The fake nature of geopolitical discourse - All things to all men, hence an instrument of the devil

Everybody loves geopolitical explanations! - at least, everybody in the mass media, and most people else where. 

And yet, using geopolitical analysis, which sounds hard-nosed, and (sort-of) objective... Everybody reaches a different conclusion!

This should serve as a warning, a Red Flag; that we are dealing with some-thing that is evil; and evil not by its usage but by its very nature. 

In other words; we engage in evil when we use and believe geopolitical discourse to discuss and analyze 'world events'. 

Geopolitics is wrong for two main reasons - or classes of reason. 

The first and most fundamental wrongness is that geopolitics is materialistic in its assumptions: geopolitics excludes the reality of God, creation and all that is of the spirit. 

Because these are excluded, and yet these are real and primary; geopolitical discourse misses-out most of what is most important. 

Secondly geopolitics is wrong because it has too many, too subjective, too imprecise, variables.

For a start; geopolitical analysis is based upon evaluating "interest" - in the sense of benefit. In other words, asking who benefits-overall from options X versus Y or Z. 

Yet this matter of what interest means, or what benefit is overall most important, is utterly vague and conjectural. 

Because we cannot perceive another's motivations, all such imputations are - at bottom - little more than guesswork and assumption; that can neither be confirmed nor refuted, because in practice all possible outcomes are compatible with all imputations of interest. 

Any person - and more so any institution, corporation, ethnic group or nation - has many things that might be called interests, many possible ways in which (we suppose) they might benefit (money, power, fame, sex...); and many more ways in which they might wish to avoid harms and suffering (poverty, humiliation, pain, confinement...). 

We can't ever be validly-confident concerning which interest is actually important, or most important, or how the various interests might interact? 

And there will surely be other genuine interests we do not know, have not thought about, or which we under-rate. 

This fundamental and fatal imprecision in geopolitics is compounded by further variables; two in particular - time-scale, and interest-group-boundaries.

Timescale

What is best in the short-term of here-and-now, is almost never the best possibility in the longer-term. Conversely, the best long term possibilities are nearly-always associated with immediate disadvantage or serious risk. 

So, geopolitical analysis has vast - and fatal - wriggle room in identifying self-interest and other kinds of interest; since almost any timescale can be used to 'explain' things - from the immediate and tactically useful, to many and various longer term and 'strategic' advantages... 

Ultimate long term benefit can be assumed for anything from days, weeks and months ahead, to years or even decades ahead; and such assumed benefit  can therefore explain almost any activity leading to almost any outcome.  

Interest-group-boundary

On top of all this, there is the question of who exactly is supposed to be benefitting? Such benefit comes at every level between extremes of the individual, and the entirety of the human population. 

Some specific individual (such as a monarch, president, or dictator); or also their family and minions? Or should it be assumed that some rival person or faction stands to benefit. 

Are we talking about a class (like Marxists)? or are we talking about a race or religion? 

Or maybe it is a corporation or some other social institution like a profession of a branch of government like the military?

At a larger scale - are we talking about a whole nation's interest; or maybe some larger alliance of nations? Or it is the globalist perspective that is being promoted - with multinational organizations?  

Or maybe the interest being sought is that of a secret cabal or conspiracy? 

I hope it is, by now, sufficiently clear that geopolitics is so imprecise and slippery a discourse that it can  explain anything in any number of ways; can blame anyone (or nobody) with equal pseudo-validity! It can impute almost any kind of motivations and intentions, across almost any time-frame.

And, in sum, I hope it is clear that geopolitical analysis is a fake!

So, why do we all so easily and often fall into it (I do not exempt myself). 

The reason is that geopolitical discourse is ultimately a demonic temptation; and (as Jesus told us) we are all sinners! Many of us will fall tpo the temptations of geopolitics - especially when so many other people are doing it, all the time. 

Geopolitics is inescapable, because geopolitical discourse functions - at high levels of power, where people take such matter seriously, to justify anything to anyone. 

Consider a war, as an example. 

Geopolitics can appeal to the interests of people on opposite sides of wars, to all kinds of rival factions within those sides and crossing those side - and reference interest across all timescales*... 

Such that every-body and every-group (at least all with power) may simultaneously believe that he is pursuing his interests by starting a war, escalating a war, pursuing that war!  

Now; imagine that - behind all the geopolitical discourse was some person or group - call him Satan! - who wanted war, or societal destruction - starvation, torment, disease... Wanted these for their own sake, from sheer spitefulness, because they made him feel good... because that is his nature.  

"Satan" could pursue his destructive goals via geopolitics; by identifying powerful individuals and groups, and encouraging them all to pursue particular kinds of self-interest... different groups, different benefits, different timescales...  

So - in the end - lots of people and groups were following Satan's agenda of destruction; but each and all of them were under the impression that each was pursuing his own self-interest! (Various kinds of interest, over some various time-frames). 

Such is the nature our world - and increasingly so. 

We cannot cease to sin altogether; but we can recognize and repent our sins - and that is what we ought to do in relation to geopolitics. 

We can recognize that geopolitics is a fake discipline, that provides fake explanations to-order; and is therefore used to manipulate people towards underlying goals of which they may all be unaware. 

Because behind geopolitics lies the spiritual war of this world; and that (not geopolitics) is where we should be looking for explanations and guidance. 

*To clarify: those who desire to trigger, sustain or escalate the destructiveness of war; will typically try to work using individuals and groups on both sides of the conflict; agents who - using geopolitical arguments - can both simultaneously be convinced that war will be in their own interests - of one sort or another (power, money, religious), in one timescale or another (but - in war - usually short-medium term). 

The weird delusions of geopolitics (to which we are nearly-all prone, nearly-all of the time)

If you can imagine yourself to be a human from another planet who had arrived to observe the denizens of the "Western" civilization on earth; I think you would be amazed at the amount of mental time and effort that we expend on having (strong!) opinions on geopolitical matters. 

So much of our public discourse is occupied by political and social issues, national and international - which are remote, second-hand (to put it kindly), and over which we can have no conceivable influence. 

It is a spell cast over almost all of us; and from which we only seldom and briefly awake to be astonished at ourselves... Before lapsing back into the bizarre world view in which "my opinion" on something geopolitical is supposed to be crucially important - both to the world and to my own identity and moral status. 

What is strangest of all, is the inbuilt expectation that - not only must we all have the "right" understanding of... everything; but also we are each supposed to have some sort of plan or blueprint for "fixing" the world! 

Indeed, the expectation is that we are not really entitled to an opinion unless we also have a plan to fix it: not only are we required to consider all the questions, but we are expected to know all the answers...

Not only should we have a plan to fix everything; but we ought to be doing something about fixing it. That "something" may, objectively, be of ludicrously trivial - like participating in an election every few years - but it is nonetheless believed to be morally mandatory, and causally linked to all that happens in the world! 

We are defined by that microscopic act - defined, I mean, in our own minds. 

More exactly, we must subscribe to, subordinate ourselves to, be loyal to; some kind of ideology (if not religion) that claims to be coherent and comprehensive: to have all the answers to all the questions - because any gap in the Qs or As is supposed be be a fatal deficit! 

That loyalty is (supposedly) what makes us a responsible human being.  

And if our ideology doesn't have a viewpoint on everything that happens to be in the news today - then it's no good, and we ought to change it!

 

I do not exempt myself from membership of this obviously-delusory way of living - it's just that very occasionally, such as the past few minutes; my mind clears of the smoke, I come-to-my-senses, and realize my insanity. 

Before lapsing back into the morass. 

The pseudo-dilemma of being forced/ encouraged to take a side between evils; when we are being-manipulated by false-delineation of the sides

As I have often said; it seems to me that the Ahrimanic Sorathic struggle is very evident in the Arrakis war - with the Sorathic-demon servers current triggering extraordinary acts of nihilistic (and indeed suicidal) provocation; while Ahrimanic affiliates are trying to maintain control of the envelope, and daily re-applying veneers of geopolitical pseudo-logic. 

This is exactly the kind of characteristically "End Times" danger that I was brooding about a few years ago; when there are only two allowed options in public discourse - chaotic destructiveness or globalist-bureaucratic totalitarianism. 

It superficially seems obvious positively​ to take the side of Systemic evil - e.g. of favouring more "peace" instead of uncontrollable war - and then one too easily finds oneself, for example, pinning hopes on that deeply evil-motivated organization the UN!

I'm sure this kind of pseudo-dilemma (ie. trying to induce us to take one of two sides, both of which are ultimately evil in motivation and methods) is something deliberately planned and sustained.

One of "Their" tricks is to mis-describe the sides: to falsely delineate who is actually fighting whom. 

For example the Fire Nation is fighting the globalist West - and the West is merely using the nation that is the venue of conflict: using them to the point of annihilation and (currently) beyond. 

This is obscured by the suicidal complicity of those being-used; yet this is not a surprise because self-destructiveness is a standard feature of modern, Not Religious, Man. Self-destruction is the inevitable ultimate consequence of unrepented sin; and resentment is maybe the most powerful and common of unrepented sins of this era. 

False delineation of sides is also evident in the Arrakis war (where there are no good sides, and the Western Establishment is unequally split - and supports both of them). 

As in the Fire Nation war; the actual venue of conflict is not one of the two real "sides"; but is merely the location of a war between much larger powers - and thereby is currently, rapidly, being-annihilated. 

And, as with the FN war; the Western side is motivated by powerful, long-term, unrepented - indeed celebrated - resentments - fuelled by fear, which is itself deliberately fuelled. 

Something somewhat analogous applies to the other side - so that the desired outcome on both sides is annihilation of the other - but the most probable outcome is de facto annihilation of both sides: which is why I regard this as ultimately a Sorathic war. 

My point about the need for accurate delineation of sides is that the mainstream, official and media sources persistently misrepresent these conflicts as being "about" the smaller, venue-nations; whereas in reality the venue nations are actually victims (albeit, to a variable but significant extent, complicit victims) of external manipulation . 

"In a rational world" we would not personally be concerned by the doings of remote places; yet because of Western complicity, funding, intervention, geopolitical strategizing - we Just Are involved. 

Not having an opinion is hardly possible with mainstream mas and social media and official saturation coverage; as it was hardly possible with the birdemic-peck, or the antiracism of "MLB". No opinion, "neutrality" or a balanced-view is always - in practice - treated as taking a side.  

Therefore in practice; we must take a view. 

But we ought not to take a side in situations where both sides are evil (albeit evil of different types and motivations); when the choice of sides amounts to a choice between inwardly supporting either demonic chaos or demonic control - because that is precisely what They are attempting to manipulate us into doing. 

The dilemma is not, in reality, "di" - and there are other options and alternatives. By making it a choice of evils; the attempt is strategically-distraction from what we, as Christians and as dyadic direct-knowers, ought to be committing our-selves to. 

The extreme difficulty of winning a war against opponents who are forbidden to surrender, and therefore must be annihilated

What follows is meant to provide an historical analogy for a current real world situation - i.e. the Western proxy-war against the Fire Nation. 

The Paraguayan War of 1894 was apparently one of the most destructive wars in history - in terms of the proportion of the Paraguayan population killed. Broadly speaking (because precise numbers are not known) more than half of the entire nation of Paraguay were killed, including nearly all men. 

This happened because Paraguay was a small and relatively weak nation whose (apparently crazed or psychopathic) leader Lopez attacked three much larger and stronger surrounding nations (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay) - simultaneously. 

Despite this one-sidedness; the war continued for more than five years because Paraguay was not allowed to surrender. 

It takes much longer to annihilate a population than to defeat a nation militarily. 

When a nation is being used as a proxy by a superpower - an easy matter to do by imposing a superpower-puppet leadership by coup, and controlling them by bribery and blackmail - the proxy nation is in a similar situation to, but potentially worse than, Paraguay. 

The proxy nation may be militarily defeated, but forbidden to surrender. Then the war can only end by annihilation of the proxy nation.

And conducting a war to the point of annihilation of the enemy, is bound to be far more costly and destructive even to the victorious side, than would be the case of fighting only to the point of military defeating the opponent. 

Hence the appeal to superpowers of using proxies to fight their opponents, rather than doing so oneself.  

Suppose then that the superpower has several further proxies lined-up and waiting in the wings; and who will be compelled to fight until each of these is also annihilated...

And suppose further that the superpower actively despised, resented, or otherwise hated the proxy nations...

This is why being a proxy nation used by a superpower may be worse than Paraguay. 

I presume that the Paraguayan leader did not actually hate his people, and did not desire that they be annihilated - but those controlling a superpower may actively hate the people of the nation they are using as proxy. 

The superpower may be glad that the the people fighting as their proxy, are being slaughtered en masse and their country ruined.  

In this case, the annihilation of a series proxy nations used in wars against the Fire Nation would actually be a positively desired result! 

Finally; we should add that a supra-national-globalist leadership class is actually controlling the geopolitical strategy of the West - this is a group without any national or other group loyalties, but instead motivated by a destructive hatred of all nations and peoples.

(A group, I would add, whose members are mostly in service to demonic powers, rather than pursuing human interests.) 

Therefore, it is desirable for such a group that this planned sequence of proxy wars should also damage the superpower who is proximately contriving and conducting them.

What I am talking about is therefore a blueprint for incremental worldwide annihilation by mutual destruction.

Because, once lethal conflict has begun, then (so long as those in power remain in power) nobody will be allowed to stop and there will be no victory.

This business of contriving an unending sequence of unwinnable proxy-wars designed for mutual destruction is, I believe, the actual situation in the world today. 

I assume that this fact is understood by at least some participants at the highest levels of geopolitical strategy - but most people in most places simply will not accept that things could possibly be as bad as I describe. 

Time will tell.

Just to note that my recent geopolitical prediction that there would, before March, be a massive Fake Pennant atrocity to justify massive Western intervention in the Middle East - was wrong. 

All US Presidents are now Big Liars because they are all themselves A Total Lie

The US President is - and leaders of all Western-orbit nations are and long-have-been an intrinsic lie - a lie in-and-of themselves - consequently we observe that they are all untruthful all the time and about everything. 

It is several or many cycles since the US President has been anything more substantial than (to put it kindly) a puppet; more accurately a human autopen - when it comes to the issues regarded as important by those who hold the real material power of this world.  

If this wasn't obvious by the contrived election and four-year term of a dementia victim; then it is surely obvious now. 

The "President" has presided over two gratuitous war-acts of gross wickedness (and, for what little it's worth nowadays, treachery and illegality) - first against the Fire Nation the second against modern Zoroastria. Either (but especially the first) might well have, and I believe were intended to, precipitate all out world war.

And this outcome is very might a live and continued possibility. 

And it is clear either that the President foreknew and approved, and lied about this at the time; or did not know or approve beforehand, and then lied about that. 

And either way - the operations originated before the President, were conducted by other persons and institutions; and would very probably have happened whether or not Presidentially approved. 

Both of these supremely significant events were planned and executed on a timescale which spans US Presidents, and in collaboration with institutions of other "nations" -- and the planning, execution and decision to implement were very clearly indifferent to whoever might currently be acting the role of US President. 

So, for those who are actually making and executing these supremely significant plans - why bother with a President at all? 

Well, we can see the reason - in that the vast news and social media coverage and discourse is almost-exclusively about... the US President: what he has or has not said and done; what decision he may or may not make; whether he approves or not... and the rest of it.

(We have often seen the same puppet show focused on UK and EU "leaders" wrt each increment of the Western-derived anti-Fire Nation escalations over the past three years.)  

In this media circus; the US President plays a role analogous to the proxy-nations used by The West (= US = ultimately the demon-serving globalist-totalitarian Establishment) in warfare. 

I mean proxy-nations such as CHOAM or the corn-growing Western region of the Fire Nation. These nations have been armed, trained, equipped, and resourced to go to war against current enemies of the globalist totalitarians - to take the bulk of battle casualties, provide a focus for retaliation, and absorb most of the damage. 

And in process, often be destroyed as (even potential) nations. 

US Presidents, British PMs, EU Presidents and the like are in a closely analogous position. 

As proxy agents in the war of demonic evil against God and Creation, such pseudo-leaders may be rewarded lavishly in the short-term - but ultimately they are disposable tools; that will inevitably (later if not sooner) be disposed-of. 

So why do these pseudo-leaders make so much noise; why lie all the time and about everything? 

Why don't they just shut up? 

Well, firstly in order to serve as a focus. 

A focus for idealism, discourse, and dissent - just as the nation proxies and their "leaders" are admired and loathed, praised and criticized, sympathized-with and blamed - for doing... whatever it is that their totalitarians masters tell them to do.

We all keep our eyes on the puppets and their antics, seldom asking who is working them.  

More extremely, these leaders are like mass media commentators; whose job is to observe whatever happens, and cheer it or boo it according to editorial instructions. 

They have no control of what is happening, and indeed are often not even officially informed of what has happened - but they passionately desire to sustain the illusion that they are significant. 

So they lie. They pretend that they have personal power over the most significant events - when in reality they are victims of these events...

The most expert politicians are like surfers, riding the breakers of whatever is happening - but nobody with sense would suppose that the surfer actually makes the ways - whereas a majority are deluded that the US President is the ultimate wave-maker.  

Meanwhile; those with real power are willing to let Presidents act Presidential roles; and provide them with the needful pomp and circumstances; because the real-rulers put the Presidents in place to do exactly this. 

Sometimes a President knows explicitly that a puppet-role is what he does and must do; sometimes (apparently) a President convinces himself he is a real and significant origin of power. 

The inverted-beauty of the scheme is that it works either way!

Whether the President is a sincere fool, a conceited bloviator, or a self-aware and evil-embracing slimeball - doesn't matter to the effectiveness of the system. 

So long as people are looking at, talking-about, and treating seriously the cut-out cardboard-leader - then they aren't thinking about and recognizing the reality of a world so deluded that we never even ask who is making the major decisions - and what They really want, what Their motives really-are. 

Note added: These thoughts were crystallized by some of the analysis of Brian Berletic at the New Atlas vlog channel. BB's analysis is (I believe) correct at the supra-national geopolitical level - but he does not consider the ultimate spiritual war of this world; therefore his understanding of the ultimate motivations of geopolitical power is incorrect. 

Further confirmation of the ascendancy of the Agents of Chaos

It has been my contention since the second half of 2020 that the nature of dominant "establishment" evil has evolved and transformed from the goal of global totalitarianism (international omni-surveillance and micro-control of populations) to a resentment-rooted and spitefully-motivated destructiveness. 

The totalitarians have lost power since their peak in early 2020; and the Agents of Chaos have become increasingly dominant. 

This is how I understand the ongoing Western war against "modern Zoroastria". 

While there are a dozen or so theories about how this is a strategic war, aiming at power domination, resource extraction, geopolitical balance, security, territory, or whatever -- I regard these as disinformation; merely a smorgasbord of deliberately-confusing false excuses (pick your favourite!) for starting and escalating what is meant to be (at the highest level of control*) a process of mass mutual destruction.  

In other words; while the mid-level explanations of this war as driven by the interests of particular groups or individuals is partly and proximately correct - in that selfish-interest is indeed what motivates many of the active participants; I contend that these self-interested groups are being duped and used by those who actually seek their destruction. 

The overall aim and methods are designed, at the top-level, to induce destruction hence chaos; the chaos then generating further destruction in a positive feedback cycle. 

My explanation at least has the virtue of being almost certainly right immediately and for the medium-term of months and a few years! 

What is disputable is how this for-sure chaos, is related to some hoped-for-and-planned positive strategic outcome of whatever interest-group is genuinely dominant. 

There will be for-sure a vast and lasting increase in bilateral destruction of infrastructure, people and the land; and there will be regional chaos. 

The main question is whether this for-sure chaotic destruction is a side-effect, or whether it is the actual plan itself. 

Whether this definite chaos and destruction truly motivated by some-or-another optimistically-intended long-term (i.e several to many years ahead) strategic Master Plan; will become clear and evident to most people only after several to many years - but then only if they can conceptualize and recognize the reality and possibility of chaotic evil. 

It is spiritually important that we, here, now; become able to conceptualize and recognize that chaotic-destructive evil is a real thing, a real possibility, thus a real and possible motivator of world (as well as local) events.  

*The highest level of control of the pursuit of Chaotic Evil is the demonic, which explains the intent of maximum and mutual destruction of human life and society. Humans are involved at lower levels - highest are the demonically possessed/ enslaved and the willing/ whole-hearted servants of evil. Tese are covert. Below them, and in public view, are the great mass of selfish dupes and pursuers of money, sex, and power over others - the middle managers and henchmen of totalitarianism.  

High- and Low-level functionality; Totalitarian control versus Chaos

If I am correct that the ruling class are divided between - on the one side - totalitarian bureaucrats with the aim of omni-surveillance and micro-control - mostly based on the motivation of power. Such people enjoy manipulating people into doing Their will...

And - on the other side - Agents of Chaos; whose agenda is destructive; and whose main motivation is resentment, hatred, and spite. 

They most enjoy immiserating, tormenting and killing people - and any affected purpose is a sufficient excuse for this activity. 

But these two kinds of evil are always mixed, in practice; and I think the way evil works at the geopolitical and national scale is that the two categories are defined by overall and strategic motivation at the high-level. 

And perhaps necessarily, each kind of evil at the strategic level tends to be "balanced" (and made short-term more effective) by the other kind of evil at the lower level. 

So, the totalitarian bureaucrat agenda is essentially ideological at the highest level - and that ideology is Leftist - with its various justificatory sub-strands such as socialism, feminism, antiracism, climate, healthism etc.  t strikes me that there is a kind of division between these groups. 

Consequently, bureaucratic totalitarianism at a high-level almost sabotages itself by destroying functionality at the lower level. 

This is the well known phenomenon whereby top-down imposed Leftist ideology destroys its own functionality in all kinds of institutions, corporations, organizations; because the low-level people are increasingly "doing ideology" instead of running the organization. 

This is why strongly totalitarian leftist organizations so often descend into chaos, and fail to yield their ideological intentions: and we get schools and colleges that do not teach; police indifferent to the law; media "entertainment" that does not entertain; scientists that hide truth and never discover anything useful etc. etc. 

Normal modern Western life...  

In other words there is a conflict between high-level totalitarianism, and always increasing low level-dysfunctionality - and indeed chaos.

The Agents of Chaos have almost the opposite problem; because in order to pursue the high-level chaos, they need to support functionality at the lower levels. 

So, in pursuit of global and national chaos; the AoCs tend to restore some degree of functionality at a low level - thereby creating a non-chaotic, indeed somewhat anti-chaotic, counter-current. 

In order to disrupt agriculture or international trade, or to induce wars; the AoCs may need to build-up manufacturing functionality, or improved military and intel capability; and they may need to deploy genuinely effective propaganda - these, at least in the short-medium term.

Thus, there is a conflict between high-level chaos, and the immediate low-level need for functional power to cause this chaos.

My analysis is not meant to be reassuring. Evil is not defeating itself by these conflicts. 

Instead, the internal contradictions and counter-currents just lead to more evil, of more kinds, in different aspects and places - and make this evil so multiple in nature as to be impossible to defeat by opposition!

As always, we are brought around to the truth that opposing evil is futile or counter-productive; and evil can be overcome only by Good...

(Remembering that there is, and can-be, no real and effective Good; without a personal and loving creator-God. While noting knowledge of such a God is necessary but not sufficient, for truly Good intentions.) 

Birmingham, Glasgow and the escalating attention-magnet and motivation-sinkhole of geo-politics

No matter that I have for a decade-plus been cutting-down my consumption of media (and almost eliminating mainstream mass media from my life) - the fact is that the lure continues to escalate. 

Aside from the continually escalating geopolitical crisis of multiple wars, coups, and chaos (in which the UK unerringly joins the most evil side, in a fashion that paints a target over the country); there also the brutal and reckless destructiveness of UK domestic politics to contend with. 

The mask of benignity never come-off entirely; because mass media addiction and a godless aspiritual populace incapable of learning from experience, makes even gratuitously spiteful actions facile to prosecute under the most perfunctory of pragmatic or ethical rationales. 

The UK is being purposively annihilated by multiple strategies, any one of which would do the job on its own. But I can't do anything about it; and most native British people (a very large majority) are apparently so consumed with hedonism  / cowardly/ despairing self-loathing to be either ignorant or approving of the process. 

For instance, the main current national crusade and new legislation, which is widely-approved, is for the right to be painlessly murdered when the totalitarian state deems this moral and beneficial. 

The program of UK annihilation is now openly documented. This week we learned (from mainstream media) that in the past two years - by official figures (which are underestimates) net immigration has been about 1.7 million extra people... Which is an additional load (extra housing, education, health services, doles etc.) of the population of the second and third largest UK cities (Birmingham and Glasgow) combined. The government response is extract more taxes and introduce new laws to cover this crowded island with colossal swathes of cheap housing.

This is just one of the lethal plans - on top of war, anti-environmentalism, crushing farming, breaking transportation, smashing the economy, antiracism/ DIE, pseudo-socialism, omni-surveillance, total-bureaucracy and so on and on - mandated by an alien leadership class on a docile and demotivated populace.    

So the world is being destroyed, my country is being destroyed - and I am confident that nothing effective and significant will be done to oppose either of these killer trends. 

Yet the temptation is to monitor and evaluate the situation; and that monitoring needs to be ever more frequent, and ever more complex - and I have only so much time and energy and motivation. 

If I keep tabs on this stuff, and "do my little bit" to oppose it; then this is not merely futile, but drains finite life force and will-power from what I ought to be doing. 

There is a vast amount of real and important stuff that (given our consent) has a magnetic attraction for attention; and consumes motivation like a bottomless sinkhole... 

There is a great deal of "reality"! 

But the problem is not impossible - because each of us has a destiny, and sufficient divine guidance to enable us to discover what is most important. 

Hence, we need to ignore without denying most of "reality". 

Then, it is up to each of us to do that - and not something else. 

And this is not something to feel guilty about, nor to apologize-for - we should instead reserve our contrition for those things we fail to do that we really ought to be doing. Those "spiritual" things that can really make a difference to everything - not just here and now, but forever.  

Note to commenters: In any response, please try to resist the temptation to be topical and political; don't fall into exactly the trap I am describing! 

How should we choose our assumptions?

We can all see how obvious other-peoples' assumption are - and how these are completely resistant to emerging evidence. 

(Such is a property of all assumptions: they are prior-to and "above" all possible evidence; because assumptions select and interpret all evidence.) 

This is particularly evident when it comes to large scale and abstract matters. For instance, geopolitical assumptions are indestructible, even across generations - especially when the assumptions are negative: as when it comes to be assumed that a particular nation (or national leader) is hostile, a threat, evil. 

Similar assumptions govern attitudes between some races - and these need not be symmetrical (i.e. one race may regard another as intrinsically hostile, but that feeling may not be reciprocated). 

Of course there is also an element of the self-fulfilling prophecy at work; but even without anything of that kind, such assumptions cannot be overthrown by experience.  

Yet, although evidence-immune, assumptions may be abandoned and replaced. 

And assumptions must be adopted in the first place - even when they are unconsciously socially inculcated. 

So - given that factual information is irrelevant - is there any valid basis by which particular assumptions ought to be adopted or abandoned? 

My answer would be several layered. 

First and most important is awareness...

As of here-and-now; assumptions ought to be (or become) conscious, and we ought to be aware that they are prior to evidence (because assumptions structure our choice and understanding of evidence). 

So we should not assert that our assumptions are obvious or inevitable; and should not suppose that our assumptions derive from factual evidence. 

Such a recommendation of what not to do, is easier said than done! I break it habitually, several times a day - yet in doing so I am making an error - with many ill consequences. 

But I still have not said anything about choosing between assumptions? 

The answer, as with all ultimate matters, is always a matter of intuition - which we cannot go beneath; but which we can recognize and acknowledge as the reality behind our engagement with the world. 

I think it could be said that (assuming we desire to be coherent) our assumptions need to fit our deepest and most solid intuitions. So, for a Christian, all further assumptions need to fit with that ultimate intuition (including the ultimate intuitions of what "being a Christian" actually means). 

Once we have identified our our assumptions; we should then choose whether we really do wish to retain them as assumptions - or else replace them with others - as we are free to do! 

It is a matter of admitting this necessary freedom as our own active choice, and of taking responsibility for its exercise. 

Just because someone opposes sadistic destructiveness, does not mean they are actually good!

In a geopolitical world where treachery and gratuitous murder are openly and officially celebrated; it's become pretty easy to appear "good" - merely by defending The System, and its continued functionality.

When contrasted with a mainstream moral system increasingly based-upon paranoid resentment and Schadenfreude - those whose vision of the future is 2020-on-steroids may begin to look "good by comparison". 

When routine usage of mass-scale and indiscriminate assassination, and the parasitic scavenger-of -corpses presented as a moral ideal; with its implicit Hobbesian future of eternal war of each against all...

It is easy to fall into supporting the only publicly available and organized alternative: a totalitarian world of omni-surveillance and micro-control (ostensibly) supervised by "AI" and implemented by "robots".  

In other words; the greedy lying tyrants of the lockdown-era start to seem "not so bad" after all... 

(By reasoning that "at least" they don't actively support industrial-scale torture and slaughter, sabotage of production and trade, and environmental annihilation.)

The stage has been set for the masses eagerly to invite their own mental slavery to a materialist-computerized society, built upon absolute denial and exclusion of the divine and human - hoping thereby to avoid the alternative.  

Unless we are alert to this spiritual danger; we will fall willingly into this long-prepared trap of not just choosing between two evils; but inwardly-endorsing that which we regard as the lesser evil - and thereby coming to regard in our hearts that which is fundamentally opposed to God, divine creation and salvation - as if it was good.

All this is presented as a forced-choice - either embrace the global totalitarianism and the systematic destruction of spirit; or else embrace a world of deliberate and spiteful destruction. 

The System is presented as the only bulwark against forever-everywhere war; and chaos is presented as the only escape from eternal mental slavery. 

These are not, of course, the only options; but nobody with power/ influence/ high status is going to tell you about the good alternatives.

Note added: We also need to ask how it became normal and acceptable among the ruling classes to celebrate treachery and assassination; even when these harm the ruling classes own long-term self-interest. This leads to a consideration of the trajectory of evil, of how unrepented evil is dynamic and feeds upon itself - how evil becomes "purer" with time: meaning that it becomes more wholly-negative.    

A precise geopolitical prediction (for what very-little it's worth)

My prediction: Before this April* (i.e. within less than a month of the new DT administration) there will be a massive Fake Pennant atrocity to justify massive Western intervention in the Middle East - de facto in support of CHOAM. 

There will be some kind of state of National Emergency in the major Western military powers with dictatorship powers resumed bypassing normal legislative procedures (as happened in 2020). 

There will be plans for a large and rapid military deployment to the Middle Eastern region - and I think there may well be an attempt to introduce military conscription under some misleading conceptualization.  

This is, I believe The Plan - but of course, in a world of Free Agency, and where there is a hot civil war among the Western/ Globalist leadership class; it may not work-out as planned.

The best thing about this prediction is that if I am wrong (as I hope will be the case) - then the prediction will easily and quickly be refuted; and will not, therefore, hang-around for ages, causing trouble!

What is missing from a life lived without a creator God?

It seems a clear lesson of the past century that it is possible, it may even become normal (and "official" to live a human lifespan without any belief in a creator God: to live, that is, in a reality that is "accidental" and has no ultimate purpose - hence no meaning. 

This is something new as an accepted, assumed normal in human history. It is perhaps surprising that people, and societies, function at all when such beliefs are nigh universal. 

What this fact of at-least partial functionality implies, is that a great deal of life operates at a "close-up" level, of here-and-now, getting-by etc. This might e termed our "emotional life". 

And that the next (and more abstract and general) level of explanation, is what might be termed ideology; some kind of "system" (which may have the form, although seldom the motivational strength, of a religion) is now the "deepest" type of thinking. 

I think this is a fair description of the modern West: ordinary emotional life, is most of what happens; but this is interpreted and planned in terms by some kind of an ideology that underpins it. 

And ideology is the bottom-line. 

What is more; ideology draws its "justification" from the emotionality of ordinary life in a circular fashion - in the sense that each ideology justifies itself in terms of claims that it makes ordinary, everyday, emotional life better. 

Thus emotions are the ultimate justification for everything: everyday and ideological. 

And - among emotions - especially the "hedonic" emotions are primary: a scale of happiness-misery, pleasure-pain, gratification-aversion. 

In other words Life is mortal life only, and everything in mortal life is temporary; "therefore" what matters, both superficially and also as deeply as people can go, is how we feel about things. 

This is the universal life of the modern West; and the disagreements and conflicts of the modern West (at pretty much every level and form of discourse, from interpersonal to geopolitical) are all:

1. Primarily related to rival claims concerning how to make people feel better about things - and

2. Secondarily; the disputes are about who (which persons or groups) have the strongest claim to be made to feel better.  

(Note that even these disputes are rooted in emotions - for instance the claim that people or groups who were most miserable in the past have the highest claim on future happiness; or disputes over which class of persons (sex, race, nation etc) has an intrinsically higher claim to happiness.)

I regard this life of ours, now, as an inevitable consequence of removing purpose and meaning. 

The first thing to be noticed is that it is not stable but instead always changing, always in a state of dissolution...

Plus or minus claims of compensatory new forms of organization - but these claims to be building seem not to be absolutely necessary to justify destruction: it seems that people can be and are motivated to destroy what are perceived as obstacles to emotional improvement, even when there is no idea of why or how new forms and systems are going to be better. 

All of this makes pretty clear that people now do not join-up their assumptions with the consequences of those assumptions. This disconnection of Life - which we see everywhere - is, I think, a consequence of that original decision to delete a creator God as the bottom line. The decision, that is, to live without purpose - and therefore without meaning. 

What is interesting is that the situation is self-sustaining. Once one has decided to put emotions as the bottom line, then anything that diminishes emotional gratification, or is considered likely to do so, is resisted with all zeal of bottom-line ideology, backed by personal fear of misery.

When the bottom line of a creator God is gone; then life is not just disconnected as a fact; but as a moral principle. 

   

Keeping children safe? - Oh yeah, sure...

I need not bother to provide evidence of how little the Establishment cares about the safety of children in the UK. 

All their favourite strategic policies tormented, harmed and killed children on a truly colossal scale; and then condoned and concealed this - directly, and indirectly. 

So when there is legislation that purports to be motivated by concern for the "safety of children", we should immediately know that this is a lie - and the motivation is certainly quite other.

And know too that the real motivation is certain to be evil - or else it would not systematically, and by saturation and coordination, have been lied-about.

(And also, we know with certainty it is evil because, everything that our Western leadership class is pursuing seriously over the long-term - is strategically and intentionally evil; and I mean Every Single Thing.)  

It seems that the access to media is already more explicitly and aggressively restricted in the UK than any other Western nation - especially after geopolitical events in early 2020, and then again from early 2022. 

A lot of stuff that can be read online from the US, Commonwealth and Europe; has been blocked in the UK for the past three-to-five years.

You didn't realise? 

Well that is significant - one way or the other.

Those Litmus Test issues I linked early. 

So far this past week I have noticed several blog posts blocked by a message stating that the problem with content is child safety - when actually the content is related to some kind of analysis of (privileged and powerful) social and ethnic groups. 

Would-be readers are sometimes asked to provide "age verification" (i.e. to create an account and explicitly identify themselves), in order to read this anti-Establishment material.  

Well, I expected nothing else - the West is now, after all, a fully-totalitarian society, just closing a few remaining loopholes of un-restricted discourse.

And They are only interested in doing things to Us; and not-at-all in what We want; and it has been like this for many years.

As always, the truly vital thing is is that we:

1.Recognize the situation.

2. Recognize it for what it is - i.e. They are lying in order to harm us - physically, but mainly spiritually.

3. Recognize the net-evil strategic motivations of our leadership class - whether institutional, national, and global leadership. 

4. Realize that therefore the worst spiritual harm comes from Our consenting to the validity of Their imposed world-view and motivations; and from consenting to Their authority to control Our world-view and motivations. 

5. Be confident that They cannot spiritually harm Us... unless we invite Them into our hearts. 

But that is exactly what So Many people do in excusing Them as having naïve good intentions, or being merely selfish and greedy, or being merely stupid and ignorant and short-sighted. 

Things are much worse than that. 

In truth; Our leaders do bad things to Us, for bad reasons. 

What we need to do is be clear and explicit in our own minds as to what is going on and why; and then to reject it as evil*!

Too many people jump to advocating effective organized opposition... Not that this ever actually-happens! - but that does not stop people calling for it, automatically; like a speak-your-weight machine. 

But opposition as such is futile and indeed counter-productive, especially when opposition is itself motivated by some strategically net-evil programme, inevitably rooted in the hedonic materialism of all public discourse. 

Corrective and good social action may or may not be possible in practice; but whether possible or not, good action cannot possibly happen without a prior and sustained inner act of discernment, responsibility and courage. 

While of course we should strive not to cooperate or support evil; organized opposition will be futile or counter-productive unless genuinely motivated at every level; because to evil does not lead to good, unless there is motivation to good.  

And at the bottom line, as this process expands and envelops, we should recall that, in net-effect; mass/social media do vastly more harm than good.

All restrictions on mass media will almost-inevitably make it less popular overall, less engaging, less addictive**.

So that, by pursuing short-term expediency, evil is (to a significant extent) thwarting its own long term success.  

After all; to be denied some particular external inputs, and to be thrown-back upon our own personal experiences, evaluations, personal contacts, and individual reasoning - is probably just what we most need. 

In our civilization and nation; things probably need to get worse before they can get better - but they will get better only if we first understand enough of what is going-on.  

*That is what is required of Christians for salvation - it is indeed, all that is required of us, in a negative sense. Of course, the reality is that to move on to resurrected eternal Heavenly life, we must commit eternally to live only by love - and the rejecting of evil is really just a means to that end.

** This also applies to the "AI"-slop that is flooding mass and social media. Since this (as with all aspects of "AI") is backed by subsidies and amplified by corrupt boosting into displacing appealing content; such a trend can only diminish the long-term influence, impact and appeal of mass and social media. 

US public opinion being successfully prepped for war

The current patriotic mania apparently escalating among so many of the erstwhile disaffected US population of anti-leftist instinct and European descent - so far fits with my hard-timeline geopolitical prediction of an imminently upcoming fake pennant event being used to trigger massive US involvement in a Middle Eastern war. 

If so, this has been a clever manipulation - because just a few months ago there would have been little enthusiasm for a "Patriotic" war (for "US interests") among the class of Americans who are most inclined to support the military. 

But currently, these oh-so-recent cynics about state-led political projects, have become wildly enthusiastic supporters of the government; and pin great hopes upon the capacity of official power to turn-around the nation, and recreate the kind of conservative-materialist-utopia of prosperity and accomplishment that they associate with the 1950s, or 1980s. 

The ex-cynics would, in this prevailing mood, surely support their adored Leader in whatever military venture he regarded as necessary.  

Time will (and soon) tell whether or not the prediction turns-out correct. 

How is it that Western civilization keeps on Not collapsing (so far)

Anyone who was driven, by some inner compulsion, to read this blog in chronological order, from the summer of 2010 when I began to write on a daily basis (!); would rapidly discover that I have been expecting (therefore in a sense predicting) the collapse of our civilization - for most of the past 12 years!

Clearly, that has not happened! At least, not yet; and it is interesting to speculate why not. 

I am as sure now as I was then that our System is unsustainable; and for a multitude of reasons - that multitudinousness of individually-fatal stresses being why the civilization is inevitably doomed; since all causes cannot be addressed at once, or quickly enough -- even if there was a will to reverse the causes of collapse: which there is not.

Also because (and for the first time in history) a deliberate and strategic, top-down program for destruction of Western civilization.

This encompasses neglecting, worsening and denying 'natural' problems (such sub-fertility - which is itself a consequence of deliberately-encouraged religious apostasy and the exclusion of the spiritual from public discourse). 

...And gratuitously creating many new and individually-lethal System stresses (mass immigration, 'climate change', antiracism, birdemic-peck etc.).  

If this analysis is broadly correct; how, then, has the System survived? 

The answer I have gradually come to accept is that 'the conspiracy theorist' point-of-view is broadly true; in that most of the acute problems - apparent 'emergencies', and genuine catastrophes - are either permitted or actively-caused by the System itself. And therefore, when the System feels threatened - it simply stops causing these problems. 

It is relatively easy to stop creating crises, because people (on the whole) will only cause problems when encouraged, assisted and subsidized to do so. Thus, huge areas of national or local crisis can (if the will exists) be all-but eliminated - simply by removing the massive structures of positives incentives that have been their ultimate cause. 

The reason I took so foolishly long to recognize the self-caused nature of most crises and emergencies; is that I used to know (from personal experience) a fair bit about the people who were leaders at a regional and national level - and I realized that they 'believed in' what they were doing - believed that they were 'doing good' with their various lethal schemes. 

And therefore it seemed to me that National 'elites' were observably not conspiring actively to inflict social problems.   

Where I went wrong is assuming that the regional/ national leadership class were actual leaders. I did not then see that all their important instructions were coming-down from a much smaller, supra-national global 'elite' - which was the level at which strategic decisions were made. 

National governments and media, multinational corporations and large social institutions (such as the UK National Health Service) are just middle managers, just minions, just implementers of plans set at different levels. 

In other words, it is at the large - geopolitical - scale where the ultimate decisions are made and the ultimate causes of many problems set-into-motion. Vast areas such as 'the economy', 'finance', 'science'. 'health', the mass media etc. are managed to a very high degree. 

Visible, impacting, crises and problems in all of major social systems are mostly deliberately caused - but caused at a hierarchical level far above the level at which they are 'managed'. 

Thus the managers are often genuinely striving, in their minds - albeit dishonestly and incompetently - to address the problems... 

Albeit; among managers 'addressing' a problem does not mean solving or eliminating the problem - it means 'responding' to it; doing some-thing that can plausibly (i.e. plausibly to managers) be argued to be a 'positive' and helpful response, within the constraints of careerism and bureaucratization.   

Anyway; setting aside nuances for the sake of clarity; while the System or Western Civilization is indeed doomed to collapse; I have often been fooled by deliberately-caused crises and emergencies, into believing that the collapse was imminent - whereas, because the acute crisis/ emergency (whether of the economy, finance, health - or whatever) was deliberately-caused - the crisis/ emergency could later - when it had cause the desired results (and, at least, up-until-now) just as easily be cured. 

So much for the surface...

Deep down, however; the longer the System persists while continuing to be degraded; and while its efficiency, effectiveness, and self-regulating honesty are all incrementally being-destroyed - the more that the depth and breadth of eventual/ inevitable collapse will continue to increase. 

So the 'good' news is that Western civilization has not collapsed yet; but continues along its paths of value-inversion, mass spiritual damnation, and the active pursuit of evil goals...

The bad news is that - when it does happen, and it will - the collapse of The West will now be far worse than it would have been a decade ago. 

All in The West must take the side of evil (Nobody is allowed to be neutral - not even a bit)

True neutrality with respect to any question concerning values is not a possibility, and never has been; yet degrees of 'official' neutrality used to be conceded, and commonplace - as pragmatic realities in public life. 

While every person and nation will almost-inevitably take sides over any particular question - at least overall, and to some degree - it used to be allowed that people and nations could stand-apart from conflicts, and remain un-declared. 

Even during the massive conflict of World War II, there were several neutral counties in the heart of the conflict (Switzerland) or on its border (Spain, Sweden). 

And, as recently as a couple of decades ago; it used to be quite normal for people or nations to opt-out of taking sides on questions of value in public life. 

This is no longer allowed in The West; because the powers on the side of evil are now dominant, their evil is more advanced; and They have forbidden neutrality. 

Each and every person (with no allowed exceptions) must now - publicly and with a display of enthusiasm - actively participate in celebration and promotion of Litmus Test issues relating to sex, sexuality, antiracism and so forth. 

All must take the side of evil (called good, in the official system of Western inverted-values) - or be attacked as an enemy. 

Anyone - any single individual - who opts-out and tries to be neutral in any of the Litmus Test issues; may be punished by the full force of global media and public opinion mobilized against them; exclusion from work, removal of financial services, demonization of status - and many other possible punishments (officially imposed, and unoffically allowed and encouraged), without limit to severity or duration.  

We are seeing the same phenomenon in relation to the Fire Nation* war. No Western nation has been allowed to remain neutral on this issue - even Switzerland and Sweden have been compelled to abandon long term principles of neutrality. 

Furthermore, active participation in the war is also being compelled - until recently by participation in war-sanctions. And currently by mandatory military participation through sending weapons to the battlefront. 

And this military participation must be done publicly, proudly; and backed with explicit aggressive statements. 

Presumably the next step will be sending military personnel from all nations - with no opt-out allowed. 

This is not about military effectiveness - because from such a perspective it makes no sense. It is about ideological - hence spiritual - allegiance. 

Western nations are being compelled into active support for an open-ended campaign aimed at existential annihilation of the Fire Nation; either its destruction, fragmentation, or vassalage. 

Nations are being forced (by their puppet-'leaders') into making themselves existential enemies - not only of the FN, but of an alliance that (increasing month by month) includes the two most populous nations in the world, and indeed most of the world's population and land mass. 

Those who do not paint a target on their own backs by choice (like the UK did thanks to its cravenly-servile US-obedient leadership); will have it done for them, at the point of a sword.

In other words; the ideology of annihilation of the Fire Nation serves as yet-another factor in the suicidal self-destruction of The West - and all its (compelled-) allies, such as the North East Asian vassal-states of the USA, who are now actively and rapidly being prepared to operate as agents of their own destruction. 

In sum, underneath the cover of fake Geopolitical reasoning and led by the dominant Western power; the whole world is being set-up for an all-inclusive world war - the first ever - which will be sustained for as long as possible, and with as much all-round destruction as possible. 

Such a war will (if it happens) serve the dual purpose of lethally damaging Western civilization, and doing something similar to all those who - in any way - dissent from the Western-leftist-atheist-materialist ideology of the globalists. 

 

For a Christian; the vital matter is to recognize and remember that this is primarily 'just' the latest and biggest material manifestation of the long-established spiritual war; and that we need to discern and understand what is really going-on in terms of ultimate spiritual values. 

Not, therefore, to become distracted by merely proximate, materialist explanations of the war in terms of Geopolitics, economics, or even of ideology. 

These are merely means to an end; because evil is about damnation, that is about spiritual and eternal death - therefore not only, nor mostly, about physical death.

Spiritual effects of World War Two - totalitarianism and dishonesty

Huge subject - but I've been reading memoirs and histories of WWII in the past couple of years, and pondering the spiritual effect this six year conflict had on the British people, especially. 

I have known for a while that WWI was the last time there was a significant Christian revival in the UK, in terms of a great increase in interest in "higher things" as well as full churches and more participation in public activities. 

This is confirmed by comments by CS Lewis and his circle, who noticed the revival and specualted about its meaning and direction. 

But I have become more aware of the negative effects of the war on British spiritual life. The obvious thing was recorded by Orwell - the qualitative acceleration of totalitarian bureaucracy, which is intrinsically evil - by which I mean, the totalitarian systematization and directing of Mankind is evil, and corrupts men; no matter what purpose it is used for. 

As part of this totalitarianism; the war brought a tremendous increase in systemic dishonesty. It seems that - from top to bottom - the attitude became focused on the predicted behavioural effect of statements - to which an understanding of actual reality would routinely (and indeed compulsorily) be subordinated.

   

I suspect that a great deal of the Christian revival was atavistic, backward looking, and attempt to recover an irrecoverable earlier stage of human religious consciousness. 

The revival mostly took the form of a (doomed to fail) attempt to revive the church-rooted ("medieval-premodern) form of top-down and mediated Christianity - and Christian spirituality was linked to this earlier, traditional, social form. 

After the war, the nation moved forward from its totalitarian (hence atheistic) wartime basis; and this was extended by the merger, bureaucratisation, and nationalization of many major industries and social activities. This created a secular public discourse, hence excluded Christianity, and the wartime revival rapidly collapsed. 

It appears that, in this era of human consciousness, war is always totalitarian, therefore innately hostile to the kind of spirituality that is necessary to Christianity. 

The sense of a nation or people in unity, self-sacrificing and cooperating on communal projects, working together for a common cause -- these are no longer net-benefits, but mostly mass psychological manipulations with evil intent behind them. 

I suspect that it would now be mistaken to expect any large scale spiritual benefits from war - which may be why so much high-level geopolitical activity is currently focused an escalating and spreading wars. 

In other words, mass Christianity used to be a benefit of war; but I think that mass Christianity is no longer possible - and the attempt to revive it will instead feed into the evil of totalitarianism. 

Of course, any individual person may choose to take personal spiritual responsibility, and learn spiritually from whatever his situation - including war. 

But modern war is extremely hostile to this situation of "ultimate beingness". 

For proof, we need look no further than the sin of dishonesty - and the extent to which systemic misrepresentation (untruthfulness of all kinds: hype, spin, selectivity, distortion, lies; i.e. a focus on shaping mass behavioural responses to "information") - has become integral to societal functioning. 

Once you become aware of this lethal defect, and begin to look for it; you will find manipulative dishonesty to be pervasive - not just at the political-institutional-corporate level, but almost everywhere and continuous among those who contribute to public discourse (including bloggers!). 

Of course, everyone who is part of the systemic dishonesty will publicly justify himself by claiming that it is in a good cause. But unless he recognizes and repents (privately, at least) the innate evil of dishonesty; then he is lost - spiritually speaking.  

Responding to the spiritual manipulations of a Fake Pennant event

Fake Pennant events abound - through history, and now! 

A big one has recently happened with the obvious intent to provoke (another) war-front and escalate the ongoing world war III. 

So far, the Fake Pennant seems to be having the effect intended by its devisers. 

But all this is - for almost everybody in the world, as yet - a remote Geopolitical event; known only very indirectly, very incompletely, and with distortion, via the media. Yet most of us will, nonetheless, immediately and increasingly feel the strength of manipulation pressing upon us. 

(First emotional- then spiritual-manipulation). 

That is our first warning - when we take one step back from unconscious emotions, rendering them into conscious feelings; and recognize that we are being-manipulated.  

We can feel the externally-desired responses arising in us. We find ourselves spontaneously taking sides in a conflict between evils. 

What should we do? 

Become aware, then understand what is ongoing - and understand spiritually, rather than materially. 

As of 2023, all the Big Things of which we are made aware by the mass media are spiritual issues primarily - else we would not be getting so many Big Guns firing at us so loudly and often. 

Like all such things now; we are dealing with lies; and whatever truth there may be (and sometimes there is no relevant truth - some of the biggest lies are rooted in total lies) we should not become distracted by trying to do what we cannot possibly do: understand the true material causes of the material problem.

We cannot uncover the specifics of conspiracy; but we can recognize that something is not-what-it-seems. 

By the way the event is propagated in spiritual terms - which we know from self-monitoring, and noting and comparing the responses of rulers and of 'the masses' and known individuals; we can be sure that that there have-been and are elements working to generate and interpret a Fake Pennant event. 

The intention of a Fake Pennant can again be understood from 'self-monitoring'. Currently, the intent is to provoke cycles of resentment and fear to seek some kind of 'final solution' by destruction - some solution depending on the annihilation of the problem (e.g. particular people, or a particular place). 

For the remote masses, the intent is to provoke material fear and despair - rooted in the open-endedly horrific prospects of physical suffering, as war spreads between and within nations. 

Our job as Christians is to recognize that we are being manipulated into fear, resentment and despair; and to reject the validity of these spiritual responses as sinful. 

We cannot resist having these feelings altogether; but we can reject their validity - which is called repentance. 

This entails recalling (and affirming inwardly) that the real war of this world is (now as always) spiritual, not material. 

We should also take confidence from the truth that our own personal awareness, understanding, affiliations, attitudes etc. really make a difference in the real world; and that is exactly why they are being-manipulated so aggressively. 

Even just "noticing" what is happening spiritually; seeing through the lies and seeing the demonic 'at work'; by perceiving the workings of evil in oneself; has an immediate and positive effect. 

To understand and reject it - even more so. 

To transcend all this and take an inwardly God-aligned perspective - more so still. 

So there is much that each- and every-one can and should be doing. 

Of course, this whole thing needs to be done again and again! 

For instance, it should be relatively easy to accomplish when the problems are merely in the mass media; merely remote, virtual and conceptual. 

It may be much harder to accomplish when the problems become personal and experiential (as sooner or later they must, if the problem is really-real - or even if the problem is merely treated and regarded as real). 

Such is life... We are here to learn, and keep-learning, for as long as we are alive. 

The anti-woke Right are being set-up for a bait and switch inversion

As I suggested a month ago* - I feel sure that pseudo-radicalism of the new US Presidential administration is merely a move in a within-Establishment civil war. The "anti-woke Right" commentators who are deliriously cheerleading the new government, and apparently investing their expectations and hopes in its success; are being set-up for a scam.

The anti-bureaucratic populism is a pose and a pretence - the reality is an inter-office, inter-agency predation, a squabble between branches of government over who gets the lion's share of state resources; and which aspect of the agenda of demonic evil shall be the priority. 

A blizzard of theoretical executive orders concerning domestic affairs is the bait; but all this smoke and mirror distraction will be swept-away by larger geopolitical events; and the switch will be begun by a fake pennant event that is intended to lead to a US commitment to participate in war in the Middle East.

That is, I believed, "the plan" - and it should be evident; although of course things may not work-out according to plan - a fake pennant event may misfire, and the free agency of human beings means that nothing is pre-destined.    

*Interestingly, I made a self-contradicting typo in the above prediction, which seems to have passed unnoticed (certainly by me!). On January 8th I wrote "Before this April (i.e. within less than a month of the new DT administration)" - "Less than a month" does not make sense, unless I meant before this March - and my recollection is that this indeed is what I intended. My understanding was that DT took over on 22 January (I may have been mistaken about this since the EOs began a couple of days earlier), so that means before 22 February - which leaves only a couple of weeks remaining for the "fake pennant" event to happen, if the prediction is to come true.
