Some vital definitions relating to Primary Thinking and Final Participation

Imagination - mental 'pictures' - important but not-necessarily true

Inspiration - true knowledge coming from external divine sources

Intuition - true knowledge coming from the inner divine source

The Real Self - the divine within, unique to ourselves
(due to our eternal pre-mortal existence), and shared with all others (because a part of God; due to us each being a son or daughter of God)

Primary Thinking - thinking of the (divine) Real Self
(and Not the mass of sometimes-willed and sometimes-automatic 'cognitive processing' resulting from instinct and environmental interactions)

Final Participation = Intuition - our true relationship with the world when engaged in Primary Thinking

  1. Related to prior hypothesis: Imagine if some of your thoughts were of the sort that could change reality directly. These thoughts would then be completely True. These thoughts would be creative (and thus flow from a Divine nature), and would then be part of co-creation with God. Does this sound like Final Participation?

I think we should think through the consequences of this "observation as a mechanism for creation" notion (separate from any possible link to QM.)

  2. @RB - Yes, that's it - the word Participation implies co-creation.

(The word Final implies divine - there is nowhere further to go after divine.)

  3. I would say that intuition is logically valid insight into the meaning of what is accepted as true, but a valid insight into the consequences of false premises is likely to be false.

This is key because it is only inspiration, not intuition, that can tell us whether our assumptions are false. Intuition only reveals what our assumptions entail.

  4. @CCL - Yes, we need both; although in the era of Original Participation, Inspiration was very dominant over Intuition.
