Ace of Wands and Children of the Stones - Glamour versus enchantment in 1970s children's television

Ace of Wands was a very glamorous children's TV program from the early 1970s - a fantasy themed series with a leading character named Tarot: a stage conjurer whose powers were real and who solved crimes and thwarted magical villains. 

It also has one of the best ever title themes - very characteristic of the early 70s (which was an extension of the late 60s):

Ace of Wands was a deliberately trendy and cool kids programme, and left this mark. For me, the lasting impact was a desire (unfulfilled) to live in a house that had a balcony bedroom overlooking the main room, and also to have a pet owl:

So Ace of Wands was all about glamour, about image, fashion, style... It evoked day dreams of a wish-fulfillment kind. 

By contrast, The Children of the Stones was genuine enchantment. Set in a fictional Avebury, it was a Very Scary tale of ancient magic persisting in the modern world, and the battle of good and evil played out in miniature. It has a script, strong story, excellent actors, powerful visuals - and utterly compelling music. It combined references to the new science of black holes and geophysics in archaeology, and the new alternative sciences of ley lines and earth mysteries. 

Its lasting effect was to do with the idea of there being more than meets the eye to life - more than materialism; that spiritual factors, ancient powers and perils are under the surface and affecting the whole.

By 1976 - when Children of the Stones was made - the national mood had changed away from the 60s hippies to include many example of what has been termed Weird Albion or Folk Horror. This was also related to a strong interest in self-sufficiency, rural life; folk music and dance; neo-paganism and folklore. 

How about this introduction to grab attention and create an instant atmosphere of menace? Especially when aimed at young children just before tea time? Little wonder everybody remembers it.

 

The story is foreseen and summarized by a strange painting which was stumbled-across by the boy protagonist, just before he and his father went to the fictional Avebury to do some scientific research on the megaliths. Again - once seen, never forgotten:

Both Ace of Wands and Children of the Stones were good children's TV, both memorable, and both were lastingly influential in the memory. But the one from an ultimately superficial and delusory glamour - while the other was a bit of genuine enchantment - which yet may prove to be deep and permanent. 

Concerto for Double String Orchestra by Michael Tippett

As I've said before, there are only four of Tippett's works that I really like, all from his brief, early and 'lyrical' period - but these I like a lot! The others are A Child of our Time, the Corelli Fantasia and The Midsummer Marriage - and the Double String concerto (1938-9) is the first of this quartet that he composed. 

It is quite readily enjoyable even on the first hearing - especially the sumptuous slow movement; being in the English tradition of pastoral music that links back to Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Butterworth and the like. 

But it is immediately obvious that Tippett's music is distinctive in being highly contrapuntal; with a tremendous busyness of entwining independent lines in all the voices. There is also a lot of syncopation - which is something I particularly appreciate. The impression is one of great fertility of both imagination and sheer energy. 

Once begun, the movements seldom 'settle' until they have finished - even the soaring and unwinding long melody of the slow movement is underpinned by counter-melodic activity in the lower voices, which keeps the harmonies 'off balance' until the final resolution. 

I first heard this more than forty years ago as the flip-side of Vaughan Williams's Tallis fantasy; but I have been listening to it more frequently than ever before over the past several weeks, and just finding it more and more to my liking. 

For me the concerto starts well, then keeps getting better and better - until the very end. The final movement combines the contrapuntal energy of the first with the lyrical melodiousness of the second in a completely satisfying way.   

The battle between enchantment and glamour (with reference to Tolkien)

We all need to escape - with a psychological need that gets more urgent and compelling as the bars of the Iron Prison close-in upon the whole world. 

But the psychological need is mostly assuaged by glamour - as constructed and disseminated by the mass media. From adolescence onward, typical modern Man absolutely relies-upon glamour fantasies (and, maybe, a bit of our own - secondhand - glamorous reality at evenings, weekends and on holiday). 

In daydreams, in fantasy, modern Man sees himself, watches-himself and his life, as if he was in a photo-shoot or movie - cool, stylish, attractive, charming, dominant, impulsive, blissed-out... whatever it may be - as if he lived 'inside' the world of the media. 

The hedonic life... And of course it does not work; even on its own terms. It is not gratifying - except negatively (scratching an itch of dependence), it is merely addictive. 

People have 'fun' and 'enjoy' themselves, and (essentially) discuss this online (and sometimes in person...) - and people are depressed, miserable, afraid and despairing... As who would not be with a life divided between expanding-crushing bureaucracy and totalitarian regulation on the one hand; and the shallow, jaded triviality of glamour on the other. 

We need enchantment (not glamour) - and the re-enchantment of The World, of Life, must not be an attempt to apply enchantment like paint on a surface; but instead a rebuilding of life from new (or rather) old assumptions.

Building from assumptions that are first Christian (so that our faith brings hope) and secondly (but vitally) Romantic - so that we know our own personal everyday world (properly understood) is alive, conscious, purposive - and that we are personally involved in the reality of this world by the relation of love.

This spiritual life of excitement and enchantment is not 'private' - because the spiritual realm is objectively real; but enchantment is hidden from the world of politics, bureaucracy, the media and public discourse generally. 

We really are actors in an unfolding drama of enchantment - but this is not a public drama to be observed on screen and in media; instead our life is a spiritual drama that we know in our own heart-thinking; and shared with God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost - also with spiritual beings such as angels and demons, who have vital roles to play in the drama. 

And re-enchantment must come from within - it is not a consequence of external stimuli.

Not even Tolkien's work will supply enchantment - obviously, because most of his fans have extracted merely distracting glamour from Lord of the Rings: they see it as 'sword and sorcery', not as an enchanted world.

Tolkien rightly defended escapism as a valid goal of reading fairy stories - but he meant the escape to be into the enchantment of faery; not escape into merely mundane glamour, excitement and hyper-stimulus. 

For Tolkien it was only partly a matter of 'escape-from' - but mostly a matter of what the reader 'escapes-to'. 

If the reader escapes-to a fantasy world that is merely not-true, a world into-which the reader imports the (inverted) values of modernity - a focus on cool, style, charm, sex and sexual transgression, ultra-violence fear and despair; then glamour has displaced enchantment, and escapism has become merely therapeutic

To regard Tolkien's world as implicitly one of mere 'glamour', of psychology - as do most of Tolkien's modern 'fans' and 'scholars' - is an inevitable consequence of carrying mainstream leftist-materialist atheism into that world - thereby annihilating enchantment. 

Enchantment is (as of 2021, when things have come to a point) open only to Christians - and only effective in their lives when that Christianity is Romantic. 

Enchantment then brings both hope and optimism - because Christian hope points beyond this mundane and transient world of corruption; and  optimism comes from the revelation that our actual life can be - when properly regarded - an heroic daily adventure, a war of good and evil: exactly like the Lord of the Rings truly is, for those with hearts to know it.    

2020 teaches that we cannot rely on traditional Christian good advice and sound practice

There are several pieces of traditional Christian good advice, which Christians feel 'safe' in swapping. These vary between denominations; but would include attending church to gather for worship (especially - for Roman and Anglo Catholics - participating in the Mass/ Holy Communion), reading and studying scripture, praying, reciting the Jesus Prayer. 

But after 2020, and the vast failure of Christian discernment in relation to the birdemic (now continuing with the peck) - with Christian support for almost universal closure of churches, suspension of sacraments, an end to gathering - even ceasing ministering to the sick and dying etc - we can easily think of many examples of people who followed all the good advice to-the-letter and lived fully in accordance with sound practice... yet failed in discernment and have still not repented. 

To be more explicit - there were Protestants who had been reading the Bible daily and meeting in scripture study for year; there were Roman Catholics who fasted and attended mass daily; active Mormons who participated in Temple activities; Eastern Orthodox who recited the Jesus prayer... 

Yet the leadership all these (and the other) major Christian churches supported the closure of their churches and the 100% priority of materialistic birdemic imperatives. And the church members abandoned en masse the core activities of Christianity as they themselves defined it (Catholics stopped Mass, Mormons closed Temples etc.). 

In doing so they revealed that - as a matter of fact - these Christians believed the government and mass media more than they believe the scriptures. They believed their leadership whatever the leadership said (however illogical and incoherent, however servile to the evil fashions of secular politics). They jettisoned centuries of tradition - and adopted whatever the daily news dictated. 

One thing we can (indeed must) learn from this is that traditional Christian Good Advice, and traditional Christian Practices are not sufficiently powerful for these times. 

They may continue to be helpful to individuals in various ways - but 2020 shows that they are just not strong enough; however it was in the past - nowadays they cannot be relied upon.

Indeed, Christians have shown themselves unable to depend upon any external practices or guidance. None have been able to supply the discernment and courage that everybody in the world needs now.

Yet this is no cause for panic or despair - our God is the creator of this world (and sustains every person's life) and loves us each as his children... Therefore we shall never be left bereft of the guidance and strength that we need for salvation. 

But (having learned the lessons of 2020) Christians now need to learn to look for guidance and strength in places that have - until now - neglected; especially, from within, the intuition of our own true and divine self; and the revelations of the Holy Ghost. 

But if we look - we will find. 

Fighting the Fear: Faith & hope-based discernment is our best protection against evil

I am ever more convinced that evil requires our consent to harm us - and that most of the strategizing of evil is directed at getting people to consent to evil - to invite evil into the soul. 

And fear is the main (but not only) way that people are induced to invite evil - because fear is a kind of sin, and needs to be discerned and repented in order to lose its malign effect 

Of course, this is a mortal life in an entropic world; and we must accept that death and decay are necessary parts of our experience. For example; you and I are still alive because we have something important to learn from this world; and nobody can reach eternal Heavenly life except via death. 

So, contrary to the teachings of This World; we must learn not to fear the basic nature of this life - and to regard this life as essentially good if we (as individuals) take the opportunities it offers us. 

At the same time, Christians must recognize the transitional nature of this world. This mortal life is vital -  but secondary to eternal resurrected life. 

The combination means that Christians cannot legitimately deal with fear by ignoring the world - for Christians this amounts to pretending that evil does not exist, and pretending there is no spiritual war: pretending that evil is not-really attacking us...

Christians need both to recognize and to reject evil.

We don't need to 'think about' evil beyond this recognition and rejection, we don't need to understand all about it - but we do need to know evil when it impinges directly upon us - which it will, later if not sooner.  

At present the world is ruled by evil, and consequently our lives are full of threats designed to evoke the sin of fear. Most of these threats are unreal; because evil is a liar - systematically and compulsively. 

(Even when evil makes a true statement, speaks a true fact (something which is very painful for an evil being) this 'fact' will always be presented in a false and misleading framework. Specific truth will be put to the service of general falsehood; bits of reality will be twisted to reinforce the unreal.) 

Nonetheless, among the mass of lies to induce fear, there will also be scattered and seeded real threats - threats to our health, happiness, lifespan... 

Yet these 'true threats' must be treated with the same contempt as the mass of fake threats: which is to say, we must never allow ourselves to become colonized by fear, from whatever cause or no cause; and must always recognize and reject fear when it arises in us - and whether the threat is fake or indeed real.

When we feel fear arise in us, we need to recognize it as a doorway to evil being opened by purposive evil; a door which we our-selves are opening, and which we ourselves need to shut as fast as possible - before evil can pries it wider, enter in force, and begin colonizing our soul.  

How can a Christian close that door of fear? By faith and hope; faith in God who is the creator of this world, and who loves us each as his child - and hope in eternal resurrected life by following Jesus through death to Heaven. 

Faith and hope are what enable us to learn from this life and its experiences - instead of the false alternatives of being overwhelmed by threats or ignoring them. 

So, when we feel that stab of fear which the evil overlords work so hard to induce in us; then we can recognize the fear as a sin, place it in the eternal and joyous context provided by the faith and hope - and regard fear as just another chance to learn necessary lessons from our mortal life, living in this world. 

How to become more elvish - three possibilities in Tolkien's universe

What Christian knowledge is sure enough to 'go to the stake' over?

The reason I am so aggressive against the errors and accretions, the false and unnecessary aspects of Christian belief, is that for Christianity to do its work in our lives in 2021 - we each personally need to be sure in our knowledge. 

It is all very well for traditionalists and the orthodox of various denominations and churches to assert their complex laundry lists of must-dos and must-believes - the systems and screeds of things that everyone ought-to (or be an outcast heretic, apostate, not-a-Christian) but it is overdue that Christians got real. 

What matters is what matters - and what matters is (now and increasingly) that which you know to the extent that you would 'go to the stake' over it. 

What a Christian asserts must from now be rooted in solid and personal knowledge. Christian church leaders are traitors, scripture translations interpretations are corrupt... 

Everything that is external and official and institutional is now corrupt and has joined the side of Satan. A Christian life cannot be rooted in the corrupt and evil. 

These End Times are a spiritual war that affects every single person on the planet - nobody is exempted, all are tested. And we will be tested first and most strongly where our beliefs are weakest. 

You will be probed, pushed and pressurized on some-thing that you have always 'insisted' was necessary to all Christian - but which you personally are not so sure of that you would suffer actual and imminent harm to defend it. 

The End Times will discover and test all our hypocrisies. 

You may have insisted that acknowledgment of original sin was essential to all Christians, that there is no salvation outside of your church, that the creedal formulation of necessary belief in the Holy Trinity was vital to any Christian - all the specific lifestyle and ritual aspects and exclusions... There are many, many such 'must-believes' in mainstream Christianity...

Okay - it is easy to say that these 'must' be believed by 'all true Christians' - but would you personally really 'go to the stake' over all of them? 

Because if you regard every-thing as equally essential, yet would not go to the stake over all of them; over all the issues that you supposedly regard to be essential to Christians - then you will abandon Christianity sooner or later (if not already) - because your faith is only as strong as the weakest belief you regard as essential.  

Roman Catholics who had asserted that the priesthood and participation and Mass were essential to salvation, found themselves abandoned by priests and excluded from Mass for many months - and with the RCC enthusiastically supporting this complete withdrawal of sacraments for as long as the secular authorities chose to impose it. The statistics of national health - as these were interpreted by officials - took absolute and exclusive priority over what had been regarded as essential spiritual values. 

Clearly, these spiritual values were too weak to matter, when the chips were down.   

Protestants who had asserted that frequent gathering for worship and prayer was integral to Christian life, suddenly found that a perceived risk to health was more important. 

The supposed need for Christians to gather turned out to be too feeble to motivate Protestants, when they were put under pressure. Health Officials turned out to have more real authority in their lives than The Bible. Indeed, many embraced the restrictions that prevented their gathering, and were (and are) very reluctant to abandon them - even when 'health officials' allow it. 

If Christians insist upon their 'belief' in complex, large, secondhand schemata as the only real and true Christianity - then their belief will be too feeble to pass the tests of these times. 

Their belief as a whole will fail; because their specific component beliefs are founded on grounds that are now obviously insecure - grounds such as church authority, or very exact historical and linguistic interpretations of The Bible. 

When we cannot (and should not) be confident in the truth of church authority, or the truthfulness and accuracy of Bible scholars and interpreters - then these Christian beliefs will crumble when threatened with adverse consequence.  

Most such 'Christians' have already ceased to be real Christians, whether or not they have officially left their churches - and they have joined the side of global totalitarianism - advocating as life priorities... whatever they are told to advocate (birdemic, peck, antiracism, climate change, socialist economics... whatever). 

Probably at least tens-of-millions of people who were (more-or-less) followers of Jesus in 2019 crossed to the other side in early 2020 - in what was surely the biggest (proportionately as well as numerically) apostasy since the early churches were organized.

And hardly anybody seems to have noticed! Yet destruction of the Christian churches was very likely the core goal of the birdemic fraud and the totalitarian coup which it excused. 

My point here is that if you believed in 2019 that Christian churches (i.e. your favoured church) are essential to salvation - then you have already been tested, and quite likely have failed - and have de facto joined the side of Satan in the spiritual war. 

But the process will continue.  

What Christians absolutely need to do, is each to base his own faith upon what he personally regards as absolutely solid ground: ground solid-enough that he would metaphorically (if not literally) 'go to the stake' over its truth. 

In other words - these times require each Christian to embark on a radical process of grounding his own faith on only those places where he is sure that he is secure. 

Sure enough to suffer for it. 

But if you continue to insist on the complex and secondhand descriptions of Christianity, your own motivation to remain Christian will be undercut by your (perfectly well founded) lack of confidence in the rightness of external institutional authorities (who will, overall, be in service to evil).  

Note: The forces of evil are perfectly aware of this phenomenon; and one mode of anti-Christian subversion is to pose as a strict and traditionalist Christian, of whatever denomination or church; and to state categorically that all those who fail to sign-up to all of the complex and voluminous requirements of that institution are thereby heretics or apostates. 

These anti-Christians therefore say: All True Christians are like THIS, and if you are not like THIS then you are not a True Christian and ought to acknowledge the fact, and leave the church and Christianity (and, implicitly, join with 'us demons').

And, on the other side, there are the usual 'liberal Christians' who claim to be radically reforming Christianity down to its true essence, while actually assimilating it with the demonic leftist-globalist totalitarian agenda. 

'Your' task, as an individual Christian. is not to answer this question for everyone, but for your-self. To discover what aspects of that vastly bloated structure of inherited institutional Christianity you actually are personally sure about - sure enough to go to the stake over. 

...And use this as the basis of your Christian faith. 

 

Three errors of traditional Christian theologies

Error 1. An exclusive focus on salvation - when theosis should be the main activity of mortal living

Traditional theology has tended to make salvation a problem, a difficulty, the proper main focus of our mortal lives. When actually salvation is as easy as wanting it and committing to follow Jesus through death into Heavenly life eternal. 

This is clear from the Fourth Gospel (of 'John') - but traditionally Christianity chose to subordinate the Fourth Gospel into a framework provided by Matthew, Luke and Paul.

Salvation is in truth therefore a choice - and that choice is finally made after death; our nature and what we do in mortal life contributes to the outcome of that choice. 

But salvation is not 'a problem', and attaining salvation is certainly not supposed to be the focus of Christian life. Each Christian is meant to have the happiness that comes from hope - and the hope which comes from faith - and to derive happiness and security from his decision to follow Jesus. 

Christians are Not supposed to be fretting and worrying (or despairing) in doubts concerning the certainty of our salvation.  

The proper focus of Christian life should therefore be 'theosis' or becoming more divine (more God-like) - more divine not temporarily in this mortal life; but eternally after resurrection. 

In sum, this continued mortal life exists in order that we may become more God-like after resurrection: that is the reason of mortal life (and why we do not all die as soon as incarnated, while innocent - and before we have a chance to fall into damnation).   

Error 2. Double-negative theology of mortal life - when it is actually an education

Traditional theology has sometimes included theosis, but only in a 'double-negative' context. 

Original Sin is an example of double-negative theology. This posits that damnation (and Hell) is the default for all humans of whatever age, time or place - unless they are saved (by faith, the church, good works - or whatever). The negative is assumed, and Christianity posited to remove that negative. 

For another example of negative theology; Medieval Roman Catholic theology and practice developed the idea that the post-mortal state of purgatory could be shortened and ameliorated by the activities of the living (prayer and other offerings). By the actions of mortal life, post-mortal life would be less-bad - which is what I mean by a double-negative conceptualization. 

This is a negative theosis - we are not becoming better Men with a positive pay-off after death; not becoming more like God - but are alleviating various sufferings imposed by God. 

The nature of mortal life was often conceptualized especially by Protestants in terms of salvation almost-purely (leaving out theosis) - so that by wrong choices in this mortal life would could fail to commit to following Jesus and be damned, or could sin and fail to repent and be damned... 

At the extreme, our eternal state was dictated by our spiritual state at the moment of death - and the rest of life had no effect. Mortal Life was therefore a test; something that could be failed - but not something by which we could be spiritually and eternally improved. 

Such a view of mortal life devalues it into a problem 

But - especially after we have realized that salvation is not a problem - once we want it, and are prepared to do whatever is necessary to follow Jesus after death; then Mortal Life should be seen positively. 

Our mortal life should be seen as potentially incremental and building towards a positive post-mortal outcome. We have experiences (provided for us by God, the creator) - and we may learn (what God intends) from these experiences - and thereby undergo theosis; and become better equipped for a more God-like life after death and resurrection. 

   

Error 3. Regarding only Men as alive and conscious - when universal consciousness of beings is the reality

This error was already present at its foundation but has become much more severe over the history of Christianity. Until by now, Christianity is assumed to be only about men and women (Men) - human beings; and the rest of creation is assumed to be unconscious, lacking purpose - and most of the world is regarded as 'dead' - i.e. the 'material' world of physics which operates only by deterministic causes or 'randomness'. 

This has led to the present usual idea of Christianity as being almost exclusively about 'morality'; as a moral play acted-out against a backdrop of dead and/or unconscious stuff. 

But the truth is that this is a universe of Beings, who are all - in different ways - alive, conscious and with purpose. The drama of salvation and theosis plays-out for all Beings - in different ways. 

As ancient Men knew, and as human children are born knowing; Man lives among Beings - and all that we know, we know about Beings. 

When God created reality - God created Beings - and Beings are what God created - God did not create merely dead/ unconscious/ inert stuff

A corrected Christian theology

When these traditional errors are corrected we can realize firstly that - for those who have become Christian, and chosen to follow Jesus through death to resurrection as their primary commitment - this mortal life is mainly about theosis. Secondly that this theosis is positive - which means that the lessons we learn in this mortal life have a positive benefit for our post-mortal, Heavenly life. And thirdly that the drama of our mortal lives is enacted in a living and conscious world of purposive Beings - most of whom are not human.  

Overcoming the vast scale of failure: recognizing your Achilles' heel

It seems clear that we are all of us raised to have at least one, but usually many, Achilles' heels - weak points in our world view, through-which evil can enter and colonize; and turn us to its side in the spiritual war.  

2020 showed us a comprehensive failure of All human institutions, of All ideologies - the failure even to to recognize the obvious fact of a global, totalitarian, leftist-materialist - hence evil - coup.  

Everybody failed - but in many different ways. 

The various causes of their various failures are what I term their Achilles' heels. 

The collection of these Achilles' heels, over several centuries, could be termed Leftism - or simply the demonic strategy. 

Some early ones were pacifism, abolition (of slavery), and socialism. Nationalism came later. Since the sixties there have been feminism, antiracism, 'environmentalism' (now reduced to 'climate change'), multi-culti-anti-nativism, and the stages of the sexual revolution culminating in the gross lies of the trans-agenda. 

These are all provide examples of the way in in which adherence to a single false - partial, distorted, simplistic - principle or idea, can serve to be the entry point of evil - from which it expands to take-over a person's perspective. 

But 2020 also showed the failure in the West of the Christian churches: the Roman Catholic church, the Anglican churches and the Protestant including Evangelical churches, the Mormon church etc. - none of which recognized the reality of the Satanic coup; all of which explicitly embraced one or more of the coup's ideologies via is weaponized Litmus Test issues. 

What we saw in 2020, on a vast scale, was the failure of every mainstream and powerful metaphysics; due to one or many Achilles' heels. For instance; we have all seen the way in which a 'lifelong' 'committed' socialist, feminist, 'civil rights' activist or whatever, is led-by-the-nose into supporting gross and obvious evil. 

It is obvious why the secular ideologies all failed; but why did the major Christian churches all fail? 

Each for different reasons, perhaps. Each had built itself on some principle which 2020 revealed to be inadequate. Roman Catholics and Mormons relied on their leadership to tell them what was right and what to do - and when these leaders became assimilated to the coup ideology, then members were drawn with them. 

Protestants began with an incoherent dependence on 'scripture' - and (mostly via the generations of corruption of Bible 'scholarship' to secular modes of reasoning) scripture translations and 'historical' interpretation have become incrementally assimilated to the coup ideology. 

It seems that now 'the Bible says' and 'the leaders say' we all ought to live in accordance with the coup agenda in part or in whole: believe the birdemic propaganda, crave the peck, take the knee/ confess our racism, welcome mass colonization/ cultural annihilation by 'refugees', clamour for a worldwide anti-carbon economy - and embrace the new world order of omni-surveillance and micro-control necessary to impose all these and more.  

There has been 'no hiding place' among the institutions, nor among the major churches. No hiding place among the ideologies, the theologies, the systems...

Faced with so many lies, so much dishonesty, such a vast and relentless propaganda, so little courage and principle from an expedient-faithless populace... almost-all social institutions simultaneously capitulated all over the world. 

And apparently none have repented. (Individuals - yes; but not repentant institutions.)

My understanding is that, by the evil choices of many Men, the world has become as it is; yet God can turn even these End Times to Good. We are now, each of us, confronted by a world of evil institutions - including not just the actual churches, but the principles and practices of those churches - which have been 'turned' onto the side of Satan.  

Each Man must either choose assimilation into this obviously-evil world - supported (overall) by each of the world institutions; or else he is thrown back upon him-self; upon his own personal discernment and judgment - and his capacity to take the side of God and follow Jesus Christ. 

There is no program, nor formula; no checklist nor principle - because all programs and formulae/ checklists and principles have been corrupted and re-directed towards the devil's side.  

What we each do have is the intuition, the heart-thinking, of our divine self (or soul) as internal guidance; we have the revelation of the Holy Ghost as external guidance; and we have the motivation based on hope which comes from faith. 

What this means is that Life has become very simple! 

It seems like a paradox - when the world has reached such an incredible level of complexity and interlocking deception and evil-intent. But as the world has become very-obviously too complex to explain in materialist terms - it has become spiritually simplified to mere evil-intent (in its multifarious and proliferating expressions) 

To take the side of God, solidly and against all these pressure; we absolutely must recognize and repent those Achilles' heels in ourselves - because they are always present. 

Recognize (and repent) those precious-but-vulnerable points of 'central' doctrine or principle which have rendered All of us as individuals (as well as All institutions) vulnerable to colonization by evil.

These are not the central points of Christianity - and never really have been (although in past ages, when Men implicitly assumed and knew more of the divine and spiritual than now, they could without fatal harm be regarded as core and essential). 

The central essence of being-a-Christian is not to be made dependent on any worldly thing - including not depending on the validity on any particular church institution - but come to each of us directly and unmediated from God. 

After all, God is creator and continually create-ing; God is wholly Good - and is our Heavenly Father. And just like any ideal mortal father; God will never leave any single one of his children bereft of sufficient guidance for his salvation and theosis when God can (by his ongoing work of creation) reach and shape the lives of all of us - no matter how bad 'the world' becomes. 

It is faith in this simple fact that gives indomitable hope - and an antidote to fear, despair and all other evil snares. These times can teach us this vital Christian lesson; and more powerfully than any ever before. 

 

Christian women used to be more religious than men - now they are less

Probably a majority of real Christians in the past, for many centuries, were women. Of course, we cannot look into the souls of Men - but in so far as there were objective correlates - such as the number of nuns compared with monks, the sex ratio of regular church attenders and practitioners etc. - women mostly outnumbered men both as a proportion and in terms of average devoutness. 

This was also revealed by the immense and indomitable long-term courage of the 'Babushka'-type old women, who stuck to their publicly declared Christianity even under conditions of harsh oppression; and did their best to transmit this to younger generations. 

It seems as if - up until the middle 20th century - most nice and virtuous women in the UK would not just self-identify as 'a Christian', and would also want to follow Jesus to Heaven; there to be reunited with loved ancestors, and to await their families.

But now, women of the same personality type - who are better than average in terms of niceness and virtue (although much less nice and virtuous than good women of a few generations ago) have very obvious taken the side of Satan in the spiritual war. 

Consequently, I think that there are probably - and perhaps for the first time in many centuries - a higher proportion of men than women among real Christians. 

In other words; the same pro-social, conscientious and obedient personality traits that led women to be good Christians when the churches were strong, coherent and genuinely Christian - and led by men; have caused women to abandon Christianity - including even the pseudo-Christian churches led, whether officially or tacitly, by women. 

Women have become on average more leftist and materialist-atheist than men; because society is now dominated by materialist-atheistic leftism - and women's innate conformity and desire of peer group acceptance leads them to track these changes in society. 

Women's greater usage of (and addiction to) mass- and social-media has exacerbated what was already a strongly established pattern - since the peer group of women is now more powerfully virtual than real - and this peer group is monitored and controlled by the global powers of purposive evil. 

In place of the indomitable Babushkas, modern middle-aged and elderly women display extremely little courage in support of Christian ideals and living; because these are now disapproved by their peer group. They merely drift - expediently - towards whatever they feel will be most accepted by the dominant public discourse.

What were women's strengths are now women's weaknesses - their Achilles heel. 

They may aspire to the side of good - but under unrelenting, increasing, daily pressure from Authority to conform to evil: they drift. 

So, what Christian revival we are seeing (modest as it is) is now not just led-by, but participated-in, mostly by men. 

Which is something else new, and perhaps unprecedented, about these End Times.

Any medical intervention that has an effect but does not work - is harmful

Any medical intervention that has an effect but does not work - is harmful. 

This is something I understood many years ago, during my medical training, I don't don't think it has ever failed to be correct. 

Some medical interventions (aka. 'treatments')  don't seem to have any effect at all - and these are not necessarily harmful. 

But when a treatment does have an effect: that is, when a treatment affects the body's functioning - its physiology or biochemistry, for example; then it will be doing harm, unless that harm is outweighed by good. 

With any effective treatment, the question should always be about the balance of overall harm versus overall good in a particular person - or in a population.  

There are an 'infinite' number of ways of harming and killing the human body - but only a few ways of helping it. (Just as there are an 'infinite' number of ways of breaking an engine; but only some, few, specific ways of repairing it.) 

Therefore, most effective medical interventions that are intended to be treatments will actually harm. 

So, if an effective treatment does not work, does not provide overall benefit; then it will be harmful. It will merely disrupt physiology/ biochemistry - and thus body functioning. 

It is on these grounds that we can know that masking and pecking (which cannot be shown to provide significant objective benefit) are actually physically net-harmful. 

The legitimate question should not be 'whether these are harmful?' but how harmful are they? A little harmful, a lot harmful - or something in-between. 

Thus it is not appropriate to continue using medical interventions that have an effect but do no good, while supposedly gathering 'evidence' to discover 'if' they are harmful - because we already know they are harmful. 

The same in terms of psychology. Masking and social-distancing have an obvious effect on people's feelings and behaviours; but they do not work at preventing the spread of viral pneumonias. Therefore, they are harmful - overall, necessarily. 

We did not need (should not wait-upon) 'research' to 'prove' this harm; which means that 'research' itself is harmful - merely an excuse for continuing interventions, and an opportunity to mislead.

But there is a considerable difference between benefit-harm balance in populations and in individuals - and it is not necessarily or usually legitimate to generalize between individuals or between populations. 

These are deep waters; but the difference between personal and public is the basis for the old principle that treatment requires at least consent of the patient - since he is the one best able to appreciate harms to him-self. 

And also, it is behind the principle that medicine works best when it is the patient who initiates the consultation - who brings a 'complaint' to the doctor in hope that it can be alleviated. For example, a patient has a pain and seeks relief. 

Now of course, the situation can be and is manipulated by propaganda, advertising and other forms of psychological influence - patients can be made to want and ask for intervention when their complaint does not warrant it and they would not otherwise have sought help. 

And there is the potential confusion of the placebo effect that may occur with some kinds of complaint (although not all) - whereby a patient attributes improvement to an ineffective treatment. 

But when the 'public health' or 'preventive' imperatives become dominant - then the potential for harming individuals becomes almost unlimited. 

An intervention may be implemented for public/ social/ political reasons that (sooner or later) will harm every patient (or a large majority) - may be enforced. The patient then suffers all 'side-effects' and no benefit at all. 

Because, unwanted 'side effects' and harms from the individual patient's perspective may actually be wanted, core-effects from the point of view of those who are imposing the interventions - especially when those who speak for 'public health' have evil motivations or serve those with evil motivations - as now. 

When 'public health' trumps' personal well-being'; when mass interventions are initiated on healthy/ non-complaining patients for their supposed population benefit or for preventive reasons; then there is no limit to how much the health of individuals can be harmed.

Side effects

The term 'side effects' is nearly always misleading. Drugs and other interventions just have effects - some are wanted, others unwanted. Some 'treatment' effects are wanted by the patient; but other drug effects are wanted by the world government, Big Pharma, or health service managers - and these are usually un-wanted by the patients. This is why they get termed 'side effect's and minimized or denied.

Personal or population benefit

Some drugs have near zero benefit at the population level - depending on the population being studied; but a considerable effect on individuals - some of whom benefit and others of whom are harmed. This is due to the individual differences in the physiology of individuals (physiological variation) and by the fact that large and/or poorly controlled therapeutic trials (eg randomized trials) recruit subjects with a range of pathologies - some of which are helped by, and others worsened-by, the intervention. 

An example is the SSRI/ Prozac group of so-called 'antidepressant' drugs. These do not help - therefore they harm - in-patient hospitalized depressed patients (approximately 'endogenous' depression or melancholia) - which means they do overall harm in this group. 

They have approximately zero average effect on out-patient depressives; who have a range of 'neurotic' disorders with nervous symptoms of mood swings, anxiety, depression, phobia, obsessive symptoms etc - which means that they do net-harm in this group. 

However, the average effect includes a wide range of responses - some strongly positive, and others strongly negative (including the increased rate of suicides). Therefore, SSRIs do have significant beneficial effects overall on the target symptoms in some individuals within the 'out-patient depressive' group - and these individuals will experience net-benefit. Yet, the benefits in some patients with some problems are equaled (or, nowadays strongly outweighed due to gross over-prescription) in sub-groups with other core problems, or who do not respond to the wanted effect.  

Thus the same drug may do overall good, overall harm, or on average nothing - according to the make-up of the group being studied. This is an artefact of averaging a variety of individually different responses. 

And, as always, the actual individual receiving an intervention ought to take priority over the averaged effect in group studies - when the group is usually very heterogeneous (because researchers strive for large numbers of subjects - for statistical reasons; rather than maximal-control - for scientific reasons), and may be irrelevant to that individual.

Plus - and over-riding all the above - medical research has been for two or three decades almost wholly dishonest; and cannot be trusted for that reason! In the end - medicine ought to be about the individual except where public health considerations are so clear as to be obvious to common sense, or knowledge from research done in less-corrupt places and eras than here and now.

The erasure of individuality (including sexuality)

One overarching goal behind the sexual revolution is the erasure of sexuality - of the distinction between man and woman, male and female, and even gender identification. 

This goal explains the trajectory of the sexual revolution over the past several generations; and the extraordinary efforts of the Establishment to attack biology, tradition, Christianity and even plain functionality - when it comes to sexual identity. 

The idea of multiple, optional genders and 'pronoun' distinctions; the deletion of terms like mother, father, daughter, son; the obliteration of functional considerations from the military and sports; the mandatory dangerousness of medicine in which 'men' get pregnant and 'women' get prostate cancer ... all are just a step en route to the obliteration of any official reference to any sexual distinction at all. 

Because when each individual chooses 'its' own gender and pronouns - flexibly, daily, hourly? - each individual can only be regarded officially as an it. Each person has become a thing. 

We can infer from this how They - the demon-controlled, Establishment with their Satanic agenda - actually regard humans. As undifferentiated units to be manipulated, used, tormented for pleasure - and ultimately groomed to desire their own damnation. 

(An undifferentiated mass is ultimately how every other Being appears to the Devil; and how every other Being appears to each of the demons. It is the ultimate selfishness and pride. The distinction is between 'me', and everything-else; and everything-else should eventually be in my service. Thus 'me' wants everything-else to be an 'it', and to deny 'its' own sex and individuality.)

The very separateness of one human from another is another target. Hence all the emphasis on global unity and one government ('all in this together!'), anti-national mass migration sustained by antiracism/ anti-nativism...

More fundamentally - there is the ever broader and deeper 'internet of things'; all linked, monitored, controlled; and the extension into carriable, then wearable, then implantable devices to embrace humans - or part-humans/ part-devices -  within that surveillance and coordination web. 

And, if you are spiritual; there is a popular one-ness philosophy (incoherently extracted from Hinduism and Buddhism) that aims at loss of ego and individuality and thinking; and reabsorption into an undifferentiated unity (which is miscalled divine). 

'Love' is defined as absolutely universal and abstract; and self-erase-ingly 'altruistic' (while actual love between specific people - especially in families - is seen as childish and simplistic at best; at worst a type of evil leading to oppression and war).  

Mainstream Christianity has an Achilles heel when it comes to sex; since the influence of pre-Christian spiritual anti-materialist, Platonic paganism entered very early into theology; to imply that angels are sexless and that after resurrection Men are sexless - do not marry, do not reproduce. The fundamentals of sex and sexuality; of marriage and procreation (and from them, the specificity and particularity of love)  are therefore too often seen as merely temporary expedients of this (sinful) mortal life  

The underlying trend betrays the underlying intent; which is to ignore all distinctions and differences, and to insist upon treating all humans as identical subunits of a mass society - and to strip all subunits of self-awareness and agency. 

A goal impossible to attain, you might say? Yes, I would agree. It is metaphysically impossible, and a state of affairs that God would not allow. Nonetheless, the spirits of purposive evil pursue many impossible goals. They are, indeed, the stock-in-trade of evil. 

Erasure of the individual is an impossibility that may continually be approached, asymptotically, getting ever closer without ever arriving.

And in the process doing great evil; because so many Men have (via many different routes) come to embrace this goal of erasure. The millions of administrators and activists who support the trans agenda are part of this; indeed the mainstream leftism of many major national governments explicitly supports major aspects of the agenda; so many 'spiritual' people... so many self-identified Christians have been drawn into supporting this erasure - or at least confused and neutralized from opposing it with clarity. 

What to do? First, recognize evil by discernment. It seems very few are able or willing to do even this - because they find the idea of a world dominated by evil purpose to be intolerable. But such a world should not be intolerable to a Christian who has faith and therefore hope; who knows that the creator is a God who loves us - and whose creation is continuing for our personal ultimate spiritual benefit. 

Is mortal life a test, or an education?

Most Christians tend to regard this mortal life as a test - or rather as a series of tests. This is upside-down; because life is actually an education. 

Of course, an education will involve passing tests - but the over-arching reason for a (real) education is to learn new stuff, to develop abilities - to learn from experiences and thereby be raised to a higher level in the subject being studied. 

That is the purpose of mortal life - of living, developing, growing, and having the experiences which God brings to us by his arrangement of ongoing creation. Some of these experiences take the form of tests that we should overcome; but many other aspects of life are experiences from-which we may learn. 

Here is an analogy: I was at medical school and studied to pass tough exams; and I needed to pass these exams to qualify as a doctor. 

However, the educational aspect was primary. For example; spending the morning interviewing and examining patients, and then presenting a summary and conclusions to a more senior doctor. Or assisting with medical procedures or surgical operations. Or sitting next to doctors in clinics, watching what was done, asking and being asked questions. 

In other words; most of medical education was about having experiences and learning from them - and that was the real and positive purpose of the education. And the exams (the tests) were one type of experience; yet of a double-negative kind: I must not fail them. 

In sum - the first job of a good medical school is to provide students with experiences from-which they can learn to be a doctor if they take the opportunities offered. Also, in the end, it was necessary to pass the tests in order to proceed. 

Christians often fall-into a way of talking that seems to frame mortal life in the exam-like way: as tests that must not be failed. So, these end times were are going through, where apparently supernatural purposive evil dominates a world government, which rules all major social institutions aiming to make society a machine of damnation - may be described as testing-times; and a test which God has set us his children. It is said that we must pass this test to be allowed into Heaven.

I have myself described four Litmus Tests, by which we can discern which side a person or institution has taken in the spiritual war. This might be taken to imply that such Tests are 'set' by God; and that these times of trial are to be conceptualized as like exams for admission to Heaven.

Ultimately, this way of thinking leads to what I have called the double-negative theology which is all too common in Christianity, historically - with the idea that life is about avoiding damnation.

But the truth of our life situation is more more like the whole of education than a set of exams. An alternative and positive idea, is that of life as a chance for theosis; that God engineers our personal experiences such that we can learn from them - and this learning will be of value in our post-mortal eternal life in Heaven.  

So, these 'testing times of trial' should also be seen in the broader context of providing each of us - individually - with the personally-tailored experiences we could most benefit from - if we take the opportunities offered, and learn from them. 

And at the end of this life; it is also necessary to pass the 'test' of salvation - of being able to make an eternal commitment to Love and follow Jesus Christ - in order to proceed to Heaven.

Two ways of rightly understanding the birdemic and its pecks: bottom-up or top-down

Yes - but why?

There seem to be two ways in which people have reached a correct understanding of what is going-on with the birdemic and the mandatory peck campaign.

The first is to be a skeptical and independent-minded person with a gift of joining-dots, pattern-recognition and with a truth-and-coherence-seeking disposition; and then to do a lot of research, comparison and rigorous thinking. 

This is the bottom-up route - aimed at building an overall understanding by holding many facts and theories in-mind - and it is complex, hence open to few Men.

The other way of understanding the birdemic-peck accurately is to be a real Christian who is used to discerning evil. 

To be someone who acknowledges the reality of the devil and demons in this world - and who is able and willing to recognize their activities whenever they impinge. 

This is the top-down method - in which right-thinking and right choices are the goal; and understanding of the phenomena is not sought. 

The top-down method is simple, it is quick - and it is open to any Man who has chosen to love and follow Jesus. 

Why are modern people so indifferent to resurrection and eternal life?

Why are modern people so indifferent to resurrection and eternal life? Because they are all-but indifferent to the question of whether they might live eternally, and in great joy. Such indifference to life beyond death is (in world-historical terms) quite extraordinary, and invites explanation. 

But I know exactly the answer - from my own experience as an atheist through my childhood, youth and early adulthood. Men are indifferent to resurrection because eternal resurrected life is understood to be merely an endless continuation of mortal life - and mortal life is experienced as intrinsically purposeless, meaningless and disconnected. 

So deep is this experience of 'alienation' - of being a random thing in a material-causal world going nowhere; of 'it all' meaning nothing; of our-selves as merely transient patterns of information... So deep it is, that it constitutes far more than just a 'belief': This is the assumption and basis of our thinking and reasoning (our metaphysical understanding of reality), and therefore alienation is all-but inescapable. 

Modern Man thinks meaninglessness, purposelessness and alienation. It is not a conclusion from life experience, but the very texture of his inner experience, as it bounces back-and-forth between his mind and the world of public discourse, each resonating with the other.   

Modern Man therefore assumes that eternal resurrected life would be, must be, as arbitrary and futile as our mortal life - only it would be inescapable. Consequently, the usual 'hope' of modern man is for annihilation - nothingness; an end to suffering and the possibility of suffering; destruction of being (or, at least, of the conscious self). 

This is probably why modern Man is 'immune' to the core Christian teaching, as described in the Fourth Gospel - where it is made clear that Jesus came to bring Man eternal resurrected life in Heaven. 

That is the essence of Christianity - and when this essence has become incomprehensible, or is being understood only in reductionist, this-worldly and reduced terms - then Jesus is misunderstood by false and restricted concepts; concepts un-consciously derived from the assumption of our incoherent and hope-less modern mortal experience.  

How does predictive prophecy work?

I take some (but not most) prophecy - in the sense of prediction - seriously - as have almost all Men through history; therefore I need to understand how prophecy works. (I have written about this before.)

In a nutshell: a true prophecy tells us what God intends. 

Of course, Men are free agents, have 'free will', so God cannot compel any Man to make any particular choice. Nonetheless, since God is the creator, he can sooner or later make certain things happen - sooner or later events and decisions will line-up to make certain outcomes. 

This explains why it is seldom possible validly to put an exact date on prophesied true events. Because the date depends on the freedom of the agents involved in bringing about the prophecy, the achievement of the prophecy is affected by the cumulative effect of Men's choices. 

This also accounts for the well-known aspect of true prophecies - that they happen in unforeseen ways, such that they are recognized to have-happened only in retrospect. 

It also shows why true prophecies cannot be prevented from happening - because God (as creator) can (over time) find ways around anything that might tend to 'block' the prophecy. 

One problem of prophecy is the prophet himself; and from this the problem of communication. The prophet is a Man who will be - to some extent - fallible and sinful; so 'the medium' will affect the message. 

And the message itself - i.e. the prophecy expressed in language - will be subject to all the usual constraints of language: accurate expression and transmission, accurate interpretation and the psychology of the recipient etc...  

Therefore, the truth of prophecy cannot be sought in exact words and standard definitions; but needs to entail direct knowing; that process of heart-thinking or intuition by which we may be able to know directly and without mediation - by understanding forming in our minds. 

The actual event and words of the prophecy may, therefore, serve more like a stimulus or trigger to the directly-apprehending understanding. 

We read the true prophecy, and we gain understanding of it - but what has actually happened is that the words have opened us to direct knowing, and awakened our hearts to grasp it intuitively. 

A prophecy of humbling - but then spiritual revival - for Britain (made before the birdemic)

I post this prophecy from before the birdemic for you to exercise your discernment upon. I do so because I found it both thought-provoking and cheering. 

I am satisfied that both the 'prophet' - a pastor called Chris Wickland - and the host of this web site (Richard Barker) are decent and sincere men who have taken the right side in the spiritual war of these times. 

The podcast is probably the best way to get it; but here is an excerpt from the transcript:

Sadly, My own Church has failed to see how impoverished and how weakened she has become. She is literally now a remnant in this country. Yet I will do great things with a remnant...

Mark My words, punishment will come for the sins that have covered this land. But ... this punishment is not to destroy this nation. This punishment is to humble her and to chastise her, that she may repent of her wicked ways and turn back to Me. 

...I will bring Revival, but it will not be like any revival that has been before. It will be uncontainable; it will be uncontrollable; and the world will HATE it because it will be so strong and it will be so powerful that they cannot ignore it. ... 

Men will just drop into two distinct camps: those that love Me and those that absolutely hate Me. This is why in many respects these days are dangerous days, because it will polarize people, in ways stronger than they are now; but you will know the righteous and you will know the evil... 

Mark My words, I will do something wonderful with this country; I will restore law and order to this country. This country has become lawless and it has no more order to it... 

I am going to do a new thing. And many men will lay down their crowns and place down their swords before Me and repent and give their lives to me. And many powerful men and women who vehemently hate My name, will come to know Me and love My name. 

The very ones that brought in those [evil] laws, I will turn into trophies of grace to make the enemy despised in his own camp, for I will make those who passed those wicked laws be the ones that undo them, for they will reveal the secrets and the dark intent and heart of sinful wicked flesh. And the world or this country at least, will look on in horror at the things that they’ve released and allowed in this country, and they will be rescinded and retracted.

As you can see - this is a very precise prophecy. If some of the very same leaders who have introduced so many evil laws to this nation were publicly to repent, resign their power, and place themselves in God's service - then such an extraordinarily unlikely event should be very obvious.

If WmJas Tychonievich is allowed serially to update us on his silly dreams - I don't see why I should not be extended the same privilege.

One major reason I am such an early riser is that if I don't get out of bed I am afflicted by sillier and sillier, more and more annoying, increasingly repetitive dreams. 

Today, I nipped this in the bud by escaping what was shaping to be one of the silliest: a dream about a new UK national government campaign called The Great Enhorsement - which was intended to get more people to take-up horse riding. 

That's it. Make of it what you will - I shalln't. 

My time as 'an epidemiologist'

My 'career' was always unconventional, and by conventional criteria pretty unsuccessful in terms of promotions, power, prestige and financially! I spent a fair span of the middling period 'doing' epidemiology and public health - beginning in 1991, peaking in activity with three years as a lecturer in Epidemiology and Public Health (publications from 1993-7), and extending through approximately to the end of my editorship of Medical Hypotheses in 2010.

This period was very valuable in many ways - although as early as 1995 I moved towards a focus on (successively)  Evolutionary Psychology, Psychopharmacology, Systems Theory and then Intelligence and Personality.  

One thing I learnt was the increasingly monopolistic and dishonest leftism and managerialism of social science and medicine; which is now blatantly obvious with the birdemic, its response and the peck agenda. I experienced how rapidly science was moving away from truth-seeking and truth-speaking; and towards being absorbed into the administrative apparatus - driven by financial, official and careerist imperatives.  

I worked a couple of days a week in the NHS (National Health Service) - at two levels of seniority - and this was a revelation concerning how bureaucracies and managers operate; and their contrast with real science. I saw how policy flowed down from government; and was never challenged. How nothing ever was learned from experience. How discourse was dominated by coercion, bribery and propaganda. And how actual health and actual truth had no place at all in these considerations. 

As well as picking-up the foundations of basic, solid knowledge concerning infectious disease and epidemics; technically, I learned a great deal about understanding medical and health data - and distinguishing fundamental from superficial issues. 

In particular, I pursued a line of work on the nature of randomized controlled trials, and the use of very large data sets in medicine; which led me to to articulate (I think for the first time) the ineradicable problems and limitations of what was becoming (from 1994) overwhelming trend in health practice under the slogan of Evidence Based Medicine. 

In many way, being a professional epidemiologist/ public health physician was mostly a negatively salutary experience: certainly I was left with a very low opinion of the field and of its practitioners - especially of the most famous, influential and highly-regarded leaders and opinion-formers - especially in the UK (a horrible bunch of mediocrities, craven fools, psychopaths and political Quislings). 

All of which was excellent preparation for seeing-through the fakery of the birdemic, its response and 'the peck' and its programme; the reality of which was extremely obvious from an early stage and without any difficulty. 

I presume this extreme bogosity was also evident to many thousands of others with similar, or much greater, experience and knowledge of basic, solid epidemiology and public health than myself... 

Or rather; it would have been obvious had they not, long since, discarded personal responsibility; eagerly accepted the Big Lies of Leftism; embraced the expedient dictates of external authority; and consequently become unable and unwilling to think and reason coherently. 

What is the most important thing in life supposed to be?

The most important thing is life is supposed to be 'religion'. That is how Men are made - spiritually, and even biologically. Because biologically Men evolved in a religious world - and Men's responses, motivations, attitudes and behaviours were always calibrated by a religious environment. 

(I use the scare quotes around religion, because the term is so ill-defined, controversial and indeed tendentious - against Christianity; but you-know-what-I-mean.)

Men are made by God so that our lives are built-around and permeated by considerations such as God or the gods, the spiritual world around us -including matters of contact and communication with that world, life beyond death, the purpose and meaning of life so-considered... and so forth. 

If we look back at any pre-modern society; it is obvious that religion was (almost always, for almost everybody) the most important thing: it provided a multi-level and integrated perspective through-which all else was evaluated.  

After religion was incrementally deleted from both public life, and - in effect - from personal thinking (even among the self-described religious - due to the change towards materialism-positivism-and this-worldly ideologies) Mankind entered an unprecedented world in which there was no integration overall, and where meaning and purpose were confined to micro and specialized domains, short-termist, selfish and pulling apart. 

What took-over as the most important thing in life? Variously (in different times and places) national identity, leftist politics, sex and sexuality, money, status - and sometimes (briefly) idealistic devotion to work: arts, literature, science, scholarship... 

At first after religion there was an age - a generation or two - or idealism and ideology. Even sex was an ideology, for a short while - for normal sex in the 60s, for abnormal sex from the 80s... 

But always, soon, these ideologies became negative, oppositional, incoherent - and much weaker as motivators. None of these replacements for religion were sufficiently powerful, effective, coherent, deep-rooted or motivating. 

Until in 2020 - all ideologies, all utopian hopes (whether for sex-utopia, arts or sciences, for the residual rump of church Christianity - or for any positive ideas), were suddenly discarded; and the whole world of human aspiration replaced by a mass mindless, irrational, panicky, dependent, pathetic craving for short-term personal survival at any cost. 

There was no longer any compelling positive reason to live - but only negative reasons not to die, not to suffer...

Against this global, pseudo-unifying mass effect of fear (also fuelled by manufactured and false fear of climate change due to excessive CO2) - worked many individual and group negative resentments based on sex, sexuality, race, nation, church-religion etc.  

And this is where we are - now. One world system organized around negative motivators concerning the birdemic and climate change; which are Big Lies. And multiple fissile and hostile negative sub-motivators based mainly on race, ethnicity, religion and the other resentments of leftism. 

Absent religion; there is only one terminus, which is despair and the desire for death - which means, to the non-religious - wished-for annihilation of the self, of the soul. 

All because the most important thing in life must be religion. First that must be recognized and acknowledged as a fact. Then people must 'choose their religion'...

But this time choosing religion personally, from internal evaluations, without equating religion with any external assumed-authoritative 'church' (all major denominational churches having by now demonstrated unambiguously that they are a part of the religion-deleting, negative-system of evil).

How may someone choose their religion? On the basis of what is true - of course; but the process should probably start with asking "What would I most want to be true? Now - and, most importantly, forever."

Once that is known - we can begin work to establish whether our first idea of what we most want is really what we most want; and then whether it really is true by the profoundest intuitive evaluation we can discern.

An ongoing world system of mandatory multiple pecking/ implanting: The real choice about pecking

"The peck" is a misnomer - not only because "peck" includes many and different agents; but because what is at stake is not one, nor two, nor any specific number of pecks of any particular kind - but a world where mandatory pecking (and, we should presume, any other insertion of technological devices or substances) is simply part of 'life' - something that continues as often as the authorities wish and without end or limit. 

So "the" peck is doubly misleading. What is already at stake is that several interventions - with different methods, effects, and adverse effects -  are being talked of as if they were one; and as if it didn't matter which was given. This is clearly the case: despite differences, the authorities do not mind which peck is given so long as every person submits to pecking - as and when 'required'. 

Furthermore, the evidence is already obvious (and was knowable in advance) that the pecks are unnecessary, ineffective and harmful. This makes the escalating insistence upon them at best nonsensical, more accurately gross (unprecedented) malpractice, from a medical perspective. 

Yet if these pecks are understood merely paving the way for a system of continuous mandated pecking with... whatever the authorities decide should be inserted into humans... then the whole thing makes sense. 

"They" don't distinguish between different pecks because the focus is not upon the birdemic, but upon a establishing a new and invasive system of social control. The idea is that in future (i.e. the next few eeks) everybody should always accept whatever pecks They require - however many pecks, and pecks for whatever purpose. 

(Knowing what we (ought to) know about the people running the world; these purposes could plausibly include making specific people or populations sick in specific ways; and killing either individuals or masses in a deniable fashion - by multiple agents, or agents with multiple/ delayed lethal effects. And if you think this scenario is absurd, then I'm afraid you must either be ignorant or self-blinded by false assumptions.)

This is not my discovery, nor is this agenda anything new. David Icke, for example, has been telling us that exactly this is coming for a couple of decades. Such correct predictions are possible because the aimed-at destination is known. Pecking is interwoven with the global totalitarian New World Order agenda that goes back more than a century, with Agenda 2030, with The Great Reset, with the transhumanist agenda - and seems to be based upon the intention to make people into some kind of hybrid between Men and technology. 

The 'promise' would be that this envisaged 'world-of-pecks' would be good for human happiness, health and functionality. But the genuine yet covert intent would be surveillance and control of human behaviour (and ultimately, They believe, human thinking) - and the actual effect of multi-pecking on human happiness, health and functionality is of little or no interest. 

The birdemic peck provides us with an example of what is coming - if They are able to follow Their plans. We can already perceive from the fact that the peck is in-practice unnecessary/ ineffective/ harmful - yet They still want to force it upon everybody in the world; that They are indifferent or hostile to human happiness, health and functionality. 

This fact ought to tell us a great deal about Them and Their motivations. And warn us of what They would be intending to do with unlimited ability to inject/ insert/ implant whatever They wanted into human bodies. 

The intent is that They will unilaterally decide how (and how much) to modify Our bodies; and We will accept whatever They insist-upon, gratefully.

Now - I do not believe that the transhumanist project is possible - in particular I do not believe that human thinking can be monitored or controlled by technology. That idea is just an erroneous consequence of materialist modelling, that ignores such primary realities that real thinking is spiritual in nature, and a 'product' of our real self which is divine. 

Thinking just isn't the kind of thing that can be monitored or controlled. 

But crude kinds of surveillance tracking bugs, or drug/ hormone manipulations could be accomplished by 'injectable' agents and technology. Pain could be inflicted, disease encouraged. 

As we are seeing with the birdemic peck; increased mass suffering and deaths could easily be imposed, sometimes deliberately, at others due to stupidity and incompetence. 

My point here is that the decision we are confronted-with Now is not between getting 'the peck' or not. The choices will not stop here. This is just the first of many choices. 

The eventual choice is about whether we agree to a long-term system of mandatory, imposed, continuous pecks for multiple reasons and regardless of their effect. 

That is where we are being led - step by step. They want Us to want that kind of world - want Us to agree that would be a necessary and Good way of living for everybody in the world to submit to... whatever They say is Good for Us. 

"The" birdemic peck is only the first of many steps. But we need to remember that this is a spiritual war, a war over souls; and Their objective is to make people reject salvation and choose damnation. 

In principle, as totalitarians ruling a compliant materialist/ atheist/ leftist mass population, They could forcibly impose any evil on anybody. But their goal is to make people want evil. 

That is why the birdemic peck is the first step. If the people can be induced into wanting that which is unnecessary/ ineffective and harmful just on the say-so of an Establishment-media that is known to be evil. And to want this imposed everywhere, on everybody and forever - and whatever.

If that stuff can become desired by Men - then those Men are damned. 

But those who perceive the truth of 'what is going-on' and withhold their consent from being recruited-into this plan and onto the side of evil; have already defeated this strategy of evil in themselves. 

Note: Just because the world-of-universal-endless-pecks is planned, does not mean that it will happen. It may never happen, it may not happen everywhere, it may not happen soon. For that reason even merely delayed compliance is important - especially when delay is extended and extended. Plus - every act of delayed compliance to evil itself requires the evil system to expend more resources, and creates thereby more difficulty and inner tension - it weakens evil a little. So if in doubt - delay, delay, delay.
