Creativity is a positive personal contribution to divine creation - an addition to divine creation.
Creativity is possible because each Being is unique (ultimately; none other is the same) and therefore each Being has something unique to add to divine creation.
Indeed; creativity is an inevitable consequence of any Being living
1. From its uniqueness; and
2. In-harmony-with divine creation.
Creation is not something we strive for!
Simply by thinking, acting, living harmoniously with divine creation; the uniqueness of each Being ensures that something "original" is always and inevitably being added to creation.
That which enables us to live in harmony with divine creation is Love: Love of God, and of Divine Creation itself.
And this is what God wants from us: God wants us to expand divine creation in ways that God cannot.
Note added, for clarification: Creativity requires both uniqueness and harmony with creation. Uniqueness on its own is selfishness, hence a kind of evil. If all Beings lived only from their uniqueness there would be chaos. On the other side; harmony with divine creation on its own is merely passive and ultimately futile. If all Beings lived merely in passive harmony with divine creation, there would be no point in their existing; since nothing at all would be added to God's work.
