Symbolic leaders: able, drooling, or crazy puppets

We know (ought, by now, to realize) that our leaders are puppets - but not all the same kind of puppet. 

The point is distraction - to have everybody looking-at and discussing the puppet - rather than noticing (or even asking!) who is people pulling its strings. 

Distraction can take many forms. Some are constructed as "strong" puppets - pseudo-competent, attributed with ability. Such a puppet may even be intelligent and hard-working as a person - but is still a puppet. 

Other leaders are constructed as incompetent, naïve, ignorant, or drooling idiots. We observe the incapacities and dysfunctions; empathize or mock the human wreckage; agonize about what is to be done. 

Others act the role of a crazy - firing-off opinions, assertions, threats, promises. People are confused, encouraged to try to make sense of it all - become enmeshed in discerning the puppet's strategic from his reactive nature - and so forth. 

Many kinds of puppet are possible; and the person deployed as puppet may be more or less convincing his role - may even really be what he is depicted as!

This doesn't much matter, because the point is distraction; and the totalitarian media collude in evoking, amplifying, and sustaining this distraction.

Since distraction is primary; it can work equally well to have a beloved and admired heroic puppet; or a hated and demonic puppet - or to alternate between them.  

Thus the job is done.  

It's a very flexible system! 

In some places leadership puppets are constantly being replaced; and that business takes-up a great deal of here-and-now attention and energy. 

In others, the puppet replacement is less frequent, and there is a long narrative attached to the process. 

In others, the puppet is supposedly permanent - and the debate is about whether rule by a long-term puppet is an unjust and intolerable imposition.  

Of course, when there is a puppet, then there are puppet-masters - those who choose the puppet, and pull the strings. 

Which means that the real societal power struggle is not between puppets, but between alliances of puppet masters. 

For the puppet masters, the advantages of puppet rulers are so great that they collude to maintain the public pretence that the puppet is "in charge"; and that policy U-turns and contradictions are due to changes of the puppet's mind, or corruption of the puppet.

(eg. When a drooling idiot is the puppet leader; then nobody asks - nobody with power, anyway - who chose that leader; and who was ruling when the leader was acknowledged incapable of doing so.) 

When we see self-contradiction, and unimplemented policies and the like; what is actually happening is that one masters-alliance has grabbed the strings and imposed control and pursue their agenda - only for another alliance to wrest the strings away, then make the puppet say or do... something else.

All of which public discourse attributes to the nature and motivation of the puppet. 

In sum; the puppets are, at most, superficial froth on the surface; while the direction of water flow is the product of puppet-master activity; and tidal changes of direction are a consequence of different groups of puppet masters in covert conflict, different of their parties achieving temporary dominance. 

All US Presidents are now Big Liars because they are all themselves A Total Lie

The US President is - and leaders of all Western-orbit nations are and long-have-been an intrinsic lie - a lie in-and-of themselves - consequently we observe that they are all untruthful all the time and about everything. 

It is several or many cycles since the US President has been anything more substantial than (to put it kindly) a puppet; more accurately a human autopen - when it comes to the issues regarded as important by those who hold the real material power of this world.  

If this wasn't obvious by the contrived election and four-year term of a dementia victim; then it is surely obvious now. 

The "President" has presided over two gratuitous war-acts of gross wickedness (and, for what little it's worth nowadays, treachery and illegality) - first against the Fire Nation the second against modern Zoroastria. Either (but especially the first) might well have, and I believe were intended to, precipitate all out world war.

And this outcome is very might a live and continued possibility. 

And it is clear either that the President foreknew and approved, and lied about this at the time; or did not know or approve beforehand, and then lied about that. 

And either way - the operations originated before the President, were conducted by other persons and institutions; and would very probably have happened whether or not Presidentially approved. 

Both of these supremely significant events were planned and executed on a timescale which spans US Presidents, and in collaboration with institutions of other "nations" -- and the planning, execution and decision to implement were very clearly indifferent to whoever might currently be acting the role of US President. 

So, for those who are actually making and executing these supremely significant plans - why bother with a President at all? 

Well, we can see the reason - in that the vast news and social media coverage and discourse is almost-exclusively about... the US President: what he has or has not said and done; what decision he may or may not make; whether he approves or not... and the rest of it.

(We have often seen the same puppet show focused on UK and EU "leaders" wrt each increment of the Western-derived anti-Fire Nation escalations over the past three years.)  

In this media circus; the US President plays a role analogous to the proxy-nations used by The West (= US = ultimately the demon-serving globalist-totalitarian Establishment) in warfare. 

I mean proxy-nations such as CHOAM or the corn-growing Western region of the Fire Nation. These nations have been armed, trained, equipped, and resourced to go to war against current enemies of the globalist totalitarians - to take the bulk of battle casualties, provide a focus for retaliation, and absorb most of the damage. 

And in process, often be destroyed as (even potential) nations. 

US Presidents, British PMs, EU Presidents and the like are in a closely analogous position. 

As proxy agents in the war of demonic evil against God and Creation, such pseudo-leaders may be rewarded lavishly in the short-term - but ultimately they are disposable tools; that will inevitably (later if not sooner) be disposed-of. 

So why do these pseudo-leaders make so much noise; why lie all the time and about everything? 

Why don't they just shut up? 

Well, firstly in order to serve as a focus. 

A focus for idealism, discourse, and dissent - just as the nation proxies and their "leaders" are admired and loathed, praised and criticized, sympathized-with and blamed - for doing... whatever it is that their totalitarians masters tell them to do.

We all keep our eyes on the puppets and their antics, seldom asking who is working them.  

More extremely, these leaders are like mass media commentators; whose job is to observe whatever happens, and cheer it or boo it according to editorial instructions. 

They have no control of what is happening, and indeed are often not even officially informed of what has happened - but they passionately desire to sustain the illusion that they are significant. 

So they lie. They pretend that they have personal power over the most significant events - when in reality they are victims of these events...

The most expert politicians are like surfers, riding the breakers of whatever is happening - but nobody with sense would suppose that the surfer actually makes the ways - whereas a majority are deluded that the US President is the ultimate wave-maker.  

Meanwhile; those with real power are willing to let Presidents act Presidential roles; and provide them with the needful pomp and circumstances; because the real-rulers put the Presidents in place to do exactly this. 

Sometimes a President knows explicitly that a puppet-role is what he does and must do; sometimes (apparently) a President convinces himself he is a real and significant origin of power. 

The inverted-beauty of the scheme is that it works either way!

Whether the President is a sincere fool, a conceited bloviator, or a self-aware and evil-embracing slimeball - doesn't matter to the effectiveness of the system. 

So long as people are looking at, talking-about, and treating seriously the cut-out cardboard-leader - then they aren't thinking about and recognizing the reality of a world so deluded that we never even ask who is making the major decisions - and what They really want, what Their motives really-are. 

Note added: These thoughts were crystallized by some of the analysis of Brian Berletic at the New Atlas vlog channel. BB's analysis is (I believe) correct at the supra-national geopolitical level - but he does not consider the ultimate spiritual war of this world; therefore his understanding of the ultimate motivations of geopolitical power is incorrect. 

Schadenfreude derangement syndrome

The current orgy of Schadenfreude continues to escalate - energized a few days ago by a staged, acted and broadcast PR pseudo-spat over the Fire Nation war; a news-event which has been uncritically accepted at face value, and thereby ecstatically celebrated, by (apparently) hordes of people; individuals who, just a few weeks ago, expressed deep scepticism over the machinations of mainstream politics and the mass media. 

Yet another Litmus Test massively failed! 

It is becoming clear that the double-negative agenda is alive and well, dominating and sweeping-aside what has thereby been revealed as a shallow, feeble, self-gratifying, and this-worldly Christianity.   

Double-negative values are a hallmark of The Left - which is united only by its opposition to (ultimately) God and divine creation. 

The self-identified political "Right", including advocates of an imaginary and impossible "nationalism", have recently come-out as crypto-leftists - which, indeed, is the inevitable convergence of all primarily this-worldly and double-negative ideals.

In sum: The Right is united only by its rejection of The Left (i.e. particular-labelled individuals and institutions) - such that the only powerful source of Right triumphalism is when their Left-identified enemies appear to be getting humiliated and destroyed. 

(Note: In our world, all is of-the-left - except where religion is put first - and where that religion is motivationally-rooted beyond this world). 

There is a strong lure in religion that seems to combine success and status, power and prestige, pride and self-esteem, progress and historical inevitability, with aspects of real Christianity that is "not of this world". 

The proposed syncresis of this and next-world benefits appears in many guises through history - and dominates much of online Christian discourse; which is the reason behind current ecstasies of virtual Schadenfreude. 

The "prosperity Gospel" is indeed much more widespread than its crudest evangelists: the idea that the path to economic, or sexual, success lies via Christianity is a very popular and influential one online. 

Of course, Christianity must and should be-of-this-world as well as the next: not least because the incarnation and mortal life of Jesus Christ is evidence of this. 

In other words our mortal lives have purpose for as long as they are sustained by God. So a retreat from The World is not even a theoretical option for Christians - we must and should engage. 

But... in a civilization and society so completely built upon materialism and the denial of the spirit; in a world dominated by corrupt, and demonic-allied, institutions; it ought to be perfectly clear and evident that goodness cannot, therefore will not, emanate from, nor be gifted top-down by, those with institutional and official power/ wealth/ social status.  

It ought to be evident that politico-media-events intended to demonstrate the humiliation or destruction of people, organizations, nations - are not going to be evidence of, nor harbingers of, goodness. 

Indeed, the likely reality behind the façade of apparent destruction is not even difficult to discern for those with a bit of accurate knowledge who stand-back from the contrived frenzy - even when these people have no religious basis. 

(In a geopolitical world of puppet leaders; the spectacle of one puppet berating another for the cameras, should be obvious as what it is: a puppet-show.)  

The spiritual war of this world is essentially about "hearts and minds" - and the great aim of the various factions of evil is not to impose physical/material slavery or misery; but to induce individuals to choose to commit themselves (hearts and minds) to one or another of the agendas of evil. 

Evil is only spiritually effective when it has been freely embraced. That is why our enthusiasm, support, and hope; are so assiduously cultivated by The Establishment. 

And that embrace of evil is precisely what we are observing, in real time, on a day-by-day basis. People who were, until recently, apparently Christian; are changing sides; abandoning salvation as their primary goal -- 

And instead they are committing more and more of their support, energies, enthusiasm, efforts (and, worst of all, hopes) on what is at root a negative, destructive, demon-motivated agenda. 

Demonically mind-controlled zombies as national leaders

The phenomenon of the UK Prime Minister Theresa May is very interesting, and perhaps deeply significant. Of course, I only know about her whatever the mass media chooses to put in my direction; but what that is quite extraordinary, and indeed impossible. 

What seems to be the situation is that someone without leadership qualities, incompetent, utterly lacking in charm and charisma - whom everybody dislikes and wants gone (I mean, all the power blocs - her party and the opposition; the mass media and the civil service; upper, middle, working and under- class: Brexiteers and Remainers; Atheists and real Christians; the EU and the US and teh Commonwealth... everybody) - yet she stays in power, month after month, year by year... 

From what I see in the media, she seems to be a literal zombie - dead-eyed, shambling, tragically miserable; shuffling around from place to place moaning and gibbering. It is a pitiful sight - until you realise that she is all the time clinging to power with unyielding tenacity, meanwhile systematically demoralising and destroying.

But the important question is: What keeps her functioning (albeit barely)?

(And She Is Not Alone among the leadership of great powers - because Hillary Clinton and Angela Merkel are copies in the essentials, and there are many others at lower levels and earlier degrees of corruption.)

How can this 'impossible' situation be sustained? So far as I can tell, with so many and such overwhelming dis-advantages, there must be some extremely powerful forces that want Theresa May to hold-onto the premier leadership position in Britain.

This is the crux of my argument: Since no powerful Theresa May supporters are visible, they must be occult, hidden, behind-the-scenes. There must be decisively powerful, forces and influences that are off-the-radar. Further, since there are no observable mechanisms by which TM is maintained in operation; I assume the methods must be suprasensory, supernatural - again 'occult'.

What I am implying is that with TM (and her like) we may be observing the actuality of rule by demonically mind-controlled zombies.

Why middle aged, mediocre, middle manager women like TM, HRC and AM? Because - I assume - these are the easiest to mind-control. Apparently, their combination of inability and ambition, and their lack of a strongly agent 'self', makes them especially willing to do a 'deal' with the demons - yielding control to attain power.

Such women are very far from ideal as puppet leaders - because they can't lead; but they are demonically the most controllable, which presumably is the decisive factor. And the demons take care of the rest of it. 

The personal cost of this channelling of evil is very horrible to behold; it takes a toll on human flesh and mind - which all can see, even though very few people realise what is going-on. The body may be nearly dead, but the remnants are externally activated and energised by the forces of evil - so that basic functionality is retained far beyond what one would have supposed possible.

At times, during the 2016 Presidential Election, HRC looked and behaved like a crude and primitive remote-controlled robot - but so corrupted are the Godless and cowardly Western populations at this point; that tens of millions of people regarded her as a suitable even wonderful, person to lead their nation - and presumably the same applies to AM.

But with TM, it seems that the humans are not fooled. So we have the bizarre spectacle of a mind-controlled zombie operating without visible means of support.

In most past societies, the demonic fingerprints would have been obvious, and remedial action taken - but with modern materialism and the elimination of better alternatives, the British are merely bewildered.

What we see makes no sense; but the real answer is ruled-out a priori, by unknown and denied metaphysical assumptions - and so the macabre charade continues...

So-called "AI" (Artificial Intelligence) is a case of "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain"

Because so-called AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a top-down-imposed, totalitarian Establishment imposed, lying fake; it is always a product of some or another "man behind the curtain" (or institution behind the curtain) - someone who is trying to distract attention from himself and deny responsibility for whatever AI is trying to do. 

And what AI is trying to do - the reason for its existence, the reason it is being coercively implemented by multiple social institutions and puppet-leaders all across The West - is overall and by intention evil... of various types and kinds. 

Sometimes the evil is exploiting society in a parasitic fashion for money, security, power, lust etc. 

Sometimes it is to create helplessness, passivity, fascinated horror; or to sow fear, resentment, despair.

Sometimes the evil is to destroy that which is Good - the true, beautiful or virtuous. 

Sometimes the evil is in destroying life itself, divine creation - or what it is to be human. 

And overall AI is part of the demonic strategy of damnation to induce people to go along with, accept, defend, argue-for, and finally embrace these evils. 

Because, in the end, to be damned, we each must choose damnation. 

So, whenever confronted by AI, in theory or in practice; ask yourself who is the being behind the curtain of technology; and ask yourself what evil that being is attempting to induce you to do to yourself.  

Western national (and corporate) leaders are analogous to TV Newsreaders

A recent convention of European Newsreaders

When you read about a summit meeting between the Presidents and other nominal leaders of the Western nations; try thinking of it as a staged meeting of TV Newsreaders. 

For instance; POTUS is, in essence, Newsreader-in-chief for national politics. 

When you vote for a politician, you are choosing who shall be the dominant Newsreader, for the next few years. 

When a President (or CEO) gives a speech about some new strategy or policy, she is operating as a Newsreader. 

A Newsreader is not altogether powerless, because she can inflect the words with (e.g.) sarcasm or enthusiasm, and can interject a few ad libs. 

But whatever the spoken words, her power over events is so very tightly-constrained by her puppet-masters as to be ignorable. If she says anything that interferes with strategy in a significant way; she will be removed. 

And, typically, we don't know their identity. 

What we see, what we are allowed to see and encouraged to regard as primary, is nothing more than the interactions of Newsreaders.

All in The West must take the side of evil (Nobody is allowed to be neutral - not even a bit)

True neutrality with respect to any question concerning values is not a possibility, and never has been; yet degrees of 'official' neutrality used to be conceded, and commonplace - as pragmatic realities in public life. 

While every person and nation will almost-inevitably take sides over any particular question - at least overall, and to some degree - it used to be allowed that people and nations could stand-apart from conflicts, and remain un-declared. 

Even during the massive conflict of World War II, there were several neutral counties in the heart of the conflict (Switzerland) or on its border (Spain, Sweden). 

And, as recently as a couple of decades ago; it used to be quite normal for people or nations to opt-out of taking sides on questions of value in public life. 

This is no longer allowed in The West; because the powers on the side of evil are now dominant, their evil is more advanced; and They have forbidden neutrality. 

Each and every person (with no allowed exceptions) must now - publicly and with a display of enthusiasm - actively participate in celebration and promotion of Litmus Test issues relating to sex, sexuality, antiracism and so forth. 

All must take the side of evil (called good, in the official system of Western inverted-values) - or be attacked as an enemy. 

Anyone - any single individual - who opts-out and tries to be neutral in any of the Litmus Test issues; may be punished by the full force of global media and public opinion mobilized against them; exclusion from work, removal of financial services, demonization of status - and many other possible punishments (officially imposed, and unoffically allowed and encouraged), without limit to severity or duration.  

We are seeing the same phenomenon in relation to the Fire Nation* war. No Western nation has been allowed to remain neutral on this issue - even Switzerland and Sweden have been compelled to abandon long term principles of neutrality. 

Furthermore, active participation in the war is also being compelled - until recently by participation in war-sanctions. And currently by mandatory military participation through sending weapons to the battlefront. 

And this military participation must be done publicly, proudly; and backed with explicit aggressive statements. 

Presumably the next step will be sending military personnel from all nations - with no opt-out allowed. 

This is not about military effectiveness - because from such a perspective it makes no sense. It is about ideological - hence spiritual - allegiance. 

Western nations are being compelled into active support for an open-ended campaign aimed at existential annihilation of the Fire Nation; either its destruction, fragmentation, or vassalage. 

Nations are being forced (by their puppet-'leaders') into making themselves existential enemies - not only of the FN, but of an alliance that (increasing month by month) includes the two most populous nations in the world, and indeed most of the world's population and land mass. 

Those who do not paint a target on their own backs by choice (like the UK did thanks to its cravenly-servile US-obedient leadership); will have it done for them, at the point of a sword.

In other words; the ideology of annihilation of the Fire Nation serves as yet-another factor in the suicidal self-destruction of The West - and all its (compelled-) allies, such as the North East Asian vassal-states of the USA, who are now actively and rapidly being prepared to operate as agents of their own destruction. 

In sum, underneath the cover of fake Geopolitical reasoning and led by the dominant Western power; the whole world is being set-up for an all-inclusive world war - the first ever - which will be sustained for as long as possible, and with as much all-round destruction as possible. 

Such a war will (if it happens) serve the dual purpose of lethally damaging Western civilization, and doing something similar to all those who - in any way - dissent from the Western-leftist-atheist-materialist ideology of the globalists. 

 

For a Christian; the vital matter is to recognize and remember that this is primarily 'just' the latest and biggest material manifestation of the long-established spiritual war; and that we need to discern and understand what is really going-on in terms of ultimate spiritual values. 

Not, therefore, to become distracted by merely proximate, materialist explanations of the war in terms of Geopolitics, economics, or even of ideology. 

These are merely means to an end; because evil is about damnation, that is about spiritual and eternal death - therefore not only, nor mostly, about physical death.

A self-destroying weapon of global destruction. (This Sorathic World!)

Our actual and current Western Globalist Totalitarian Establishment is already, and every week increasingly, a self-destroying weapon of global destruction. 

The self-gratifying, spitefully evil-destructive zeal of the Western ruling class has consolidated, taken-off, and left the consent of the masses far behind. 

This spirit of spite is single-mindedly getting-on-with its destructive activities - with less and less regard for winning hearts and minds, or even for providing excuses.

Its implied motto is: Just Destroy It.  

(That is: Sorathic evil is now unmasked and in ascendancy.) 

The USA is not the ultimate source of this evil of destructiveness, because the US rulership are (like all other Western nations) merely a puppet regime. 

Also the US has many (sometimes even more zealous - eg. the UK) allies among the leadership class of Anglo-sphere and European Union nations.

But the USA is the main centre and focus of the destructive impulse; due to its recent decades of global hegemony.

US foreign policy is now simply to foment disorder and destruction wherever possible. 

National leaders and governments are being toppled, imprisoned, and killed by purposive US interventions all around the globe. Movements to promote internal hatred, resentment and terrorism are created, supported, funded. Nation after nation has been - is being - plunged into chaos and (more or less) civil war (more every month, or even weekly). 

This is why the US Empire and military is now (by any functional or rational analysis) so grossly over-extended. 

Picking unwinnable fights everywhere and with everybody is not an accident or miscalculation, nor due to unwarranted arrogance (except among some of the useful idiots among destruction-managers, who merely implement policy) - over-extension is a deliberate means to the end of the USA being utterly overwhelmed, destroyed, everywhere, all-at-once. 

(And consequently, it is also intended, in its death throes to bring-down the rest of the world with its arsenal of mass-destructive weapons, poisons, diseases etc.)  

The essence of the US globally is now, and increasingly, and purposively to operate as a pure agent of destruction: destruction of human life, economies; material, houses, the land itself. 

Deliberate destruction indeed of all that is Good - destruction of the human spirit. 

And also - destruction of itself from multiple global conflicts. 

Because meanwhile, "back at home", this once-formidable agent of global destruction is itself being destroyed. The culture is being destroyed by colossal immigration, which also (aided by deliberate inflation) is destroying the economy - which has already been destroyed by multiple forms of wrecking. 

The US national spirit is being destroyed by leftist ideologies - including deliberate encouragement and funding of  race war, sex war, generational war. Religion has been destroyed as a force for good. 

The micro-policies that pretend to promote quality, equity, diversity, sustainability etc - are each and all calculated agents of destruction of functionality, effectiveness, efficiency. 

The means of national social control (policing, essential organization, emergency services, communications, transport, supplies, maintenance and repair etc) are all thereby already substantially dismantled. 

Chaos - violence, neglect, disease, famine (all the Apocalyptic Horsemen) are being-prepared, and wil be able to operate without effective opposition. 

What this Big Picture shows is the extraordinary image of the US as a self-destroying weapon of global destruction. 

The US (and its allies) being simultaneously deployed in an escalating program of world-wide destruction; while the US (and its allies) are also being-collapsed from-within.  

The worst of it is not so much that this catastrophe cannot be prevented (it probably cannot - because destruction is so much easier than creation, and humans are so easily corrupted); as that people are unaware of what is being done.

Indeed, much worse - people of The West nearly all deny that this purposively destructive evil exists, and is dominant.  

Above all else in these times, and as a pre-requisite to everything else; we are called upon to be conscious. To be aware, capable of discernment. 

Only if we perceive evil can we identify its nature; only if we identify its nature can we reject it and repent its existence in ourselves. 

Only if we repent this evil can we take the side of Good in the escalating spiritual war of this world. 

The example of Russia?

I am no expert on Russia, and (apart from their Orthodox Church) I do not envy the Russian 'lifestyle'; nonetheless it seems clear that - by some indices that I consider to be a reasonable marker of the vitality of a civilization - Russia has probably turned a corner and reversed their decades-long civilizational decline.

All this can be summarized by the single statement that Russia is the only powerful European- (or semi-European-) based civilization which is not in the grip of political correctness.

(I here use the term 'the West' so as not to include Russia - Russia has historically been semi-Western, with trends towards and away from the West. At present, the dominant Russian trend seems anti-Western.)

Of course, passing the piracy test of itself does not necessarily mean that a nation's survival system is intact - since toughness to pirates could be due to something like cruelty or an out-of-control military.

Nonetheless, a nation that is so morally-inverted as to fail the piracy test (and all Western nations are failing) is surely doomed - since the necessity to suppress piracy really is basic stuff.

And if anyone (whether person or nation) cannot understand this immediately and without confusion or ambiguity, then they are (I am sorry to say) objectively a moral cesspool.

2. The Russian birthrate has stopped declining and is now rising. I am not sure, but I think that this is happening among native Russians, and among the social leaders. A few more years will make things clearer.

Any nation with a seriously sub-replacement and declining fertility among its elites is doomed.

3. Of course, the Russian economy is growing - and this growth seems to be real (as contrasted with the last decade and a half of pseudo-economic growth in most countries - a merely on-paper growth which is actually based on increased borrowing and concealed inflation).

4. And the cause of all this? - a strong and officially sanctioned Orthodox Christian revival among the Russian elites.

The levels and effects of binge-type alcohol abuse seem to be beyond anything found elsewhere except ex-hunter gatherer groups; yet this is probably self-curing, in the sense that the death rate from alcohol is so high that those who are genetically vulnerable are - in effect - selecting themselves out (first from social power and then from successful  reproduction).

(As presumably happened much earlier in more southern Northern Hemisphere societies which encountered untrammeled access to alcohol much earlier, and which evolved genetic resistance.)

It may well be that this is not enough, and Russia will go down with the West. 

But on present trends I would say that Russia is the only powerful nation which has a reasonable chance of surviving, and even thriving, over the next century.

Russia has a chance of surviving because - in a nutshell, culturally, uniquely perhaps - Russia wants to survive and its policies (which follow this disposition to survive) are overall aimed at Russian survival.

(I would be much more confident of this if divine kingship is re-established in Russia and true Tsars return - it is even possible the the first might of these might turn-out to be Putin. And I say 'might' because the chance and choice of divine kingship are decisions that are ultimately made by divine providence and not by human calculation.)

But Russia is not an 'example' to the West in terms of specific economic, military and social policies; rather in its powerful and devout Orthodox Christian revival.

An Orthodox Christian revival is something it seems very unlikely that the West would either want or be able to follow; not least because true Orthodoxy (carried mostly the Catacomb church, and not by the Communist-puppet official church) was purged and refined by decades of by far the most savage persecution that any Christian church suffered in the entire 2000 year history of Christendom.

(This crushing and sustained Communist persecution of Christians is not a matter of my opinion or anybody else's opinion, but just a fact - a fact which is hardly known, even today. If you feel inclined to doubt it, the most probable reason is only be that you do not know enough about it.)

In other words, the real cause of Russian social revival is not attributable to secular factors but instead (to put the matter briefly) the almost innumerable Christian Saints and Martyrs of the Communist era.

As I have said before, 'civilization' is not a primary thing, not a 'first thing', not a goal of policy; rather civilization is an unplanned by-product.

No amount of seeking to maintain or restore Western civilization is possible without (to put it bluntly) being led by Saints and Martyrs (and not by politicians or analysts).

The fact that anything like this seems fantastically implausible in the West is merely a measure of the depth of corruption in the West and the likely future course of events.

Of course the West's situation is not hope-less, hope is mandatory and nobody can predict providence with certainty.

But, while we must continue to hope and act on that basis, the prospects for the West - as understood by human reason - are extremely pessimistic.
