in some way that is important to them.
Going forward, this is going to be my assumption.
Consequently I shall do my best to shun such folk; because, (obviously!) spooks, spook-servants, and spook-dupes are Not open to persuasion otherwise.
Nor to an appeal to their "better judgement".
Thus: argument with such agents is futile.
Futile for me that is; although it is exactly what they want; which is...
To waste my attention, effort, and time.
Amalgamated interslop will crash harder than the dotcom bubble
ReplyDelete@Hagel - Indeed. But those near the top of the pyramid who devised and drive the "AI" phenomenon, are doing so precisely in order to crash civilization. These know it cannot perform functionally but that its coercive implementation will instead wreck everything important and necessary - and everything good.
ReplyDeleteIt's only the lower level would-be dictators and hedonists who are fooled by the utter drivel of the "AI" positive promises - and that only because they are indifferent to reality and truth (and beauty and virtue) - thinking only of how they personally may profit from the scheme.
And yet the crash will only strengthen the power of those who have implemented it - including their malign spiritual power; because of the passive gullibility of those of us who eagerly embrace our own spiritual destruction.
All that each individual can do is to recognize what is happening and why; but that is ultimately the single most important thing that we Need to do.
Since the material is ephemeral and the spiritual is eternal (if we choose it to be) - our helplessness to prevent the deliberate escalation of material chaos is Not the most important thing. And knowing *that* is our supreme weapon.
Some people may be on the payroll, or more likely, anticipate making money, but in addition, I think a big part of it is widespread but unacknowledged and also mistaken assumptions about technology.
ReplyDeleteThe reason why some technologies were helpful is because of the nature of the inventors, the adopters, and the surrounding society. The reason why some ordinary people sometimes made money from them is because of the nature of the economy at the time. It all depends on the circumstances.
For whatever reason, people want to say that, alone among all human endeavors, technology can only be good or neutral. People also want to say that technology shouldn't be evaluated based on its effects here and now but based on its place in some highly speculative scheme of human development or its potential effects in the future.
I don't need to know about the deep metaphysical purpose of knives to know that chimpanzees learning how to make knives would be net bad for them. I don't need to say that knives are inherently bad to say that chimpanzees, as they are, would not use knives well.
I also am not going to claim that chimpanzees learning to make knives is somehow putting them on the path to evolve into super-chimps. They would just know how to do one particular thing and have some addition knowledge, but otherwise, would be the same as they are now.
Likewise, any particular technology is just that, a technique for doing one particular thing in particular circumstances; it isn't putting us on the path to becoming supermen.
@NLR - There is indeed an analysis of technology and its value in general and through history.
ReplyDeleteYet, this kind of global totalitarian top-down bureaucratically-imposed technology is something new in the world. The "AI" phenomenon is very different even from the spread of household computation and the internet, just a generation ago.
This seemed dead obvious to me from the get go, at the end of November 2022 - because I'm always looking out for such things; but by now it ought to be obvious to everybody.
