I just wanted to thank you for restarting an old interest in megaliths etc that I had neglected since my 20's. I was vaguely aware of J.M but turns out he was a much deeper soul than I had previously thought. I am now boring my family and friends with esoterica about Ancient Britain and Jesus' lost years and it's all your fault!

I had the great experience this summer of stumbling across a stone circle unexpectedly -

this has only happened to me once before, somwhere in Northumberland in the middle of a forest, but I'm not sure where...

I also recall coming across a megalith in the middle of a field between Shaftoe Crags and Cambo one evening, and touching it to feel a shock at how warm it felt. Presumably this was stored heat from a warm day, but for a moment it felt exactly like the stone was alive...
