This is some terrific clog dancing; which is a folk dance style found in the Northern counties of England (as well as other places).
For me (not a great appreciator or knower of dance), and in smallish doses; this is one of the most enjoyable forms of dancing - so varied, and exciting in its moves and rhythms.
Presumably this style of dancing arose because working class people used to wear this type of leather and wooden clogs with metal studs on the soles; in everyday circumstances.
Indeed, my mother wore clogs, including for school; living in a pit village of Northumberland in the 1930s.
The young woman in the video is from Lancashire - on the west side of the north country.
