If there had been no call from the Valar; this mixture of 'highly' spiritual, middlingly spiritual, and unspiritual elves would have remained in a single society. "

I believe this could also apply to human souls and be part of the reason for their incarnation on Earth. We are put here to bring out innate tendencies which would be unexpressed in a purely spiritual state.William Wildbloodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13231219533755925897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4683970826895755480.post-86725329663886511482020-12-20T01:33:10.971+00:002020-12-20T01:33:10.971+00:00There's an image of a small group of pilgrims ...There's an image of a small group of pilgrims in a fledgling galactic civilization who set off for a star far beyond Man's frontier. They build their own society on a planet there, until one day the star enters a mode never before observed by science. Enormous solar storms blast the colonists with radiation. According to some inner disposition, their bodies begin to rapidly evolve. Some go through metamorphosis and become splendid titanic geniuses, super-Men. Some wither away and die, apparently in despair. And some transform into vast, disgusting Lovecraftian monsters, tormented by appetite and malice. After a great war, the titans annihilate the last of the monsters and set out on a voyage back to civilization. They have something worthwhile to contribute.

Just an idea I had for a story. You talked about Steiner's prophecy that, whether he wants to or not, modern Man would be transfigured by a new angelic initiative - forced to become monstrous or angelic by whichever fashion we receive the light. "Things coming to a point."

Strange stuff, something tingling in the corner of vision. There's something there. Epimetheusnoreply@blogger.com
