How (not) to argue with global warmists

Mainly - you can’t argue this one, not in the way you think (by proving that the claims are false).

Firstly, because it's about (anti-)morality, ingroup outgroup, us and them stuff – so there is no real arguing.

But mainly because it is a false claim to knowledge. Nobody knows anything about this stuff ! Nobody knows If the climate is warming, because there is no validated understanding of what causes climate. Also because a large majority of the data is contaminated with dishonesty – we cannot trust ‘the science’.

(Indeed, science is all-but dead – in the sense that science existed until a generation or two ago. The ‘evidence’ nowadays comes from research bureaucrats and entrepreneurs who are motivated by careerism; not truth seeking and truth speaking.)

Even If (which is not known) there Is a long term trend of getting warmer – that is in the past, not predictive of the future: nobody knows whether such trends continue, or plateau or reverse … nobody knows.

Even If ‘They’ did know that the climate was going to get warmer in the future, and If they knew it was mostly due to CO2 (which obviously it isn’t) then this may well be a Good Thing For The World overall – indeed it probably is (given that our real problem on earth is ice ages).

Even If it was getting warmer, due to CO2 and that was proven to be A Bad Thing; ‘They’ have No Idea At All if this can be prevented, or how it might be prevented. (James 'Gaia' Lovelock said it is already way too late to prevent it.)

So if they really believed this stuff, they would Prepare For Global Warming, not waste trillions on a futile attempt to stop it.

Even if CO2 caused global warming was true and preventable by cutting down CO2 – then this is not going to happen with proposed policies because they are all about creating a multi-trillion dollar industry of fake ‘sustainable’ technologies (liek wind turbines and hybrid/ electric cars) that do Not reduce CO2 and instead increase it; not least because they require five yearly cycles of re-tooling and infrastructure replacement.

Put it together and look at who is funding and pushing the Climate Emergency/ Extinction Rebellion (the richest and most powerful people and organisations) and it is obvious that this is about funding (with compulsory and subsidised ‘sustainable’ technologies) a totalitarian takeover (totality being justified by the fact that CO2 is the gas of life, and thus every living thing needs regulating).

So, in discussion, I would just reframe the whole thing in terms of being the dishonest product of evil motivation: an excuse for the rich and powerful to fund and implement global totalitarianism.

The CO2 "Global Warmist" Climate agenda may be a dubious, indeed nonsensical exploded scam for the majority of the UK population; but for the managerial-intellectual class it is a profound spiritual issue - sometimes The most significant problem in the world today.

(Or, second only to the ultimate historical spiritual catastrophe of the UK pretending to have left the EU.) 

Consequently, the tax-funded (about 300 million pounds p.a.) and government-controlled weather forecaster The Met Office (function now re-named "Weather and climate change") has been going berserk in the past few days; because they have been counting down the nation to "evidence" of a climate emergency with a top-level Red-Alert of danger: 

“A red heat health alert [sic!] indicates a risk to life for even the healthy population"! 

This; because temperatures are guesstimated to reach around the mid-thirties Celsius (c 95 degrees Fahrenheit) in some sub-parts of England, for a day or two. 

Well; I do not dispute that this is hot, and I dislike hot weather more than most people. Fortunately we usually avoid the extremes here in at 55 degrees latitude North. 

But the fact is that literally millions of British holiday makers per summer pay substantial amounts of money to visit Spain, Greece, Turkey, Florida, and other very hot places for their holidays; in order to be confident of temperatures in the mid-thirties. 

Indeed, the climate-delusional among the wealthier managerial intellectual class often pay the extra money and personal inconvenience to gravitate to even hotter climes than these - such as Africa, Australia, or South Asia. 

And yet, somehow, these sun-seekers don't behave as if they were taking their lives in their hands... Indeed they often look forward to their holidays; and both during and afterwards insist on showing-and-telling everybody what A Great Time they had - apparently despite dodging death while battling Red Alert Heat Health conditions. 

In sum: in the UK weather forecasting has long-since been weaponized to generate ever-more "evidence" of global warmism. 

In an island nation famed for its temperate climate; those abroad would scarcely credit the number of front page news items there are about emergency weather warnings - either predicting "record breaking" temperatures, or noting that contrived weather stats (that nobody had ever thought about - or cared about) have been exceeded... for some arbitrary slice of time in a very particular locality...

If it is not "unseasonably" warm conditions, which include pleasantly mild winters; then there are warnings before, during, and after any storms - all of which are given names - because these "weather events" are supposed to be more frequent and extreme, which is supposed to indicate climate change. 

And then linking these causally to the latest globalist-capitalist totalitarian imperatives of making colossal profits from parasitically-destroying the economy/ farming/ energy/ trade/ retail/ housing, mass personal transportation etc - aka The Climate Agenda.  

The stark fact is that just as the Met Office cannot predict our Atlantic frontal-system weather three days ahead (except during the rare spells of high pressure - such as now)...

And nobody in the world can validly-predict the future climate of the planet, nor does anybody know what determines climate except for earth's climate being driven overwhelmingly by the long-term activity of the sun - which also cannot be predicted...

But even if it could validly be known that the UK climate was for-sure going to get warmer; then a Very Large majority of the population would regard that as a Good Thing...

As should be obvious not just from holiday destinations; but from the tens of millions of those who have, over the past several generations, moved to live abroad permanently - often specifically to live in hotter places. 

The un-naturalness of belief in the Litmus Test issues signifies allegiance with the side who are against divine creation

I have often mentioned the 2020-21 Litmus Tests - belief in/ support for any one of which, by a person or institution - is strong evidence of affiliation with those who oppose, God, The Good and Divine Creation in this global spiritual war. 

The four tests are probably the core aspects of the Leftist agenda as it has become here-and-now; which recognizes Leftism as having been the major and most successful demonic strategy against Christianity:

Birdemic-peck 

CO2 climate 

Antiracism

Sexual revolution (especially 'trans', also 'homo') 

It is striking that all of these are characterized by unnaturalness - that none of them are a consequence of normal human commonsense operating on personal experience. 

Belief in the major health significance of the birdemic is not a result of individual persons observing the perceptible world. It is an outcome of official and media selection, distortion and lies - amplified by the multiple and severe real problems that have secondarily been caused by the 'response' to the constructed birdemic. In sum the birdemic is a System construct made from 'information' - it is not an entity which could or would have been noticed by any individual person.  

Likewise the CO2 climate agenda. It makes a shallow pretense of environmentalism; yet 'climate' has displaced concern for the environment - and causes obvious and significant environmental damage. This is because environmental degradation can be observed by any individual - but CO2 concentrations cannot. The link between (for instance) a waste pipe spewing rancid toxins and dead fish floating downstream is commonsense and observable. But 'global' discourse concerning CO2 measurements and claims about how these will affect future world conditions are hypothetical in the most extreme way imaginable: layers upon layers of selection, modelling, inference... 

Antiracism and the sexual revolution are example of inversion of the natural, spontaneous and humanly universal. The reality of male and female sex, and the superiority of reproductively viable sexual behaviour were naturally taken for granted in all times and places until very recently and in just a few places. All known past societies have naturally (obviously!) regarded their own race and 'nation' as deserving of consideration above others. To think otherwise (as is now praised, rewarded and mandatory) is a stunning inversion of the natural - and could only become normalized in the context of a system that was itself intentionally anti-natural. 

In sum, the Litmus Test issues - which form the current core of the mainstream, universal, global strategy for the totalitarian Establishment - are unnatural such that none could plausibly be a consequence of common sense reasoning applied to personal experience and observation. 

In other words; belief in any (or all) of the Litmus Test issues cannot arise spontaneously but only be a consequence of choice...

And that choice has been to accept the 'good-ness', truth, validity of the Leftist ideological system - which is the only source of those 'facts' and 'concepts which lead to belief in the Litmus Tests - and thereby the choice was made to ally oneself with the aims and plans of that ideological system. 

This explains why the Litmus Tests work so well as a way of detecting allegiance in the spiritual war: God or Satan. 

Many people are self-deceived concerning which side they serve (i.e. wrongly believing themselves to be on God's side); and many more are attempting to deceive others (e.g. 'liberal Christian' bishops) - but exactly because the Litmus Tests are unnatural, the tests discriminate between the sides, whatever claims may be. 

That which is unnatural is not supported by reality; and that which cannot be discovered from personal experience and common sense must be generated by external systems. 

Validity then depends on the validity of the system from which the unnatural is derived. When that system does not see truth, beauty and virtue but inverts these - when it instead depends on lies and propaganda, is ugly and destructive of beauty and overthrows all natural, spontaneous and traditional virtue - then we are confronted by the dishonest and evil-seeking ideology of Leftism.

Those who live in accordance with a dishonest ideology Just Are against Divine Creation - they are participating in the destruction of creation and its replacement with a fake anti-creation; just as they are supporting Satan against God, and Antichrist against Christ. 

It is all a package; and that someone self-identifies as 'A Christian' or is the devout member of 'A Christian Church' makes no real difference. 

The Litmus Tests are a more accurate guide to spiritual reality than names, because these issues are what are of prime importance to the Establishment, Now. 

To be A Christian in every belief except those issues which most matter to Satan and which best serve the Satanic agenda, is not to be a Christian. 

CO2 Global Warming - surely By Far the biggest, most destructive, lie the world has ever known

The Global-Warming-due-to-CO2 lie has now become so colossal in its scale that its effects (and costs) are beyond calculation. 

The lie has become so extensive and pervasive as directly to affect - in multiple and increasing ways - the lives of every human being; and to stress the entirety of world civilization. 

The lie works through soaring missions and strategies, down to an incremental accumulation of tiny details, and at every level in-between. 

The Global Totalitarian System (which conducted a successful and 'invisible' coup in 2020) has itself grown substantially on the back of the global warming lie; and the global warming lie has been one of the major tools by which global totalitarianism has extended its evil influence wider among nations, and deeper into the lives of Men. 

A neglected aspect of the GW-lie, is the way that it has channeled and destroyed the vague but strong spiritual aspirations which lay behind the concerns about animals and plants, nature, or 'the environment'. 

As recently as the early 1980s, these has a distinctly 'mystical' quality - for instance the adoption of Gaia as the concept of regarding earth as a genuinely living being - perhaps a real goddess...

For a while; 'Gaia' hovered ambiguously on the border between the materialist hypothesis of a homeostatically self-regulating planet; and the spirituality of an actual living entity with some degree of consciousness and intent - with whom Men might have some relationship. 

But very swiftly and decisively; the spiritual Gaia was reduced to either joke status or regarded as the preserve of benign but ineffectual hippies. 

The materialist Gaia won-out Big Time, and was sucked-up into a burgeoning globalist agenda operated by multiple national heads of state, multinational corporations, Big Finance and Big Media. 

The richest and most powerful people on the planet kidnapped Gaia, stripped her of divinity, clothed her in nothing but Carbon Dioxide, and enslaved her to do their dirty work of brainwashing and controlling the world!

The world is now ruled by a single, linked bureaucracy; and bureaucracy is intrinsically evil, as well as being the prime tool for literally-demonic policy; and CO2 Global Warming has been an important engine of this takeover.

The System operates by means of materialist assumptions; by the reductionism of all that is spiritual down to the material. This is done because 'the material' can be monitored, measured and controlled. 

Therefore; if men can be induced to live wholly-materially, Men can be wholly-controlled.  

CO2-Warmism is a grinding ideological vortex that has taken all our love-for, and feelings-about, nature and this world and our life upon it; has pulverized and discarded all beauty and the chance of true relationships of Men and the natural world...

And has made of this a fake-scientific discourse about the measurement and effect of concentrations of a chemical, and lies about how to control it and the climate. 

I find it hard to express the sheer vileness of what has become normal and compulsory in public policy and discourse... 

Every club or committee that is tasked with protecting The Environment; every book or magazine article about plants, animals or pollution; every classroom lecture or TV documentary on mountains, rivers, trees, wildlife; every farmer and horticulturalist in his daily work and annual planning...

All such are compelled to do obeisance to the God of CO2 and to obey his tyrannical dictates. 

Indeed, every formal group of every kind - arts, science, education, manufacture, services, churches... All must worship and submit-to the Global Warming lie.

(And even if they don't; all individual persons must still pay for the lie with their money, time and effort.)  

Unless they consciously dissociate from the Climate Lie; participants are ritually acknowledging the moral authority of the Global System...

A System whose motives are evil and whose operations are evil...

A System whose intent is to corrupt and destroy nature and 'the environment' - along with everything else that is true, virtuous and beautiful.   

What is behind the Climate Change/ Global Warming/ Carbon Dioxide stuff?

How can one even begin to articulate the sheer grandiose mass delusionality of 'world leaders' debating whether they will 'allow' the global temperature to rise by 1.5 or 2.0 degrees!

The plain fact is that there is zero evidence that anybody can predict future climate - indeed the Climate Scientists have not even tried (instead they have focused 100 percent on 'predicting' past climate changes - and do an appalling job even of that - as is inevitable when they are not truthful, and not even trying to be truthful).

But as for the idea of controlling future climate to within 0.5 degrees Celcius... Well, this beggars belief.

Either they truly are insane, or are stupid to a degree unequalled in history, or they are pursuing an entirely different agenda and merely using global warming talk/ legislation as an excuse for doing something/s else.

I personally think there is a mixture or all these factors - but that the unrelenting, delusional, evidence-resistant focus on this particular topic for more than a generation (in a world where the news headlines change by the hour, and nearly everything goes down the memory hole; and no managers stick to anything for very long but are blown about like weather vanes) means there is a very strong strategic thrust behind the CO2/ climate agenda.

In a nutshell, I infer that the Global Warming insanity is a vital part of the New Leftist agenda (perhaps the major plank in addition to the sexual revolution) - and that Satan must (ultimately) be behind it: because it seems necessary to posit immortal purposive evil as the explanation for how many of the butterfly-minds and woodentop-heads of world politics have all been kept pointed for so long in the same direction; and marshalled in pursuit of policies bespoke-tailored for rationalizing totalitarian self-destruction of The West.

"Predicting the future" in modern secular societies

There is, to put it mildly, considerable inconsistency about the way that those with power claim to predict - or 'predict the future' as the common pleonasm has it.

But perhaps adding 'the future' to the phrase is not redundant  - considering that climate change 'predictions' are actually based wholly on the past.

When Global Warming advocates claim improved prediction, what they really mean is that they have a new (CO2 based) mathematical model that more precisely describes past data, what already has happened before the 'prediction' was made; and none of the climate claim predictions have actually been tested against what was supposed to happen after the prediction was made.

In other words, the climate change activists are using a specialist, technical and statistical definition of prediction in a general, public and media context where it will certainly be misunderstood.

Also, I know from experience as a professional epidemiologist, that there are plenty of statisticians who themselves do not understand the importance of this distinction between modelling what did happen, and hypothetical models that claim to predict what will happen.

Such gross errors are common and usually remain uncorrected in a world where scientists are ever more numerous and of ever lower ability and relevant experience; and where researchers are not even trying to tell the truth, and where all the significant incentives are in the direction of exaggerated claims. For several decades now, the mass of professional science just is, and is just, about funding, publishing, impact, peer status - and truthfulness is neither discussed nor evaluated.

The modern state and mainstream media opinion are, to put it mildly, inconsistent when it comes to prediction.

The discussions about claims of global climate change, and the common - and usually accepted - claims of groups to be able to predict future climate and to be able to control future climate, are instances where predictions are not just accepted, but enforced and acted-upon to the tune of trillions of dollars of international funding and regulations - despite the an almost complete lack of tested knowledge concerning a process of truly immense complexity. 

In other words, mainstream opinion accepts some gigantic claims to predict the unknown and unpredictable - and does not just accept these massively-implausible claims of exact predictive knowledge, but regards those who do not accept these speculative knowledge claims as actively evil or grossly dumb.  

Yet on the other hand, I have been on an inside participant in several political correctness witchhunts - either concerning myself or friends and colleagues - in which 'hate facts', or taboo knowledge, was the focus; and the standard of proof required was insane and impossible.

For example, back in 2008 I wrote a magazine article that accepted a century's worth of completely un-contradicted evidence of social class differences in intelligence to model the effect of university selectivity on the differential rate of social class acceptance (to show why it was that highly selective colleges with an assumed unbaised admissions system would be predicted to accept a much lower proportion of working class students than was present in the national population).

Yet the baseline claim of social class differences in intelligence being predictive of a mismatch in class acceptance rates at elite colleges - which is a very simple and straightforward claim compared to the morass of uncertainties and interactions involved in global climate, and which is supported by many hundreds of papers over many decades and refuted by not one single paper - was treated by university administrators, the mass media and politicians as an utterly outrageous, and therefore clearly malicious assertion.

When a politically correct taboo is broken, suddenly it becomes normal, acceptable and irrefutable to assert that this act of taboo-breaking will have catastrophic effects.

Suddenly, all the uncertainties of prediction are used first to allow wild speculation about what might or could happen...  and then to treat such 'what if?' assertions as if they were true, plausible and indeed likely.

It is impossible to exaggerate the degree of exaggeration! One person saying one sentence - or even one word - is treated as if there was a strict knowledge of causal linkages that can and will lead to seismic social damage. And treated as if that seismic damage was the intent, and that the perpetrator would be 'to blame'.

In effect, the rulers of modern societies - i.e. mass media and the linked bureaucracies of major social systems - behave as if they are capable of making precise and valid predictions concerning the effect of specific words and phrases and events on the minds and actions of millions of people. 

The implicit claim is that we have a highly precise predictive knowledge of how discrete and specific phenomena effect the emotions and cognitions of vast numbers of people. The claim is that we posses an exact-science of prediction of mass behaviour.

Why?

The reason for such absurd claims is simply that they are the basis of modern morality - which is utilitarian.

If moral goodness is supposed to be based on promotion of human happiness and the reduction of human suffering, and if such goals are assumed to be the basis of legitimate moral action by social rulers, then it must be possible to predict the effect of a word, phrase or image on the hearts and minds and behaviours of millions of people.

I am not saying that this type of prediction is possible - very clearly it is not possible, and there is zero reason to assume that it is possible - but I am saying that secular rulers must act as if it is possible: must act as if they understood what makes the mass of people (or those people they regard as important) happy or sad, angry or contented, motivated or despairing.

It is a lie, and it is a ridiculous lie - but since all legitimacy in the modern secular state, institution and corporation depends on this lie being true: then the ridiculous lie is treated as true; and enforced as true.

So prediction in modern secular societies has nothing at all to do with the ability to predict - but especially not the ability to 'predict the future'.  

The magic of Big Money in overcoming common sense

The biggest frauds of recent decades have all involved Big Money overcoming common sense. 

Enough Big Money and, it is clear, people will believe what they know to be impossible - indeed they are positively eager and zealous to believe what they know to be impossible. 

A clear and uncontroversial example is the Theranos Fraud. 

I watched a speech by the alleged-CEO (but possibly just a puppet-front?) claiming they would develop a way of removing blood from veins without breaking the skin. 

This is obviously impossible - but most of the talk was about what enormous advantages there would be from such a breakthrough - how marvellous it would be if you could get blood out from blood vessels without needing to make a hole. 

The reported fact that "so many" people invested loads of money into this scheme (albeit mostly other peoples' money) - plus liberal helpings of pseudo-scientific gobbledegook - made people overcome what was obvious common sense, and assume that the impossible was actually possible.   

But Theranos was a negligible sideshow - one country and hundreds of millions of dollars, compared with the global fraud of hundreds of trillions due to the CO2 Climate scam, and the "AI" scam.

(Both actually occult parasitic totalitarian social engineering.) 

Yet, if it wasn't for the mind-distorting effect of Giga-dollar-money (and the vast forces of personnel and propaganda that it buys); both the CO2-Climate and "AI" claims would have very obviously failed the test of common sense.  

But when it comes to Climate and "AI"; the Bigness of the Money combines with the Bigness of the claims stuns people into a passive state of bewildered and gullible acceptance...

(i.e. A species of PSYOP.)

Surely (people infer) "they" couldn't be making such unimaginably, indeed un-believably, immense claims; if there was not a solid basis for them? 

Well, yes "they" have-done, can, and still-do Exactly That - and indeed the process has become routine.

"Business" as usual...

Enough money and resources - and people will believe... Anything.

Tethered caps on disposable bottles - a microcosm of strategic cultural suicide

I began to notice recently that I could not get the caps off bottles of drinks, which remained tethered to the bottle, until I cut them with strong scissors, or tore them free by main force. Otherwise it was nigh impossible to pour the drink because the tethered cap got in the way - and even unscrewing a tethered cap is mechanically self-defeating. 

After this became more and more common, I belatedly discovered that this was due to a new EU law - and (of course) the UK has never left the EU. 

This business is a perfect microcosm of here-and-now. Tethered caps are supposed to "encourage" recycling of the drinks caps, and recycling is always and invariably A Good Thing. And the more plastic crap we manufacture, the more we can recycle it - Yay! 

It's all an oh-so-serious issue - but conveniently serves the stepwise agenda of universal and detailed surveillance and control; by which permissible screw-on bottle top design has been brought under globalist totalitarian control.  

So, yet again; a dysfunctional and utterly futile law in service of an evil-motivated, anti-life agenda (CO2 Climate-excused totalitarianism) has been oh-so-laboriously discussed and decided-upon, and imposed internationally by vast bureaucratic-regulatory efforts. 

One of the stupidest and wrongest of traditional sayings, an inversion of truth - is: Look after the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves.

(Especially stupid since it arose when there were 240 pennies in a pound sterling!)

Yet this is modern Green "environmentalism" in a nutshell. In service to fake knowledge about a fake-and-evil theory concerning "climate change" - we have governments imposing energy-consuming and CO2 producing laws in pursuit of changes that - even if all predictive climate-change models were accurate (which they certainly are not, never having been validated), would have undetectably trivial benefits. Meanwhile engaging in mandatory and colossal environmental destruction - for example by gratuitous and mega-polluting wars.    

As another instance; thus we have (in the UK) truly draconian criminal laws protecting certain species such as bats against humans - we are not even allowed to touch these creatures. On the other hand, bats are being slaughtered by the ever-increasing numbers of "environmentally friendly" (but functionally counter-productive) wind-turbines at an admitted rate of thousands-to-millions per year! 

Nobody sincere, rational and well-motivated could possibly behave this way - hence we know for sure that those ruling The West are overall dishonest, irrational and evil-motivated. 

This is possible only by the docile, stupid, and preeningly self-satisfied mind-set of the Western managerial-intellectual class; a group who personally profit from laboriously and expensively implementing an agenda of pointlessly symbolic pseudo-reform in context of a strategy that is ultimately aimed-at purposive political, social, and personal destruction. 

The ruling demons are laughing themselves sick - pay attention, and you can "hear" them!

Immiseration, disease, disability and death are only means to an end for the evil rulers of this world

The non-Christian dissenters reliably get their basic conspiracy theory wrong, by imputing the wrong motivation to the globalist totalitarian rulers. 

The secular thinkers believe that They want to immiserate the masses, cause vast swathes of diseases and disabilities, and reduce the world population down to less than 10% of its current levels. 

The secular conspiracy thinkers believe that the Establishment seek power and wealth, in order to live lives of perverted pleasure by exploiting everybody and everything else...

All of this is true - but these are not the ultimate goal of the ruling conspiracy; merely a means to the end of damnation. 

Think about it: if They primarily wanted to destroy living and life, then They would just have gone ahead and done it already. 

After all They command vast destructive power, in innumerable potential modalities - far too many to be stopped, and it is trivially easy to harm human beings en masse if that is your major goal. 

But; although there are plenty of mid-level operatives who desire nothing more than to wreak terror, torment, and termination upon their 'fellow' Men; this is not the overarching goal of those in ultimate command of the ruling Establishment. 

The ultimate rulers are either demons or those humans who are utterly in thrall to the demonic agenda; and the demonic agenda is the damnation of souls, and Not the destruction of bodies and minds. 

Of course, the demonic very much want destruction of all kinds; but only when it leads to Men choosing damnation; and in-a-nutshell this means persuading the masses to consent-to and desire their own immiseration, disease, disability and death. 

That's what the vast apparatus of the mass (and social) media are all about, the take-over of officialdom and bureaucracy, the corruption of education... All of this is to try and ensure that the masses agree-to, and indeed ask-for, their own destruction. 

That is the basis of the vast Litmus Test strategies - the sexual revolution, birdemic-peck, CO2 global warming, antiracism and the Fire Nation war... Leftism/ atheism/ materialism in its most general sense. 

All of these are ways of making Men invite evil into their hearts, to invert true values, to desire their own destruction. 

The ideal scenario of is of the mass of human beings willing their own misery (as with lockdowns, social distancing, masking, antiracism, feminism etc.); asking-for their own disease (as with the peck, climate policies); and seeking their own deaths (as with the self-inflicted economic annihilation of The West from the birdemic, climate change, affirmative action; and now its wished-for military annihilation by world war). 

A topical example is the large numbers of the Western intellectual classes who - in the name of preventing an imaginary CO2-caused Climate Emergency - desire Men to cease reproducing; to live static lives of maximum hunger, poverty and slavery; and then die ASAP in order to cease consuming, breathing and metabolizing. 

This is not how Men naturally see things, but how demons see things. 

The bottom-line for demons (which, after all, are evil spirits, and do not have bodies) is not power or wealth; but instead the spiteful lust and sadism of inducing human souls to choose lives of fear and resentment, to die in despair and with hatred of God; to reject Jesus's gifts of salvation, resurrection and Heaven; and to choose Hellish damnation as their eternal situation. 

That is (more-or-less) what the conspiracy aims-at primarily and ultimately: spiritual, not physical, mass suicide. 

Overcoming the double-negative conceptualizations of Jesus Christ

Over the past few years, since I spent a year or so multiply re-reading the Fourth Gospel ("of John") in isolation; I have often emphasized the covertly-deceptive way in which double-negative formulations have colonized and distorted our minds and motivations - both in Christianity and in mainstream modern secular 'leftism'.  

A double-negative is not the same as a positive; yet it seems obvious that most people fail to recognize the essentially negative conceptualizations of their own beliefs and ideals: they suppose themselves to be idealists, with some kind of positive agenda; yet they nearly-always are in thrall to some merely double-negation.

For instance, they believe that the double-negations of being against CO2 climate change, or protecting the environment, is the same thing as loving and cherishing our relation to this natural world. And the consequence is massive destruction of nature and the severing of Men from the natural. 

The supposedly 'ecological' doubled double-negative of "stopping climate change" and "protecting the environment" leads to an explicit (albeit deceptive) vision of humankind crammed into pods of '15 minute' mega-cities, eating processed bugs delivered by drones - and experiencing nature only virtually, via media. 

(The double-negative attitude towards nature leads inexorably to the negation of Man - i.e. his extinction.)

Unfortunately, this kind of double-negation applies to many Christian understandings of Jesus Christ.

This is evident from using the synonym the Saviour to describe what is regarded as the essence of what He did for us. And that essence of what Jesus did is summarized as the Atonement - which is another double-negation. The same could be said about calling Jesus the redeemer, and describing the crucifixion as a redemption; all terms betray the primacy of double-negative theology. Conceptualizing Jesus's goodness as primarily sin-less-ness is another such.  

I am sure that this is mistaken, and also stands as an obstacle to modern understanding of Jesus Christ. Partly because because it is obvious that modern Man feels no spontaneous need for saving, atonement or redemption. 

If modern man must first be convinced of his default damnation from sin; he cannot begin to understand what Jesus is supposed to have done for him - thus evangelism is crippled. 

Yet the Fourth Gospel seems to tell a different story - at least if read straightforwardly, as our primary source of knowledge of Jesus's life and teachings (by which I mean; trying to understand the IV Gospel without subordinating it to the other Gospels, other parts of the New Testament, and the Bible as a whole). 

Of course; the IV Gospel can be interpreted in a double-negative fashion - as about Jesus as Saviour - since all positives can be reframed in a double-negative form. 

But reformulating a positive as double-negation always and necessarily leaves-out that which is truly positive; because in real-life (unlike mathematics!) a positive cannot emerge from negations. 

Being "against sin", does not tell us what to do instead-of sinning; just as being against "Anthropogenic Global Warming by CO2" does not tell mankind anything about how to build a good relationship with the natural world. 

(The double-negation of Jesus's teaching and work, leads to a negation of this mortal life - such that 'goodness' becomes the negation of sin, life the avoidance of damnation - life itself a thing to be got-through without falling and failing.)   

Jesus in the IV Gospel is presented, perfectly straightforwardly, as the giver of life everlasting*. Which is presented as a positive addition to human possibility. 

Yes, this also means negatively that Jesus "overcomes death" (a double-negation) - but this is only half the story, and the least helpful part. What Jesus offers positively is resurrection to eternal life in Heaven. 

And what this means is set-out in many points of the Gospel, albeit in ways that we tend to regard as poetical or allegorical - but, at the time of Jesus this was very probably the ordinary way that language was used. 

(Ancient languages had, what seems to us 'moderns', multiple and simultaneous meanings; they did not have the narrowly and precise, 'technical' and specialized - but utterly un-poetic! - language systems that we know from sciences, law, and bureaucracy generally.)   

Double-negatively expressed Jesus "overcomes death" - and death meant something different in Jesus's time and place than it does for us; yet 'death', then and now, shared the core meaning of the ending of self, a situation caused by the death of our body. 

When we die, our self will cease to be. For the Jews of Jesus's time this probably meant that soul was severed from body such that we would become witless, demented ghosts in Sheol. 

For modern Man death means utter annihilation - body and mind - forever. But in both instances we, as unique selves, are finished. 

 

But positively understood Jesus adds-to the human situation as it is understood to exist. 

Instead of things happening as they do without Jesus; Jesus makes possible something new and extra. 

Essentially; Jesus is the Giver of Life Everlasting, not the Saviour; because a positive trumps the partiality of a double-negative; because a giver is greater than a saver. 

*I argue elsewhere that in the IV Gospel "sin" means something closely equivalent to "death" - so that references to Jesus taking-away or overcoming "sin" are intended to refer essentially to death. But it is also true that sin in the sense of disharmony with God's motivations and methods, dis-alignment from the ways of divine creation, must be overcome before life everlasting, resurrection to Heavenly life eternal, can happen.

What is the most important thing in life supposed to be?

The most important thing is life is supposed to be 'religion'. That is how Men are made - spiritually, and even biologically. Because biologically Men evolved in a religious world - and Men's responses, motivations, attitudes and behaviours were always calibrated by a religious environment. 

(I use the scare quotes around religion, because the term is so ill-defined, controversial and indeed tendentious - against Christianity; but you-know-what-I-mean.)

Men are made by God so that our lives are built-around and permeated by considerations such as God or the gods, the spiritual world around us -including matters of contact and communication with that world, life beyond death, the purpose and meaning of life so-considered... and so forth. 

If we look back at any pre-modern society; it is obvious that religion was (almost always, for almost everybody) the most important thing: it provided a multi-level and integrated perspective through-which all else was evaluated.  

After religion was incrementally deleted from both public life, and - in effect - from personal thinking (even among the self-described religious - due to the change towards materialism-positivism-and this-worldly ideologies) Mankind entered an unprecedented world in which there was no integration overall, and where meaning and purpose were confined to micro and specialized domains, short-termist, selfish and pulling apart. 

What took-over as the most important thing in life? Variously (in different times and places) national identity, leftist politics, sex and sexuality, money, status - and sometimes (briefly) idealistic devotion to work: arts, literature, science, scholarship... 

At first after religion there was an age - a generation or two - or idealism and ideology. Even sex was an ideology, for a short while - for normal sex in the 60s, for abnormal sex from the 80s... 

But always, soon, these ideologies became negative, oppositional, incoherent - and much weaker as motivators. None of these replacements for religion were sufficiently powerful, effective, coherent, deep-rooted or motivating. 

Until in 2020 - all ideologies, all utopian hopes (whether for sex-utopia, arts or sciences, for the residual rump of church Christianity - or for any positive ideas), were suddenly discarded; and the whole world of human aspiration replaced by a mass mindless, irrational, panicky, dependent, pathetic craving for short-term personal survival at any cost. 

There was no longer any compelling positive reason to live - but only negative reasons not to die, not to suffer...

Against this global, pseudo-unifying mass effect of fear (also fuelled by manufactured and false fear of climate change due to excessive CO2) - worked many individual and group negative resentments based on sex, sexuality, race, nation, church-religion etc.  

And this is where we are - now. One world system organized around negative motivators concerning the birdemic and climate change; which are Big Lies. And multiple fissile and hostile negative sub-motivators based mainly on race, ethnicity, religion and the other resentments of leftism. 

Absent religion; there is only one terminus, which is despair and the desire for death - which means, to the non-religious - wished-for annihilation of the self, of the soul. 

All because the most important thing in life must be religion. First that must be recognized and acknowledged as a fact. Then people must 'choose their religion'...

But this time choosing religion personally, from internal evaluations, without equating religion with any external assumed-authoritative 'church' (all major denominational churches having by now demonstrated unambiguously that they are a part of the religion-deleting, negative-system of evil).

How may someone choose their religion? On the basis of what is true - of course; but the process should probably start with asking "What would I most want to be true? Now - and, most importantly, forever."

Once that is known - we can begin work to establish whether our first idea of what we most want is really what we most want; and then whether it really is true by the profoundest intuitive evaluation we can discern.

Why the biggest Western civilizational strategies have Zero validity? A multi-level explanation

It is an interesting aspect of the most recent giga-dollar projects, schemes, and strategies (characteristic, especially, of Western civilization in its end-stage) - that they consist almost entirely of coloured lights, smoke and mirrors, vapour and blank-assertion. 

Among currently active projects of colossal size, scope and expense; there is the climate scam, the birdemic/peck scam, the antiracism scam, the AI scam, and the war-everywhere scam... 

These all share:

1. An absence of mass and grass-roots origins or support. Such projects are imposed top-down, multi-nationally. By simultaneously coordinating the many functional specializations, and integrated goals and bureaucratic-media methods, of the global totalitarian system. 

2. An absence of coherent reality in terms of need. Ends and means are alike invisible to personal experience. The rationale for these projects is wholly manufactured, and disseminated by "research" and mass media propaganda. 

3. An absence of rational credibility for the effectiveness of the vast schemes of "intervention". 

No demand, no coherence - no genuine need, no potential effectiveness...

There must be some reason why nothing-burgher projects are consistently chosen, in preference to schemes addressing real needs by valid measures?

In fact there are many reasons and at many levels by which to understand why strategy is rooted-in and aimed-at Nothing, rather than... something.

At the deepest (spiritual evil) level it seems obvious that to organize the world on the basis of nothing, fits with the nihilistic - anti divine creation - stance of the demonic motivation. Insofar as creation is subverted by incoherence and lies; the anti-God alliance is winning. 

At the level of the most powerful human leadership class; a strategy based on nothing, is - once established and launched - impossible to refute. Nothingness cannot be critiqued on the basis of either data or individual human experiences. 

At the level of the puppet-leadership class - those heading the nations, major corporations and most significant institutions - the only requirement is that strategies be backed-up by the largest possible and longest sustainable infusions of money and other resources; so that multiple forms of (mostly-legal) corruption can redirect benefits to their pockets. 

And when the entire project is phony, then such vampirism is less noticeable and less likely to be suppressed than would be the case if there was a real problem being addressed by a potentially valid solution. 

(Consider CO2 climate strategies or the Birdemic-Peck... When the whole vast theoretical scheme is shaped from nothing and lies, then nobody really expects anything to work - and they wouldn't know if it did.) 

In consequence; nihilistic indifference prevails; and nothing is done to prevent, limit, or punish the overwhelming incidence of tyrannical self-enrichment, expedient policy contradictions, and obscenely flagrant hypocrisy,   

At the level of senior and mid-level bureaucrats/ managers/ intellectuals - these types are indifferent to content, and wholly focused on proximate matters such as careers and status. They will willingly say and do anything required of them by their bureaucratic superiors - so long as this aligns with incentives; and will eagerly manufacture the necessary rationale or obfuscate the obvious: on demand.

At the level below the middle-managerial-myrmidons of evil - it does not matter what the masses think about these projects. The schemes are done-to such people; whose only job is to do the needful stuff and provide the necessities of living. The masses are the despised host; whose existence merely enables the thriving of an extractive parasitic superstructure.      

In sum, there are many reasons, from up-front and proximate to long-term and ultimate; why it suits the totalitarian system to prefer ruling the world on the basis of nothing, rather than something. 

What should we do first? (Given that Western populations are insane...)

There is a lot of competition in the public arena (including the mass media and the discourse of major institutions - i.e. the linked-bureaucracy) about what should be the priority for what to do, what action to take...

All of them are wrong. Indeed, the more urgent and necessary the action you propose, the more it argues against any kind of campaign to rectify it. Of course, most of the priorities proposed are clearly insane - like the international multi-trillion dollar campaign to stop 'climate change' by reducing CO2 emissions.

But even the calls to address real and important problems fail to notice that the causal factor this is same insanity that led to the climate change scam.

For example, continued mass migration to the UK will destroy the nation, obviously: it is an excluse for totalitarianism, obviously - and especially when the mass immigration mostly comes from where it does, and includes the people it does.

But this is such obvious common sense that the causal factor cannot be that people don't realise the facts of the situation - it is that we have an insane population.

The more vital and urgent the action - the most clearly this fact demonstrates that the problem is deep, fundamental.

Insane, in the sense that the populations in the West have inverted priorities, based on inverted values (Good is evil; evil is Good). Now of course this situation has been led by the Establishment; but there is now little or no push-back. The masses are complicit, supportive of insanity, resistant to sanity...

Western populations are by-now deeply insane due to deep-rooted, foundational, metaphysical materialism/ positivism/ scientism... which means they/ we reject any possibility of meaning, purpose, objectivity.

Of course our societies are strategically insane - and many of the people who assume that they have seen-through the propaganda to the truth about this are equally insane at the deep level (they are merely insane about different things).

We must address the insanity first, because we cannot expect good results from implementing the understanding, priorities and methods of an insane population. All action plans are a distraction from that priority.

Think about it. Do you ask for advice about priorities and action-plans from someone who is talking to hallucinatory voices and who thinks they are Napolean? Or from somebody who believes that they are actually dead, their insides are rotted away and that they caused World War II? Or from somebody who gabbles rapid nonsese 24/7?... That is the modern Western population - just look at us, listen to us. Is it reasonable to expect discernment and strategy from people such as we are. here-and-now? No. The problem is the insanity. First the insanity must be cured; only after the insanity has gone, can we start taking notice.

Unless the casue of our prevalent insanity, the underlying problem of materialism, is addressed; then all actions will merely be the implementation of insanity.

This is a consequence of the corruption of all those who control and contribute to public discourse.

Don't be distracted.

Deniability is important to the strategy of evil

You may have noticed (if you have noticed anything since 2020!) that evil nearly-always wants to take a round-about and deniable route to its desired outcomes. 

This can get pretty complex - especially when (as I assume) different kinds of demons are engaged in misleading each-other. 

Thus - the Climate Change scam/lie is mostly about the bureaucratic totalitarian ("Ahrimanic") demons using CO2 (trade mark Gas-of-Life) as a rationale for the worldwide surveillance, monitoring and control of humankind - partly by means of creating a much smaller world economy that is susceptible of such micro-management.

But the demons of destruction ("Sorathic") approve this scheme because (in destroying 'non-sustainable' practices) it will grossly shrink and cripple the world economy; and inevitably will cause the Giga-death of billions of the masses by starvation (amplified by disease and violence).  

The totalitarian demons thus used the Fire Nation invasion as a (more-or-less) plausible excuse to accelerate their 'Green Energy' programme by inflicting severe oil-starving and trade-sabotaging 'sanctions' on their own nations (under the pretense that this would harm the Fire Nation!... ROFL). 

(Some of the stupider bureaucrats seem also to have believed that these 'sanctions', plus exclusion of leaders from the international elite club of demon-possessed snakes and zombies; would rapidly bring the militarily and raw-material mighty Fire Nation to its knees and under control of the Global Establishment; preparatory to doing the same - sometime down the line - to the productive and populous Earth Nation.)

You can see the cleavage opening between the waning totalitarian-demons and the waxing destroyers; in that (after only three months!) the totalitarians have suddenly realized that the economic-trade collapse wrought by the climate-emergency-inspired oil-sanctions will very quickly and completely disable, then destroy, the complex surveillance-monitoring-control capability of the bureaucratic states... 

(With the end of Agenda 2030/ Great Reset and all those other grandiose globalist strategies.) 

But why the roundabout route, why bother with deniability?

Partly, because people may react-against and fight overt evil. Albeit, the Godless masses are now so incapable of thought and addicted to distraction - and the intellectual classes so inverted in their values - that they might well go-along - enthusiastically! - with explicit plans for their own annihilation; as with population replacement and enslavement to 'the other' under the diversity ideal. 

But mainly because the demons want us to desire our own enslavement and/or destruction. 

All the evil that is done to us - up to and including starvation, disease, violence, and death - needs to be regarded by the victims as deserved, "for our own good", for the greater good; or for some other kind of abstractly 'virtuous' reason such as the QWERTY-trans/ Green/ healthist/ feminist or other leftist ideology (now widely advocated as having transcended God, and the need for God).

But, because God is merciful and desires that we are saved; only by Men desiring their own damnation - or, at the extreme of resentment, suffering and fear, by despairing and regarding God the creator as an evil tormentor... Only thus can our death be made an effective route to damnation and Hell.

By contrast; if most people were to notice, acknowledge and understand what is going-on behind the lies, deceptions and deniability - then this insight into evil will lead to an increased likelihood of salvation after death; and also a higher likelihood of people learning and developing spiritually during this mortal life. 

This is what the Beings of purposive evil seek to avoid by pursuing deliberately bad outcomes by roundabout, deniable and plausibly-'virtuous' roundabout routes

Therefore, those who remain unconscious, passive, and who refuse to see evil - actually bring down suffering upon themselves. 

The demons know that the mass of self-blinded folk will never blame the guilty, and will instead seek well-meaning excuses for the result of Satanic motivations. 

The more such people suffer and despair - the more assured is their damnation. 

And, contrariwise; our best possible spiritual defense against the domination by evil Beings; is to be alert, aware and honest - and strive always, wholeheartedly, to understand the truth behind the deceptions. 

Motivation misdirection (more on why we are such cowards)

A major reason why modern people are such cowards (compared with all previous generations) is that they lack strong motivation - this is ultimately because they lack religion; and proximately because the actual primary motivations that modern people do have are feak and weeble.

We are officially supposed to be motivated by artifical, false, incoherent, changeable, and distant concerns. That is what is permitted and encouraged; and any other concerns we might have that are personal, based on experience and common sense - are demonised and (increasingly) punished.

Modern motivations are feak and weeble because they are misdirected: deliberately. What I mean by this is that our precise, primary natural and spontaneous motivations; are culturally-misdirected into vague, secondhand abstractions.

Take for example the three things that are this week supposed to motivate the people of the world: 1. the birdemic, 2. antiracism and 3. CO2-related global/ climate/ warming/ change...

1. Pretty-much everything we know about the threat of global pandemic is abstract, statistical and via the mass media; concerning people we don't know, don't care about - and maybe don't exist. We are supposed to be concerned not by the actual risks to our health but acting to keep 'other people' safe. And this is not something that lasts a few days or weeks, but the New Normal. In essence, we are supposed to be motivated in our moment-to-moment actions, now and forever, by our desire to contribute to better data summaries, and the blanket approval of the media/ government.

2. Antiracism. Everybody is supposed to care passionately about some incident that is supposed to have happened in the USA. We know nothing about this except what comes via the mass media; and we have been told what this is supposed to mean, and what we are supposed to do about it. In sum, the supposedly major ethical principle of our lives is that unknown strangers in foreign countries who are (apparently in as many ways as possible) defined as qualitatively different from ourselves (yet, somehow, simultaneously identical...); must matter more to each of us than people who we know and love - our relations, friends and neighbours. 

3. The 'environmentalism' of change/ warming/ climate/ global/ carbon... Again personal knowledge and experience counts for nothing. We are instead told to care only about the average concentration of a chemical, assertions about what is has happened thousands of miles away and hundreds of years ago. We must believe the truth and accuracy of statements linking remote causes with distant effects, mathematical theories about the future, socio-economic hypotheses about what 'must' be done - and we are expected to feel all this as an overwhelmingly urgent imperative.

In sum, we are cowards because we cannot genuinely and strongly and personally be motivated by unnatural, artificial abstractions; and these unnatural, artificial abstractions are the only ones officially allowed us.

Thus abstraction doth make cowards of us all...

Mindless mindfulness, and the meaning of (real Christian) meditation

I wrote a few years ago about 'mindfulness'* - and that kind of empty meditational practice; which is at best an analgesic, but is probably being pushed by The Establishment for much more malignant reasons.

This came to mind in watching one of John Butler's recent videos. I find him interesting because he exhibits the best and the worst aspects of the (Hindu/ Buddhist-derived) perennialist oneness spirituality as it affects the Western mind.

JB says much that is wise and valuable in the early part of the vid - and then towards the end demonstrates a stunning lack of discernment that comes through in supporting the vacuous 'mindfulness without God' fad, and references his dumb-evil belief in CO2-global-warming-totalitarianism that nowadays goes with New Agery. And the equally dumb-evil assumption that the rise in billionnaire-funded, mass media and state bureaucracy supported, mindfulness-training and climate-hysteria are steps in the right direction, that JB personally supports!

I mean, how unwise, how dense, does someone need to be to suppose that anything good for people, good for the planet, would really be emanating from such people and sources?


(The chap who interviews JB - Phil Shankland - is an Extinction Rebellion activist, who can be seen on his Facebook pages taking part in demonstrations. So much for the spiritual benefits of knowing and spending loads of time with a contemporary wise man, and meditating for hours every day - plus an active life associated with a liberal-'Christian' church!... JB himself - in other videos - apparently takes for granted the validity of Warmist claims to be able to predict and control the world climate by a - necessarily totalitarian - global government; empowered to monitor and control all human activity.)


Of course, if a oneness, Nirvana seeking, anti-ego meditator were trying to be consistent; he would have no political views at all; and no interest in other-people or the way that things apparently happen in this - by definition illusory - mortal life. He would have No Morality - because morality is regarded as just as much part of the illusion of This Life as is everything else we think is real. 

However, in practice, such folk mostly seem to be on the stupid and ranting extreme of Leftist moralistic posturing; and when followed-up through time (which, in theory, they also regard as illusory) exhibit a stunning inability to learn from life experiences.

That is what oneness spirituality seems to do to Westerners - it makes them indifferent to personal experience, and indifferent to the truth (i.e. indifferent to the maya / illusion of this changing mortal life) - but just to a sufficient extent to prevent them from taking life seriously enough to learn from the experience! Just to a sufficient extent to reject the reality of traditional sexual morality; but not quite enough to reject the moral imperatives that justify the ever expanding claims of the modern sexual revolution.

Somehow the effect of oneness and loss of ego is never quite enough to induce them to set-aside mainstream, approval-seeking, virtue-signalling, fashion-dominated Leftism...

I would say that meditation does indeed begin with self-remembering, being here-and-now; knowing the 'presence' of God. So far, JB is valuable, helpful. But meditation then should - instantly - move-on-to being aware not of God as a diffuse omni-presence (analogous to our immersion in the sea, or floating in air); but to knowing God as a person: indeed knowing God as our loving parent (here, now, with-us)...

(Knowing, that is, God as a Being - not an abstraction.)

And meditation should not be seeking to annihilate 'the ego' or 'the self', nor to dissolve it into the abstract one-ness of deity - but to bring forth our true and divine self.


(What would be the point of God creating mortal life if its purpose was to annihilate the body and the self? Better not have mortal life in the first place! No - the purpose of this our mortal life is to experience and learn from temporary incarnation and self-hood, so that we may be able to choose - or reject - Christ's offer of immortal incarnation and divine self-hood.) 


And meditation should be about our true-self meeting-with a Being: such as our Heavenly Father; or other divine, spiritual or other presence - perhaps the beloved dead.

And why should we meet such? Not for happiness, coping, to kill pain or reduce anxiety - But through love; that's the proper reason. It is indeed the proper reason for meeting anyone. Love of that person, or love of of God's creation.

And inter-personal love - between Beings; not love understood as a kind of gas, force-field, or high frequency vibration! 


Also, meditation should Not be about trying to sustain itself as a solid lasting state; but about (when needed, at will) touching-base with this underlying reality to reorientate ourselves in life.

We are not - clearly, from the design of this world - meant to spend our lives suspended in a static-state of meditation or prayer; but (mostly) in loving and creating. And meditation is in order to make this possible, set us on the proper direction etc.

What I (personally) aim-for: is to be able to meditate and pray often, on demand; but not continuously. As Arkle says; God does not want us to be thinking about Him most of the time; but God wants us to do what we are here to do; live in the way God wants us to live (roughly: loving and creating).

Broadly; we best serve God by doing what God wants us to do (and that is an unique destiny for each person), not in continuously contemplating God.


Meditation and prayer are therefore best 'used' as ways of reminding our-selves of this situation; and of clearing away that evil addiction to fear that JB so well describes early in this video.

To leave aside fear is necessary; but not an end in itself. Unless detachment from the temporary and irrelevant concerns of worldly angst is only a first step; then meditation becomes just a drugless Valium.

Context is everything; the meaning of meditation depends absolutely on the spiritual, religious, metaphysical assumptions that are used to understand it, and its purposes. 

We ought then to move straight-on to consider this mortal life in terms of our faith and hope of immortal resurrected life, through following Jesus. 


*Note: Mindfulness is meditation without religion, without God. Mindfulness is thus meditation embedded-in an the assumptions of mainstream, materialist, Leftism. It is meditation reduced to pure technique. Hence mindfulness is directed merely at human happiness in this mortal life, to the individual in the present moment. This amounts to, as I say, merely a non-drug form of painkiller, anxiolytic or antidepressant. It is a way of 'coping' with the incrementally-escalating psychological evils of totalitarian Leftism - which then, of course, is able to grow unopposed and unabated.

Why don't we notice contradictions? What is it about us that is insane?

In a comment at The Politically Incorrect Australian, I wrote:

I believe that it is our deep assumptions that are insane, not the surface 'facts'.

(This is actually the way that delusional psychosis mostly works - although there may also be false observations, i.e. hallucinations. Most of the false ideas come from how shared-common data are interpreted.)

So it is the false assumption that groups of men, women, Europeans, African Americans all have 100% identical intelligence ('g') and personality traits; so that people then assume that any and all facts of different accomplishment 'must' be due to irrational prejudice and discrimination (even if that p&d is pretty much invisible).

Even with Anthropogenic CO2-driven global warming; the underlying problem is the false assumptions that 'scientists' can 1. predict and 2. control global climate - when there isn't a shred of a reason to assume that either of these are true (and, in contrast, a zillion reasons to believe that we 1. do not know what will be the future of earth's climate, and 2. could not control it if we did).


So, the problem is much deeper than 'noticing' - because our false/ incoherent assumptions mean even when people do notice, it makes no difference to their understanding.

The Major Issues we are fed by the mass-social media are indeed a distraction; but with nearly all the population plugged-in and addicted 24/7; any specific distractions are overwhelmed by the sheer vast torrent of 'stuff' that takes precedence over our own personal experiences and common sense reasoning.


The root of this is denial of God/ the spiritual realm. (I don't specifically mean Christian - I mean the denial of any divine or immmaterial aspect to life.)

This works at a 'biological' level to destroy our evolved psychological adaptations - in other words we fail to reproduce.

The first generation of godless nihilists functioned OK, because they were brought-up religious; but from then onwards - and as the buffering effect of older generations died-out - the Western Populations have gone deeper and deeper into insanity.

With the gods eliminated, lack any core to our belief systems. Modern beliefs are, consequently, just labile collections of evanescent urges.


We evolved to function with this divine core, without it we are maladaptive - and, of course, all Western populations are going extinct everywhere - amidst abundance, without predators, and with little premature death - going extinct by 'choice'.

On top of this; we do not notice and cannot recognise existantial threats such as Globalist totalitarianism, forcible open-ended mass immigration, or strategic functional destruction of institutions (by universal convergence onto an ever-expanding and contradictory class/ race/ sex/ sexuality agenda).

We are a terminally mentally-sick society; and the root of our sickness is atheism, god-denial, materialism... call it what you will. If we don't 'cure' that, then nothing else matters. 

The corruption of religions, by piling-up of revelations

It seems that there is an almost irresistible tendency for 'religions' (and other things like 'religions' to bulk-up with time: to become, if not more genuinely complex, greater and greater in quantity of assertions. 

More and more 'revelations' are added to the original foundations until... well, in the first place the original foundations may become obscured, the reality of the religion may be distorted away from its primary core; and eventually - which may not take long - the actuality of the religion may be directed in the opposite direction from its origins in several or many respects. 

In the end, a religion - in its actual practice and effect - may become the inversion of how it began.  

This can be seen with Christianity if, like me, one regards the Fourth Gospel as a valid record its its origins. It seems that the primal simplicity of Jesus Christ's example and teaching was substantially added-to (and thereby, significantly, both obscured and distorted) almost immediately after his ascension; and the process continued for centuries.  

Some of these post-Christ revelations were helpful clarifications and extrapolations of the consequences of what Jesus said; but most were not; and many were contradictions. 

Ideally, it seems to me, it would be best to take the primal simplicity of the origins, and to examine the implications, and to explore what these mean in individual lives and the lives of groups and nations. 

However, this process seems to be rare - perhaps because it is cognitively difficult; and because Men have an innate interest in novelty; and in getting immediate answers to their own personal and urgent questions, rather than to exploring the implications of the foundation. 

And sometimes because there are successful attempts to manipulate Men; by snowing them with unmanageable information, by generating the incomprehensible, by creating a fixed attitude of inadequacy and therefore de facto obedience and passivity in relation to authority.  

At any rate, I observe a very similar trajectory of accumulations of assertions in those religious and spiritual movements of which I have some knowledge. 

Mormonism underwent enormous accumulative changes through its first decades from the origins in 1830; and soon became hardly recognizable both in terms of style and content, and in terms of the scale of emphasis.  

Similarly Rudolf Steiner's spiritual science movement rapidly accumulated a truly vast mass of assertions, almost wholly from Steiner himself; from its simple origins in the philosophical works and Christian conversion of the late 19th century; and through next quarter century - only terminated by Steiner's death. 

The most extreme example is the New Age movement. This was never simple nor coherent, because always eclectic; drawing on CG Jung, the Westernized versions of several Eastern religions, and the 'beatnik'/ hippie youth cultures. 

But the New Age movement grew almost entirely by addition. Interest and motivation was maintained by heaping-up more and more possibilities - more alternative healing systems, more techniques of meditation... different psychoactive drugs; divination by astrology, magic or tarot; artifacts such as crystals, pyramids; ever more varieties of neo-paganism (Wicca, Drudism, Shamanism...). And so on. 

There were periodic attempts to bring some kind of coherence - for example John Michell's 1969 The View over Atlantis - which linked several themes such as UFOs and ETs, ley lines, and Atlantis as an archetype of ancient high civilizations - my means of a revived Neo-Platonism. 

But even in Michell's own work, the strong tendency to accumulate overwhelmed the rigorous exploration of principles. And the New Age movement as a whole simply absorbed and absorbed - and any rigor of reasoning was itself in a playful spirit; designed more to stimulate and entertain rather than to explore the implications of truth.  

(In such a situation, the true ruling principles of New Age became those of society at large - in this instance the acceptability boundaries of hegemonic materialistic, atheistic, leftism - within-which all New Age activity functioned. Thus the phenomenon of 'convergence'. New Agers might 'believe' almost anything spiritual - but are united in regarding (e.g.) climate change, racism, and the sexual revolution as among the most important moral issues of the day.)

   

I see much the same tendency at work in almost all domains of human action; including science where vast superstructures of 'research' are built on arbitrary or false claims (CO2 warmism - with its foundational lie of being able to predict global climate - is the egregious example). And in law - where legally-nonsensical and/or undefined-undefinable principles (such as 'hate crimes', 'racism', 'asylum-seeker', 'diversity', 'inclusion') are used to underpin truly enormous superstructures of bureaucracy; and to determine the fate of nations and civilizations. 

All these many tendencies have led to where we now stand; where Men's mind are utterly stunned and rendered ineffective by the incomprehensibly enormous accumulation of assertions. 

This leads, inevitably, to passivity; and to an attitude of 'not even trying' to understand but instead a stance of fluid, pragmatic, unprincipled, unmoored, here-and-now, expediency - getting-by, getting-along, making-the-best-of-it...

And yet: anther possibility remains as a living alternative. To discover, each for himself, the stark simplicities that underpin the incomprehensible superstructures: first and crucially in religion, especially including Christianity - but also everywhere else. 

...And then to determine whether these fundamentals are indeed true to reality as we know it; simply by paying them sustained attention, and learning from what eventuates. 

Leftist conformity

Another of the lessons of the birdemic year of 2020 was that leftism means conformity. The more leftist a nation, region, or person - the more conformity to the global agenda. 

While this is now, officially, One World under Satan - the variation in degree of Satanic conformity within this One World correlates very obviously with leftism - the more leftist, the more Satanic.

Indeed, leftist extreme/ hardline/ activism since the millennium (such as MLB-antifa/racism or Climate-Rebellion-Extinction-Emergency) has come to mean aggressively demanding that the global billionaire elites do exactly want they already want to do; only more and faster. 

Leftism just is actual cowardly and expedient conformity and careerism; while indulging a self-gratifying fantasy (sustained by the media and officialdom) of bold independence and revolutionary originality. 

(Thus the shoals of supposedly 'shocking' and rebellious popular UK public figures who end-up wealthy powerful, famous; and with medals from the Queen, knighthoods, peerages and 'prestigious' awards - while simultaneously being officially labelled as marginalized, excluded members of an oppressed minority.)  

One interesting side-effect is that the word 'radical' - which was until recently a cheer term for idealistic-leftism; has been redefined as anti-left. What used to be called left radicals are now 'activists'; as above. 

In retrospect we can see a vast con; gong back to the middle 1960s when leftism shifted from a focus on class resentment and the economy (equal opportunities, nationalization etc.) to personal resentment - with the sexual revolution, women and race as the basis of multiple 'victim groups'. 

Leftists were labelled as the bold, independent minded radicals - even as they were being groomed into the managerial and bureaucratic class - expressing their 'radicalism' in terms of obedience to fashions - in hair, clothes, sexuality, 'good causes' and so on and on, always changing - always being-changed from above. 

Activism is now the willing embrace of whatever is current and approved - whether that be anti-white antiracism or the birdemic-peck scam; mutilation and poisoning of children in the trans-agenda; or looting and micro-managing the world economy to reduce CO2 and kill viruses. 

Whatever the twists and turns, lies and tortures of the current, Globalist-approved agenda - leftists will embrace it, enforce it - will hate, demonize and try to destroy anybody who does not. And those who do not (i.e. those 'radicals' who have-been 'radicalized') are - increasingly - just a minority of individuals who have personal conviction of the reality of a personal God, and that this is God's created world.   

Bounded consumerism and the 1970s ideal of Voluntary Simplicity

In my late teens and twenties, I was an advocate and practitioner of what could be termed Voluntary Simplicity (VS) - with "simplicity" interpreted in a relative but not total sense. 

The idealistic and extreme advocates of VS were proposing a return to an essentially medieval feudal agrarian system; but medieval minus the Lord of the Manor and the Catholic church. In other words; pretty much the kind of society of many small farmers and craftsmen that was envisaged by William Morris in News From Nowhere. 

However, my less radical idea was to (more or less) stop overall economic growth, except for benefits due to improvements in (simple) technology* and methods - on the basis that by 1975 we had "enough" stuff; and indeed we should reduce our material needs in order to allow more discretionary time ad space for individual freedom. 

Thus; consumerism would not altogether be abolished, but would be "bounded". 

This also applied at the level of individual persons; whereby paid work was understood in terms of a "deal" whereby so much in the way of resources was traded for so much time and effort in labour; and the individual could - and I would have said should - reduce his wants in order to allow more time for discretionary activities. 

This is, of course, the attitude advocated by HD Thoreau in the Economy chapter of Walden. 

The activities to be pursued during the time and with the energies liberated by restricting material-wants were high-minded: things such as contemplating the natural world, reading and writing, doing arts and crafts, communal social participation in music and dancing - and the like. 

In short; a somewhat "Merrie England" sort of existence! 

When I eventually became a paid worker, this was exactly what I did in my own life. I had qualified as a doctor, and therefore could command a much higher-than-average pay-per-hour; but I chose not to maximize income by doing the full allocation of medical hours; but instead to trade-off about half the potential salary in order to get about double the free time. 

Such an attitude was actually fairly mainstream, or at least not unusual and fairly influential, in leftish (as I was) Britain of the 1970s - and (I later discovered) had a fairly well-known international advocate in the French economist Andre Gorz. 

It went with a tendency to eschew fashion, and the accumpulation of possessions; and expenditure on things like lavish cars and holidays.  

But through the middle 1980s, there was instead an almost society-wide return of aggressive consumerism; with a desire and expectation for participation in frequent rounds of fashion, technological novelties, and complexification of life - all of which was linked to higher social status. 

This has continued up to the present; and has transformed what is now called the "Green" movement from one based on "back to the land" deliberately simple agrarianism; to the current state-/multinational-/ multibillionnaire-/ bureaucratic-managerial-dominated compulsory-subsidized waves of techno-fashion. 

These technologies are by intent anti-nature, anti-farming; and in-practice focused entirely on pseudo-scientific and officially-mandated concepts such as CO2 climate, or the levels of other chemicals - the individual person is regarded as unable to make such evaluations; and is supposed to accept and obey these diktats without questioning.  

In terms of individual aspirations; the social ideal is very far from Morrisite, Thoreauvian, Voluntary Simplicity; but instead success is to work long hours for an ever-increasing salary to sustain ever-increasing and publicly-advertised consumption. 

"Leisure" is focused on the purchase and display of ever-changing fashions; and expensive pastimes such as owning high status cars and boats; participating in expensive sports; and travel to exotic locations. 

Even gardening has become ever more fashion-driven, expensive, and technological! 

And farming is aggressively demonized rather than idealized.

The whole area of food-production and consumption has been shaped by top-down media, NGO and government campaigns emanating from mega-corporations and using PSYOPS. 

So that farm animals are painted as an evil and destructive indulgence; meat-eating is wicked and to be abolished (for the masses) in favour of factory-made protein matter; and veganism is prescribed as spiritually virtuous - and has been orientated towards eating ever-more artificial and imported substances.  

A very far cry from the hopes and dreams of the neo-medievalists of the 1970s!

Such have been, over the past half-century, the dominant trend of choices and decisions made by Western Society and by most of the individual persons in these societies. 

While there was much that was unfounded and incoherent about the ideals of Voluntary Simplicity - and the whole notion lacked a basis in the strong motivations that only an active and spiritual religion can provide; what has replaced the seventies idealisations of nature and society has been a good deal worse! 

*My ideas of simple technology were influenced by EF Schumacher's "Intermediate Technology" as described in his book Small is Beautiful. 

Note: Some readers will notice that in my descriptions of neo-medievalism I did not mention Distributism, or the names of Hilaire Belloc and GK Chesterton. This is because I was not significantly aware of this 1920-30s movement during the 1970s, mostly because my perspective was coming out from atheism and the Left. However, I had read of Distributism in EF Schumacher's A Guide for the Perplexed, which I read on publication in 1977. Nonetheless; I had apparently more-or-less filtered-out this information, as being of little interest to me at the time - although I became very keen on it later when I had developed a more positive attitude to Christianity.
