As I have often said here; among those who kept their sanity through the events of the Birdemic and Peck, almost all seem to have succumbed to one or another of the species of AI-dolatry.
While plenty of others (who pride themselves on their critical acumen) are on-board with one or more of the several warmanias that - apparently without concern or comment - fill the mainstream- (and alternative-) media, and are the subject of major corporate and financial leader's statements - as well as being prominent among the pronouncements of the governmental and supra-governmental leadership class.
Then there are spite-filled Schadenfreude-addicts; who genuinely regard negatively-motivated destruction of people and organizations they personally hate or resent, as evidence of civilizational progress!
Such matters cannot be argued, and I have no intention of arguing them further here!
But, given the pervasiveness of self-celebrating evil and lunacy; the question arises as to why things are not a great deal worse than they already-are.
Of course; sooner or later, "things" will be, because they must be, qualitatively and undeniably worse, with a general collapse into chaos - yet this has been deferred for much longer than I would have thought possible.
I am sure that overall-human-goodness cannot happen except from good persons with good motivations - yet where are these people?
I can't see them, at least not among the living; therefore my best guess is that the well-motivated good persons must be among the dead (specifically the resurrected dead in Heaven) - and perhaps too among the non-human denizens of this earthly reality.
I think we owe these "invisible" entities heartfelt gratitude for "things" being as good as they are, instead of a lot worse.
And maybe such gratitude could be the basis of our-selves repenting, and allying-with these positive influences among these deceased persons and not-people. That way (and Not by the usual political strategy of making forming alliances with slightly-less-than-average evil entities); we might genuinely help the world to become a better-place than otherwise.
