I see 'personality' as the net result of how one handles one's emotions. There are no end of 'Personality Types' and "Personality Forums', leading people to believe they were born with whatever their personality is. That, however, could only be true if one did zero work on one's development during life. To any sentient human, which is by no means all of them, who, what and how they are, is the result of their experiences, and the contemplation of those experiences, that follows. My own view of personality is that the highest quality personality is the one least visible to others. It serves the human, as opposed to the human serving it.
