On the other hand... Perhaps it could All be due to One Good Man who has - somehow and suddenly - utterly overcome the global Establishment in all its interlinked manifestations; and risen to absolute (yet benign) world-dictatorship; so that now all those (until November 2024 regarded as Ultra-Powerful) evil globalists have been reduced to abject and whimpering impotence.
But no. Surely, nobody could be gullible enough to believe such garbage?
@Laeth - I for one applaud this unexpected and gratuitous outbreak of truthfulness and realism from The Globalists - after so many decades of selfishness, lying, manipulation and distortion -- surely such a miraculous, change-of-heart (almost a Damascene conversion?) *must* be accepted and celebrated as A Good Thing, yes? Presumably - after such a display of virtue, they deserve the benefit of the doubt, and the chance to set-right the troubles of this world?
It reminds me of Saruman:
Saruman, speaking to Theoden: "Why have you not come before, and as a friend? Much have I desired to see you, mightiest king of western lands, and especially in these latter years, to save you from the unwise and evil counsels that beset you! Is it yet too late? Despite the injuries that have been done to me, in which the men of Rohan, alas! have had some part, still I would save you, and deliver you from the ruin that draws nigh inevitably, if you ride upon this road which you have taken. Indeed I alone can aid you now."
Théoden opened his mouth as if to speak, but he said nothing. He looked up at the face of Saruman with its dark solemn eyes bent down upon him, and then to Gandalf at his side; and he seemed to hesitate. Gandalf made no sign; but stood silent as stone, as one waiting patiently for some call that has not yet come.
The Riders stirred at first, murmuring with approval of the words of Saruman; and then they too were silent, as men spell-bound. It seemed to them that Gandalf had never spoken so fair and fittingly to their lord. Rough and proud now seemed all his dealings with Théoden.
And over their hearts crept a shadow, the fear of a great danger: the end of the Mark in a darkness to which Gandalf was driving them, while Saruman stood beside a door of escape, holding it half open so that a ray of light came through.
Comment from Maolsheachlann: Me! I don't believe it in those terms, but I do indeed believe that DT and his allies have genuinely put a huge spanner in the globalists' plans, and there is grounds for hope. They certainly went to tremendous efforts to stop him.

@M - "They certainly went to tremendous efforts to stop him."
Some did - but others (more powerful at present) made sure that there was no repeat of 2016 or 2020.
As I've been saying for four plus years, there is an ongoing civil war among the Establishment - between the outgoing (NWO/ Great Reset) totalitarians, and the waxing power of the destroyers.
Sniff. You're right, Bruce. I must start believing the liars at some point, or else I may despair. If you'll excuse me, I must go and repent my pessimism and black pillishness now.
I'll have to respectfully decline, because they wouldn't say it if they didn't want me thinking about it, and to put it lightly they don't have my best interests in mind.
@TYM - The insuperable difficulty is that the option of Not thinking about stuff in the mass media is not an option - as evidenced by your comment! - it gets to you, by multiple channels. The question is - what then?

@Wm - Exactly.

brilliant and hilarious despite the tragedy.

I can't wait to learn the replacement neologism.

@Lucas - We shan't need to wait long.
Pixiehappyland, perhaps?
I can't wait for them to all proclaim -- in unison -- that they have become Christian nationalists or some such thing.

@Frank - You are are nothing better than a despair-inducing blackpiller, to say such pessimistic things!
When evil-serving lifelong professional liars eventually say some-thing that you want to hear - surely you are honour bound to believe them?
The time for unbounded optimism is NOW!

@Frank - Go thou and pray three Hail Donalds, as penance.
