I had to do a quick double-take there. For just a moment, I had thought that you had them backwards.
Nope. You have it right.

@Crow - I'm glad you didn't make that mistake - I am always very careful with labelling photos.

Which is more than can be said about some people on YouTibe - here someone makes the ludicrous error of labelling Rowan Williams first introduction to Lambeth Palace as 'Catweazle'!:

All he's got going for him now is his looks. Bishop Katharine Jefferts, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, has stolen his thunder as a theologian. Contra St. Paul, diversity rather than Jesus saves.

@D - Yes, I spotted this as well! Really, KJS is light years beyond parody; but more worryingly, so are several major world leaders.

At one level this is a consequence of dumbing-down, but at another level the opposite it is a result of not-enough dumbing-down (simplifying).

In other words, the over-promoted society.

The worst of possible worlds is those who ought to be at the level of nursing sisters (senior nurses) like KJS pretending to be intellectuals; and intellectuals like RW pretending to be geniuses.

But if we don't understand something, we can't use it (or, at least, we can use it only until it breaks or needs changing).

So Christianity must be made as simple as it needs to be for people to use it in their lives - to live it - and obviously this means that there must be at least several (parallel) denominations or styles for different types of people.
