I think They've lost control...

Always one to discuss my groundless hunches - here's the latest...

I get the feeling that something has stalled The Plan. Now, I'm not very sure what The Plan was - in particular I am not sure how far it was meant to go: whether to total collapse of The System and mega-death; or to a point short of that, where a hi-tech elite was maintained to run a totalitarian system of omni-surveillance and micro-control.

But it all seemed to be unrolling incrementally, pretty-much everywhere at almost the same time; until a few days ago.

But now, I sense a kind of stalling; and uncertainty. Whatever The Next Step was supposed to be, it does not seem to have happened - it is a few days overdue.

It may be that there is an internal dispute among The Global Establishment - perhaps exactly about how far things are supposed to proceed. Or a fight between the Bosses and the lower-level minions (who each have different interests and motivations)... I don't know - but I think things have been derailed for a while, for some reason.

Something (bad) will certainly happen again soon; and I don't know what - but it is encouraging to believe (if it's true) that it did not happen exactly according to plan; that it is a bit later, a bit slower, less successful in some way.

After all, we know very little of the material factors at work here; and almost nothing of the spiritually causal factors; to which each and all of us are potentially able to contribute - by direct and unstoppable means.

As I have said before,Occam's razor: incompetence. The Technocracy has no idea what it is doing, but power just consumes more power.

@jas - Occam's razor is an anti-scientific assumption, and I was a lifelong scientist - so I prefer to know the truth about stuff.

"The day will bring hope for me," said Aragorn. "Is it not said that no foe has ever taken the Hornburg, if men defended it?"

"So the minstrels say," said Éomer.

"Then let us defend it, and hope!"

Prayer is the best weapon we hobbits have, friends.

I hate to pile on @jas, but I've found Occam's Razor is used mostly be people with whom I am on the opposite side of issues. It seems to be used mainly as a way of short-circuiting fruitful lines of reasoning and speculation. And yes, speculation is good when undertaken by good men with good minds who seek truth.

This was definitely a Plan meant to do Something.
On the local level here, the plan is wreaking havoc. But at the same token, in rural areas like I live, there is a certain amount of independence from the System. People literally have gardens, farms, livestock, grow grain, etc.

I am no longer a supporter of any politician or system, but I sense that Trump and others are pushing hard to support the notion that the "cure" is worse than the "disease." They are quickly being proven to be correct, and those who shut down everything over this will be shown to be fools.

I expect chaos, but not the exact kind that our evil overlord's wanted.

But what do I know? I'm just an IT guy.

It may have something to do with the #FilmYourHospital trending. The Establishment are realizing that small numbers of people are beginning to call them on their bluffs and are using the Palantir against them.

That said, I agree that things are only getting stalled, not reversed. In the past two weeks we've not so much passed the point of no return as much as we've crossed the Event Horizon.

Evil will eventually lose in the end, but not without a staggering amount of collateral damage.

From my observations of social media, people seem fully aware that this is potentially a power grab and that WHO/UN are behind it. It's part of the public discourse.

I'm feeling optimistic.

I would hope it's because it is more difficult to stay the hands of honest people involved in efforts to deal with the crisis, however overblown, without tipping conspiratorial hands.

My guess is that this was supposed to be a dress rehearsal for the real crackdown, and what was unexpected was that it got more compliance than they were anticipating. So there is a push to make it the real thing, especially since there is a realization that things have been pushed too far and can't be walked back to pre-2020, which was the original intention.

The Truth is... you are still looking to be validated by external influences. Temporary and fleeting. This blog, for instance. If you really want to get down to truth, we always require that somebody is 'on our level', another individual supports us and validates us as an individual. It will never make sense. It is not possible....Another individual makes me recognise that I am an individual....

Or as you like to romantically say, 'An outsider'. Takes one to recognise one and therefore you are never an outsider. Simple maths should you choose to assess it that way.

A colleague of mine used to tell students "Nature does not shave with Occam's Razor". I think he'd been told that in his turn.
